About the Role

As the Supporter Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engagement strategies to cultivate relationships with our valued Christian* supporters. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will lead initiatives to increase prayer, giving, and church engagement, aligning with our broader objectives. You will manage our Supporter Engagement Co-ordinator, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of our supporter-centric initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supporter engagement strategy to bolster our supporter base and enhance engagement levels.
• Curate a tailored stewardship journey for major donors and legacy pledges, providing personalised communications and resources to foster continued support.
• Oversee the management of our supporter database/CRM, ensuring compliance with GDPR and all relevant legislation.
• Utilise data analytics to design targeted campaigns and initiatives aimed at expanding our supporter network across various channels and touchpoints.
• Lead church engagement efforts, forging and nurturing connections with local and national churches and networks.
• Collaborate with our Activities and Community Engagement (ACE) Facilitators to enhance engagement within our care homes and housing schemes.
• Drive regular prayer communications, fostering a culture of prayer support through various platforms including our online Prayer Wall.
• Organise and lead supporter-facing events such as exhibitions and conferences to facilitate meaningful interactions with existing and prospective supporters.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and share insights with internal teams to inform strategic decision-making.

About You

• Minimum of three years of experience in the charity or third sector.
• Proven track record in supporter engagement and database management.
• Good understanding of UK GDPR regulations.
• Familiarity with fundraising functions and project management.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

EduSpots is an innovative, dynamic, and community-driven UK and Ghanaian registered charity which connects, trains, and equips voluntary community educators to drive community-led change through education spaces named ‘Spots’. Our vision is of our world where communities unite to create the futures they want to see, through education.

Since 2016, through collaborating extensively with over 250 local volunteers, who take a central leadership role in the development of the network, we have supported 50 communities in creating and running community-led and owned education spaces named ‘Spots’, with a strategy to support them in moving towards our ‘Dream Spot Model’. Together, we are developing a model for a community-led education space with accompanying network engagement that could have relevance in settings across the world. 

Our Ghana-based programmes team creates collaborative learning opportunities through three leadership programmes for volunteers: the Ignite, Catalyse and Peer Mentoring Programmes. These enable them to lead EduLit, EduSTEM, EduKidz and Ignite Equity clubs, alongside locally designed education projects, reaching over 10,000 students of all ages annually. About this role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic fundraising professional, with a proven track record of income generation and a strong ability to develop impactful relationships with the skills to bring aligned individuals and organisations into our long-term EduSpots community. The post holder will be creative, passionate and self-motivated, with strong marketing and communications skills, able to design and implement strategic fundraising approaches. 

In this role, you will take on responsibility for identifying, creating and delivering impactful fundraising strategies that enable us to generate further relationships and income in support of our programmes. 

You will oversee the development of our individual giving and monthly giving strategies and further develop relationships with schools, corporate organisations and NGOs, with a focus on resource acquisition (e.g. books, electronic devices) alongside fundraising. You will also play a supportive role in events and campaigns, and work closely with our Head of Communications to ensure our marketing and communications strategy is integrated with our fundraising aims. Currently, we already have a trusts and foundations manager, but would welcome applicants with experience of trust fundraising.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

The key responsibilities of this role are to:

• Develop our individual giving and monthly giving strategies, including:

  • Ensuring we have the right tools in place.

  • Strengthening thanking and communications to existing supporters.

  • Trialling new strategies for outreach to new audiences.

• Organise occasional fundraising events (e.g. face-to-face events in London; virtual events and fundraising challenges).

• Support organisation and delivery of appeals and campaigns (e.g. the Big Give).

• Support the development of impactful relationships with schools, universities, corporates and NGOs for fundraising and resource acquisition (e.g. books, digital devices, science equipment). 

• If time and experience, possibly support grant applications. 

• Line manage, and provide support to, the intern/s (fundraising).

