About the role

The Communications Manager is essential in driving delivery of our ambitious programme of work, with the communications team centrally located to work in partnership with our colleagues across all directorates and nations. Working closely with the Head of Communications and Marketing, key activities include supporting the updating of our content management system across three websites; rolling out a new marketing function within our CRM; and working with colleagues to ensure all digital marketing activity is integrated, value for money, agile by design and delivers against our strategic priorities. The role line-manages four direct reports.

We are looking for someone to bring demonstrable experience and dynamism to the team, and who will make evident to colleagues the value of coordinated communication strategies and plans in achieving our organisational objectives. You will understand the opportunities created in testing new channels and approaches to reach audiences; be creative with communications plans and deliverables; and see the importance of tracking content performance against agreed KPIs.

About Khulisa: 

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime.

Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we also work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester. 

About the role: 

The purpose of this role is to build and manage Khulisa's high-impact partnerships with schools, communities, and corporates that generate income and expand the reach of our therapeutic programmes. This includes, but is not limited to: 

• Identifying, initiating, cultivating and managing relationships with schools, Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), Local Authorities
• Working closely with Khulisa's Head of Programmes and Participation to develop, implement and regularly review our schools engagement plan
• Developing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners to generate financial support, sponsorships, and other forms of engagement
• Maintaining a record of and report on partnership pipelines, engagement outcomes, and income forecasts and actuals

The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel to various locations across the London and the North West as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the role and to engage with stakeholders and colleagues.

What we're looking for:

Abilities/Experience 

• Experience of generating new partnership engagements from schools and/or other youth spaces and to secure their participation in social impact projects where resources are pooled.
• Ability to identify new opportunities for partnerships and initiate engagements, including knowing when to bring in senior colleagues to maximise the chance of success.
• Experience of manage multiple and diverse stakeholder groups, to recognise shared values, and secure commitment to joint-working.
• Experience of creating compelling digital presentations for a variety of audiences, using PowerPoint or similar software. • Ability to buy strongly into strategic objectives and reflect passion for Khulisa’s work with young people.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as the job requires, and to travel.
• Commitment to inclusive, wellbeing-led approach to supporting young people.

Knowledge/Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and to engage others in a compelling manner to securer their ongoing interest.
• Deep understanding of the education sector, secondary schools in particular, and the factors that could contribute to young people becoming excluded or marginalised.
• Sound knowledge of the various stakeholders in the education sector, including the complexities of building relationships with multi-academy trusts and understanding of the relationship between schools and local authorities.
• Good understanding of the realities of delivery to young people and able to build the knowledge base necessary to engage others convincingly on the effectiveness of therapeutic practices in ensuring young people’s wellbeing.
• Advanced knowledge of safeguarding legislations, policies and practices relating to children and young people.

About us!

At Sharewear Clothing Scheme, our mission is to provide free clothing and bedding to people in need. As a registered charity, Sharewear Clothing Scheme has been working to alleviate clothing poverty by providing emergency clothing and bedding to those that need it across the East Midlands, South Yorkshire and surrounding areas since we opened our doors in March 2014. In that time, we have reached well over 20,000 people in need of our support. We operate in two ways, both on a referral basis, and an outreach basis. As a result of this model, we believe at Sharewear that we are the space where clothing poverty meets clothing waste. Our ultimate goal is to roll out our tried-and-tested model on a national scale and alleviate clothing poverty across the UK.

About the Role

Position: Fundraising & Development Manager

Location: Hybrid working between remote and from our base in Edwalton, Nottingham. This role may require some require flexible working, such as attending events that may be in evenings or weekends.

Hours: 25 hours per week (part-time), across Monday to Thursday

Salary: £32,000 pro rata per annum

Strategic Income Generation: 

• Liaise with the Board to develop a multi-year income generation strategy aligned to Sharewear’s goals, ensuring a sustainable income from individual, corporate, legacy and trust donations, and  development of new income streams to enable growth.

Fundraising: 

• Oversee and deliver fundraising activities across individual giving, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, major donors, events and community fundraising.

• Write compelling and creative funding applications and partnership proposals to secure financial support. Work closely with the operations team in supporting funding applications and pitches where appropriate to bring funders closer to our work. 

• To inspire a culture of fundraising across the charity. Support staff and volunteers in promoting digital and social media engagement of fundraising. 

Develop Sustainable Relationships: 

• Represent the charity externally with stakeholders, networks, and partners, ensuring impactful storytelling and donor engagement, including in-person meetings, providing representation at events and in the media.

Business Development:

• Identify new income opportunities

• Confidence using social media to promote the organisation and it’s fundraising events, look for new opportunities and identify, research and contact potential supporters. 

• To undertake other duties as required commensurate with this post, such as travel as necessary for events and fundraising activities.

Essential Skills and Experience

• An experienced corporate or trust fundraiser, with a strong track record of securing funding, particularly from trusts and grants.

• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with experience of relationship management within philanthropy, or a business development or client account management role. 

• Ability to think commercially - identifies and progresses opportunities for funding / organisational growth, innovation and collaborative working. 

• Experience in using social media and website platforms to promote fundraising activities.

The Role 
 
As Deputy Shop Manager at our new shop in Scarborough, initially, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in setting up our new shop, recruiting volunteers, and making plans to ensure the shop is ready to open. You will then ensure the smooth running of the shop long-term. 

You will manage the day-to-day operation of the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager, including managing a team of volunteers, ensuring accurate accounting and handling of assets, delivering high standards of customer service, and adhering to all charity policies and procedures. You will lead by example and ensure that volunteers, supporters, donors, and customers understand how their contributions are making a difference to the lives of people in Yorkshire and beyond. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Play an active part in running our shop in Scarborough, supporting the Shop Manager in implementing processes and ways of working.

• Provide cover for days off, holidays and sickness as required, with possible occasional travel to other shops to provide support if needed by the charity. 

• Support the Shop Manager to maximise the income and profit of the shop through active stock management, replenishment, and rotation. 

• Manage a team of well-trained volunteers in the absence of the Shop Manager and take every effort to create a positive retail environment. 

• Support the Shop Manager to ensure accurate accounting and handling of assets (items donated and money received). 

• Support the Shop Manager to ensure accurate record keeping of items donated and the amount paid for each item for Gift Aid tax reclaim purposes. 

• Create a welcoming professional atmosphere and deliver high standards of customer service for all customers and supporters. 

 
About You 

To be considered for this role, you will need: 

• To ideally be educated to GCSE level or equivalent but not essential.

• Experience of managing people/volunteers including recruitment and development.

• To be highly organised with good time management skills.

• To be able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

• To be able to use own initiative.

• To be resilient and adaptable to change. 

• To have good planning, guiding and motivation skills to successfully achieve targeted income is desirable.

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Predominantly London based, working across multiple sites in the inner and outer London area. This role includes on site visits, including to some services which may not have step free access. There is also work from home available.

Salary: £55,000

About the role

This is a new and exciting opportunity within SIG to take the lead on delivering the strategic expansion of our services. You will assess our current criminal justice services and ensure our new services align well to the success of our current services, leading and coordinating the end-to-end planning and implementation, leading on:

• Ensuring the process of mobilisation aligns with strategic objectives and contributes to long-term organisational growth and service excellence.
• Oversight and coordination multiple interrelated projects, including but not limited to property mobilisation, decamp of existing services, building renovations, staffing, and service readiness.
• Development and maintenance of a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and risk registers.
• Monitoring and management of project related risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
• Management of the agreed organisational staffing design plan to achieve adequate and safe staffing teams to deliver contract specifications.
• Decision making for staffing choices, consultation outcomes, hiring decisions, and other areas in relation to staffing for the new services

About you

We're looking for an experienced project manager with experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system and the services within it. You will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage the set up and running of new services. You will have an understanding of what we stand for as a charity and have alignment to help us meet our mission and objectives. We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in project/programme management, ideally in public sector or voluntary sector
• Proven experience in delivering complex, multi-site projects which involve property, service mobilisation, and stakeholder engagement
• Previous experience and a good understanding of Criminal Justice Services
• Ability to manage projects from planning, execution, and oversight of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
• Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment, without compromising on deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to encourage positive outcomes
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and compliance in a residential or criminal justice service environment
• Proactiveness in making decisions to deal with challenges and providing a solution focused approach using initiative

Job Purpose

The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Key Responsibilities

Programme and Network Delivery:

- Support the planning and delivery of programmes and networks, including scheduling dates, organising training sessions, and other activities.

- Support the organisation and delivery of programme-specific and national events.

- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including resolving operational issues and escalating as needed.

- Provide year-round support to local Hub Managers to ensure schools receive necessary support.

Recruitment and Retention:

- Support year-round recruitment of schools to the Network of Excellence, working with hubs to deliver introductory events.

- Manage leads within your hubs, connecting schools with local hubs and Jubilee Networks.

As an experienced professional with a proven track record in learning and development, and management, you will be part of a Learning Network (LN), within the Ministries and Learning team and part of the Connexional Team of The Methodist Church.

The LN comprises 30+ staff working as part of a single team operating across the Methodist Church in Britain. The team is strategically and collaboratively managed by Learning and Development Managers (LDMs), each having responsibility for a number of Learning and Development Officers (LDO) working within a geographical area. We are seeking to recruit an LDM for the Cymru Wales, West Midlands and South West area. There is a requirement to live within this geography that includes the Methodist districts: Wales Synod Cymru, West Midlands (following the merger of the current Birmingham District and the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District on 1st September 2025), Southampton, Channel Islands, Bristol, and South West Peninsular.

Responsibilities of the Learning Development Manager include:

• strategic shared leadership of the LN
