In this role, you will be managed by Emily Thomas. A fundraiser for over fifteen years, Emily has worked at charities including Brooke, National Trust and the Wildlife Trust. Prior to joining ClientEarth in 2018, Emily was part of the development team at London's Natural History Museum where she worked on the Hintze Hall transformation capital campaign and launch activity. As Associate Director, Philanthropy, Emily manages the global philanthropy team and works alongside external stakeholders and a Development Board to secure income and connections for the organisation.

Role requirements

• Significant fundraising management experience in Asia with demonstrable experience of securing five and six figure, and multi year gifts  
• Experience in multiple elements of fundraising including identifying and building supporter bases in new geographies and working with different types of fundraising teams (e.g. philanthropic/HNWIs, trusts and foundations)
• Experience of working in a global team, working across multiple time zones and understanding / experience of working in a matrix style
• Experience of working with senior internal and external stakeholders, to build networks, deliver income and raise organisation profiles
• Ability to represent ClientEarth externally to high value funders and other senior stakeholders.

About the role

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Senior Participant Experience Manager to join on a part-time basis, working 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE) as part of a job share. This is a fixed-term contract until the end of October 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful Events team, co-leading our 7-person Participant Experience team. Working closely with the other Senior Participant Experience Manager, you’ll be jointly responsible for identifying and delivering strategic projects and multi-channel supporter journeys to improve the supporter experience for all events participants, resulting in maximised income, retention and lifetime value.

You and your team will work across the Events team, adding value to our participants’ experience across our full range of products, from sign up to thanking and beyond. About you
We’re looking for a strategic thinker who has a strong background in stewardship and customer experience with an understanding of the charity sector.

London Borough of Westminster

This is an exciting opportunity in the Westminster Outreach and Befriending Service for a Family and Volunteer Support Worker to deliver family support and volunteer peer service to families and children under the age of 5, new parents and their families, across the London Borough of Westminster.

This service provides a programme of support for pregnant women and parents/carers which includes face-to-face befriending in the home and community as well as support by phone and video. The aim of the programme is to increase the resilience and emotional wellbeing of parents who are experiencing isolation and require emotional/practical support.  

The Family and Volunteer Support Worker will work closely with the Team Leader and volunteers as well as the wider Westminster Outreach Service. The team works closely in partnership with Children’s Centres/Family Hubs, midwifery, health teams and mental health services.  You must be able and willing to travel regularly around London Borough of Westminster.