Skills, Experience and Attributes

Essential

• Proven track record of successful income generation from individuals or communities - ideally in a similar education / international development organisation 

• Experience of developing and maintaining successful income generating relationships (e.g. with schools, corporates, individuals, communities)

• Experience of digital marketing to engage new charity supporters / donors (including using paid advertising and innovative engagement techniques)

• Experience of email marketing and donor conversion strategies

• Strong communication and marketing skills, ideally with basic design skills (Canva)

• Ability to work effectively in a remote based role with minimal day-to-day support 

• Outstanding interpersonal skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to use own initiative and work to tight and competing deadlines

• Ability to effectively manage workload and prioritise tasks 

• Good IT skills - Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Canva, Social Media

Global Generation is looking for a Youth Programmes and Outreach Coordinator who is passionate about engaging young people and local communities in reaching their full potential and creating positive social and environmental change. In this role, you will co-lead on the outreach and engagement of local communities, especially with a focus on involving and recruiting young people, as well as planning and facilitation of land-based, cooking and creative workshops. You will particularly focus on working with communities in Islington as we increase our engagement initiatives towards the co-build of our permanent community garden in King’s Cross (which sits on the Islington side), due to start this summer.

Founded in 2004, we grow food, people and community for a fair and just world.

We operate in the boroughs of Camden, Islington and Southwark and work with people of all ages, particularly children and young people. Working from educational and biodiverse garden spaces such as the Story Garden and Floating Garden in King’s Cross (with a permanent community garden to be built over the next 2 years in KX) and the Paper Garden in Canada Water, we combine activities such as urban food growing, carpentry, making, cooking, and healthy eating with dialogue, storytelling, creative writing, performance and art, silence and stillness. These practices help us to create the conditions for people to come together in a fuller and more connected sense of who they are and what they are a part of and, from that space, to practically and creatively contribute to ecological and social change. 

Young people have always been and continue to be at the heart of our work. We aim to support them to develop and lead, offering progression opportunities to move from being participants to being action researchers, co-facilitators and ambassadors, to being paid fellows, staff and trustees.

This role is primarily based at the Story Garden and Floating Garden in King’s Cross (and eventually on the new garden we will be building) and working with our Islington community. You will work closely with the education & community programmes team, gardeners, chefs, volunteers and young people, running hands-on and reflective sessions for people of all ages.
 

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

The two main areas of the role are:

1. Outreach, engagement and recruitment

• Lead on the recruitment and engagement of young people throughout the year, primarily through schools, colleges, community groups, local referral agencies, and local network meetings and events

• Develop a diverse range of engaging outreach / recruitment materials, including social media content for the purposes of showcasing our work and inspiring other young people to join

• Create and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of audiences, including young people, parents, local community groups and businesses

• Inspire young people to participate via assemblies, talks, outreach workshops and follow up phone calls

• Assist young people and their parents through the sign-up process from initial expression of interest to joining our programmes, through being in regular contact in the ways that work best for young people

• Retention of young people through active engagement in person and phone calls and/or texts prior to each session

• Attend local forums, actively participate in networks of local organisations, and build relationships with organisations and local people to engage them in the co-build of the new permanent garden

2. Programme Planning, Coordination and Facilitation

• Work closely with the Youth Programmes team in planning, facilitating and evaluating sessions with young people

• Inspire and support young people to lead on their own socially and environmentally impactful projects in the local area

• Work alongside the wider Global Generation teams (kitchen, garden, natural build) and in partnership with other local organisations and businesses to enhance the opportunities available to young people

• Document and evaluate the youth programmes you are working on using creative means through a wide range of approaches, incorporating quantitative and qualitative data

• Report to funders in a range of formats depending on what is needed

• The programmes you will coordinate and co-facilitate are:

• Friday Night Out: Fortnightly after-school cooking programme (4:00-6:30pm), engaging children (8-12 year olds) in discovering the joys of seed to plate, seasonal and sustainable food, growing, harvesting and cooking their own produce. You will work alongside one of our chefs so do not need to be a chef, though an interest in sustainable food and gardening experience is desirable

• Generator programme: Regular after-school workshops and experiences for young people aged 13+,  incorporating a range of approaches and hands-on and reflective activities to support the holistic development of young people and encourage them to take social and environmental action in their communities

• Partnership with Heatherwick Studio as part of a collaborative Young Inspirers programme, linking local school children with opportunities in their studio

You will also work with the Youth & Community Team to plan and deliver community / intergenerational events and experiences that bring people of different ages together.

