About the role
The Engagement & Outreach Service Manager will lead the development and implementation of this service, combining previous work from CIT and Wellbeing teams, as well as managing a team of Outreach Workers and Complex Needs Case Workers. About the role
The Senior Case Worker will work as part of the SPOT Navigator team based alongside the Southwark SPOT Street Outreach team. The aim is to support a known cohort of clients who are stuck within the cycles of homeless and ill-health and have not been able to sustain a stable life outside of this.
This will be achieved through strength-based assessment, using creative engagement techniques and co-producing action plans aimed at linking clients with services and community groups. Your work will improve health outcomes for clients and promote harm reduction by working alongside specialist partner agencies. You will be working with clients on the streets in an outreach capacity or in various types of accommodation.
In this role you will:
- Work in partnership with local authorities, accommodation services, statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure that clients transition away from the streets and into the appropriate accommodation with the correct support in place.
- Manage a caseload of clients experiencing multiple disadvantage who may not have stayed in stable accommodation for long periods of time.
- Have a great opportunity to assist people to change their lives meaningfully for the better.
In this non-shift role, you will work mainly within normal office hours Monday – Friday, however, on occasion you may be asked to work flexibly and conduct early or late shifts starting at 6am or ending at 3am. For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

The St Mungo’s Pan London Rough Sleeping Teams (No Second Night Out and Somewhere Safe to Stay) provide a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough. We are currently looking for people to join our teams as Night Assessment Workers in our No Second Night Out Assessment Hubs. In these roles you will:

Work as part of a busy team environment working closely with those affected by rough sleeping.

Provide a safe and supportive environment at night to clients; carrying out assessment when clients first arrive out the service.

Work on a 7 day weekly night rota pattern with an average of 3 waking night shifts in a row (for example 8pm–8.30am or 9pm–8am)
About you

We are hiring! We have a job vacancy for an Early Intervention Project Worker to join Shine.
Shine has a membership of over 14,000 members living with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus and associated conditions and over 6,500 associated members.
Our Little Stars project for 0–12-year-olds has been established for over 5 years supporting younger members and their families with their diagnosis and beyond. We also have a growing Teen membership known as FIRE (Friendship, Independence, Resilience, Equality) Working alongside our multi skilled, established team, you will be supporting members across all age groups and building on the great foundations already in place.
We are looking for an Early Intervention Project Worker who can cover the South of England, primarily you will be home based, supporting members through phone calls and using online platforms. You will be required to attend clinics, events and meet members one to one where necessary within your allocated area and occasionally across wider areas and nationally.
Purpose of the role

To deliver Shine's Little Stars (funded by The National Lottery Community Fund) project for 0–12-year-olds, supporting early years and younger members with their families, their diagnosis and beyond across the Southern Region. To provide advice, support and guidance to enable people with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus to access the correct benefits to become financially stable, the right services to improve their health and well-being, and to better co-ordinate their support and independence through a variety of methods.

To improve the life wellbeing of children 0-12 years old with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus by promoting independence and providing them and their families with early intervention support.

To create a community whereby those affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus can connect with others, are empowered through knowledge and feel confident in the support networks surrounding them.

XLP is a vibrant youth work charity dedicated to shaping bright futures for young people. Leading the charge against poverty and educational failure in inner London, we offer holistic, long-term support to 11 to 25 year olds in both schools and communities.
Our buses act as Mobile Youth Centres and provide a unique and rare platform to engage with young people on a weekly basis. They enable a team of experienced youth workers to provide a range of services for young people. Whether table tennis or trivial pursuit, cooking or competitions, games consoles or group discussions, FIFA or Forza, we use our buses to help London’s young people create their positive future. We pride ourselves on being able to provide a safe and consistent environment where young people can grow. We use mobile youth centres to offer them further opportunities to gain new experiences and develop their skills, helping them create their positive futures.
We’re looking for a youth worker who’ll also be responsible for driving one of our buses to and from projects. The role reports directly to the Youth Work Manager - Outreach and work closely with the area based Senior Youth Workers.
There are two roles. South East serves Lewisham and Greenwich. East serves Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham.
