Women and Girls Network’s (WGN) Administration & Bookings Officers (ABO) have day-to-day responsibility for coordinating the bookings for all of our clinical services. They contribute towards the delivery of high-quality therapeutic work through the provision of an empathetic, efficient, and comprehensive service, ensuring that all referral/booking-related matters are administered effectively. This is achieved by working closely and consulting with various managers about any potential barriers to service provision and regarding complex and/or highly sensitive cases. This role is primarily focused on our Rape Crisis and Ascent Counselling Services and also includes providing occasional cover and support for other WGN services.

ABOs act as a key point of contact for the charity and ensure WGN’s centers are welcoming, supportive, and calm environments for all users. About you
You will bring strong expertise in finance systems, with the ability to translate technical functionality into solutions that align with organisational goals. You should be a proactive problem-solver, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively across teams, and committed to driving continuous improvement.

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of system accounting experience.
- Significant experience with Unit4 ERPx or other ERP finance systems, particularly in a post-implementation context. Knowledge of Avalara and Proactis is beneficial.
- Ability to combine technical system knowledge with financial context to deliver business-focused solutions.
- Highly proficient in Excel and other data handling tools, with strong analytical skills.
- Proven experience managing multiple, complex programs of work in a demanding environment, with the ability to prioritize effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of working across departmental and hierarchical boundaries.
- Experience in driving quality and performance improvement through data-driven metrics and reporting.
- A track record of leading high-performing support teams, encouraging career development, and managing performance.

What you’ll focus on:

- Lead the administration and optimization of Unit4 ERPx, ensuring that finance processes are efficient, compliant, and effective.
- Translate finance and technical requirements into clear, actionable system changes.
- Manage system issues and enhancements, collaborating with Unit4 Support and internal stakeholders to quickly resolve challenges.
- Oversee data integrity, controls, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop reports and dashboards to drive insight, accountability, and informed decision-making across the organisation.
- Support, coach, and lead the Systems Officers, promoting high performance, learning, and professional growth within the team.
- Build trusted relationships with senior finance colleagues and external suppliers to maximize system capabilities.

We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. The third is leading outreach with schools, colleges, community settings and professionals to identify and engage hidden Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). Flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

• Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable groups 

• Experience facilitating groups or activties

About the role:

Our Women’s Respite is a vital service that provides safety, stability, and support for women with complex needs – from those escaping domestic abuse to those facing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use, and trauma. 

As a Specialist Complex Needs Worker, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of women who have experienced violence against women and girls (VAWG). Working within our accommodation service, you will support clients facing multiple disadvantage, ranging from complex needs to medium and lower levels of support, always tailoring your approach to each individual. This is a role where gender-informed and trauma-informed practice is at the heart of everything you do, ensuring that each client is met with understanding, dignity and a pathway towards safety and stability. You will work closely with external partners and attend multi-agency forums such as MARAC, helping to reduce harm, open up opportunities and ensure every woman feels safe enough to take their next step forward.

Your days will be as varied as they are impactful, one moment you may be facilitating a conversation to encourage engagement in training or education, the next you could be connecting someone with specialist mental health or substance use services, arranging access to primary healthcare or building confidence through meaningful activities within the hostel. Every interaction is an opportunity to empower clients to sustain their accommodation, improve wellbeing, strengthen community connections and move towards independence.

About you:

• Experience supporting women with complex needs, including those who have experienced VAWG, homelessness, mental health issues, or substance use.
• A person-centred approach, using harm minimisation and recovery principles.
• Creativity, flexibility, and resilience in engaging clients who may be hard to reach.