What we are looking for

As the Youth Programmes and Outreach Coordinator, you will be outgoing and love working and reaching out to people across backgrounds and sectors; you will be ready to take initiative, have a flexible attitude, be able to think on your feet and enjoy finding solutions when faced with challenges and change.  You will be able to communicate your passion for Global Generation’s work, the natural environment and social justice to others, particularly young people, in a creative and engaging way, responding to where people are at, and adapting your approach based on this. You will have prior experience of working with schools and finding ways to make the offer relevant to the priorities and needs of young people.

You will readily pick up the phone, follow up on emails sent, visit other organisations and schools, and offer activities in spaces where people are at.  You will love to work deeply with young people over a long period of time, finding out what engages them, building on their interests and finding ways wherever possible for them to grow, progress and lead within Global Generation and beyond.

You will have experience of actively seeking out partnerships to make our offer even more compelling, beneficial and holistic for the young people.  You will have strong project management and coordination skills, as well as planning and facilitating year long programmes, building in different ways of knowing and creative approaches so as to reach a cross-section of young people, adapting to different abilities and needs. 

Ideally you will have experience and a love of urban gardening and/or food growing and engaging people in getting their hands in the soil. You will also have an interest in action research and/or participatory approaches to learning, acting and reflecting.

1MM Regional Manager for Programme Delivery’s main tasks include:

• Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

• Meeting all quality assurance KPIs.

• Maximising conversion, retention, and mitigate drop-off

• Ongoing support for key stakeholder partners, including Youth Partners, and maintaining strong relationships.

• Securing at least one new partner per quarter.

• Becoming familiar with the 1MM Platform, using it comfortably for ongoing administration and providing support to users.

• Providing regular reports on progress related to the role.

• Potential for line-management responsibilities as the team grows.

The Fundraising Systems & Data Analysis (FSDA) team of the Development and Outreach Department of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Manager, Analytics and Insight. The Senior Analytics and Insight Manager will be responsible for instilling a data-driven and data-informed culture to make evidence-based decisions, increase efficiencies, improve overall departmental return on investment (ROI), grow new fundraising streams, and achieve long-term profitability.

The Senior Analytics and Insight Manager will generate, improve, and analyze fundraising data, both quantitative and qualitative, from internal and external sources to produce strategic information that supports data-driven and informed decisions, tactics, and strategies that consistently maximize HRW fundraising results. This role will feed into both the quarterly reforecasts and annual budget data and supporting methodology and collaborating with the Finance team as needed for the Development department.

This full-time position will ideally be based in either the United States or Europe, preferably in one of the cities where HRW has an office and will report to the Managing Director of Fundraising Systems and Data Analysis based in London. The Senior Analytics and Insight Manager will manage at least one direct report.

The successful candidate may have the option to work remotely but is expected to work from the office 1-2 times a week. We aim to be as flexible and supportive as possible in both the recruitment for and onboarding of this position.

