• Significant experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally as a COO, Head of Operations or Director of Operations in a charity, social enterprise or purpose-driven organisation.

To lead and manage the Compliance Support team responsible for overseeing the ongoing compliance of all organisations actively participating in the FareShare Go programme after their probation period. Project Manager (Cascade Wellbeing Project)

Part Time – 21 hours (3 days) per week

Salary £24,000 (£40,000 FTE)

We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver the Cascade Project – a partnership between the St Benedict’s Centre and the Diocese of Rochester. The project aims to develop a programme of initiatives and interventions to support frontline church leaders (lay and ordained, including Headteachers of church schools) with their wellbeing.

The project has been under development for the past year. The Project Manager will lead the project from development to implementation. Funding has been committed by the Church Commissioners for the first 4 years of the implementation period.

The Project Manager will provide overall leadership for the Cascade project, taking responsibility for setting culture and strategy and vision, developing strong and successful relationships with key external partners, delivering an imaginative programme (in person and online) to support the wellbeing of lay and ordained church leaders (including Headteachers of Church Schools) in the Diocese of Rochester and beyond, and ensuring that there are sufficient resources available for Cascade to flourish.

Candidates should have experience of leadership in a church setting with project management experience.  You should have an understanding of wellbeing issues for frontline workers and knowledge of a variety of therapeutic processes and other interventions.  You will have excellent organisational and communications skills.

About the Role

About the role

As a CYP Team Leader you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed and child-centred services. This includes supporting staff to manage complex cases, maintain high safeguarding standards, and ensuring that service delivery meets contractual requirements and organisational expectations. The role combines people management, operational leadership and partnership working, with a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

About You

• Experience of working with children and young people in a safeguarding or support context, ideally within criminal justice, victim support or related services.

The Role

As Team Leader of the Affected Others Programme, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of GamCare’s online support services for people affected by someone else’s gambling. Working closely with the Affected Others Programme Manager, you will make sure the service is safe, responsive and well run, supporting the team to identify need, manage risk, respond to safeguarding concerns and deliver high-quality interventions for people who may otherwise struggle to access the right support.

You will also help shape how the service develops. This includes line managing and supporting Services Officers, embedding lived experience into service design, monitoring quality and impact, and using feedback and data to improve what is offered. You will combine compassionate operational leadership with service development, helping build accessible, inclusive support for affected others across the UK.

About You

You will be an experienced support services, peer support or health and wellbeing professional, with a background in mental health, addictions, public health, social care, counselling, nursing, social work or community-based support, who wants to combine compassionate leadership with hands-on service delivery.

You will be motivated by the chance to create safe, inclusive and accessible support for people who may face additional barriers to seeking help, including young adults, neurodiverse people, LGBTQIA+ communities, men and people from ethnic minority backgrounds.

You will need a relevant professional qualification or accredited training in an area such as mental health, addictions, public health, health and social care, psychology, counselling, social work, nursing or peer support leadership. You will bring experience of managing and developing high-performing teams, overseeing peer support or support interventions, and applying safeguarding, risk management and co-production principles in practice.