Responsibilities:

Product Management Oversight: 

1. Provide strategic, tactical, and operational planning of all Business Intelligence (BI_ Systems and tools utilized by the Development Department;

2. Implement and build the BI structure of the Development Department, working closely with CRM (Salesforce) team and working with vendors as needed to understand the desired outcomes;

3. Partner with the Training & Support team to promote user adoption of BI reports by developing and implementing communication plans, training campaigns, and incentives to encourage staff engagement and utilization;

4. Ensure effective coordination and change management with Training & Support, CRM and Digital products, IT, and fundraising teams;

5. Act as the subject matter expert for all areas of fundraising reporting and respond to escalated queries and reporting discrepancies from Data Analysis Officer;

6. Develop project management processes to support the prioritization of all analysis, data selection, integration, and reporting requests, ensuring the briefing processes are understood and developing a Service Level Agreement (SLA) framework as needed; and

Data, Analysis and Reporting:

1. Support the development and implementation of the long-term data and insight strategy for HRW which improves data quality, deepens the department’s institutional memory, and aligns with the broader HRW data strategy;

2. Develop and present actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and business intelligence from analytical output to support strategic decisions for the Development team and on investments and benchmarking activities;

3. Deliver the data and insight strategy including activity reporting, financial forecasting, specialist report development, and ad hoc analysis projects and data selections, to increase understanding of activity, supporter and financial trends and making recommendations to leadership to deliver improvements;

4. Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create data selections including recommendations on which are the best targets for direct marketing campaigns, create segments according to strategically determined criteria, data model, and develop testing plans to yield statistically significant results;

5. Work with the Fundraising Systems and Data Analysis Managing Director to build tools and reports that allow for both the forecast and budget revenue projections to be provided with ease. Create multi-year fundraising projections per main channel and audience using historical data, statistical modelling techniques, and new initiatives;

6. Collaborate with the Finance team around both the production and validation of financial reporting, including budgeting, reforecasting, and income reporting in general for the Development D Ensure that the Marketing coding / attribution processes are clearly documented and any exceptions tracked with the Revenue Operations teams;

7. Ensure that the expenditure budget for the Development Department is managed and reported on effectively, capturing the planned spending across the different teams within the department, including reporting on the actuals and investigating any variances with finance and the budget holders as needed; and

8. Ensure that the Leadership Gift data reporting can occur, through development of advanced visualizations including dashboards and ensure that hygiene initiatives are followed by supporting both the Data Quality and Integrations Officer and Relationship Manage Work with Finance on the monthly reconciliation processes.

Leadership, Training, & Support:

1. Lead improvement projects that shape the department’s effectiveness, efficiency and data-driven decision making;

2. Serve as subject matter expert to both the CRM and Digital Product Managers as they proactively assess users’ evolving system needs, priorities, capacity, and workflows, and ensure reporting needs are well articulated to inform future technology enhancements; and

3. Teach and mentor Data Analyst and Data Integrations staff to grow their capabilities within the fundraising CRM, data, and operations field.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in nonprofit fundraising and marketing, preferably in a global INGO context with country-specific fundraising operations, is highly desirable.

Refocus is an early intervention domestic abuse programme designed to tackle those at risk of committing domestic abuse towards a partner. The programme closely supports victims and intervenes early in more cases where a partner is identified as displaying abusive or potentially abusive behaviour.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator within one of our Crime Reduction Teams based in Merseyside. The aim of this project is to support and signpost individuals who meet relevant criteria and show a motivation to change after being identified as being at potential risk of committing low level Domestic Abuse. A key element of this project is that it is survivor focused and looks to address abusive behaviours at their source, at an early intervention phase, via support and education. This means working with both those who have carried out such acts and those who have been made subject to them.

The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality service, constantly focused on achieving positive outcomes for every service user through effective management, training and the development of this crime reduction team across Merseyside, ensuring all service users have a person centred, trauma informed plan, that outlines the goals and targets that the service uses, Navigators and Advocates agree to work toward. You will be working in an agile and responsive team environment and be part of the team providing support and pathways to those who have experienced domestic abuse and work with people displaying potentially abusive or coercive behaviours (perpetrators), offering education and support to promote long term change

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the coordination of service user support including referrals, assessments, person-centred support plans, dynamic risk assessments, issue reports, and exits.
• To oversee line management of a team of navigators and advocates working across the county of Merseyside.
