Job description

Senior Analyst – UK Portfolio
Location: London, UK
Salary: £42,800–£47,000
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Closing Date: 24th September 2025

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Senior Analyst to join our UK Portfolio team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and mission-driven organisation that uses philanthropic grants to catalyse action on air pollution and climate change.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering Clean Air Fund’s mission by supporting and managing a portfolio of grants and projects in the UK. You’ll work across teams to:

  • Design, manage, monitor and evaluate impactful programmes and initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with grantees, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform strategy and fundraising.
  • Stay up to date with developments in UK air quality, policy, and innovation.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team, contributing to real-world change in air quality and public health.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in project or grant management, ideally in the non-profit or philanthropic sector.
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, or air quality issues in the UK.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A proactive, flexible and resilient approach to working in a growing organisation.

We’re especially interested in candidates who are confident networkers, able to build relationships at events and across sectors, even where formal partnerships don’t yet exist.

Our Culture

At Clean Air Fund, we’re guided by purpose and grounded in evidence. Our culture combines clear structures and rigorous frameworks with space for fresh thinking and collaboration across diverse perspectives. We value curiosity, openness, and a shared commitment to making a measurable difference.

As an employer, we are committed to ensuring the representation of people from all backgrounds regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, returning parents, carers or any other aspect which makes them unique. We particularly welcome applicants from under-represented groups to apply and would encourage you to let us know if there are steps we can take to ensure that the recruitment process enables you to present yourself in a way that makes you comfortable. We are committed to ensuring the safety and protection of our employees from all forms of harm.

For more information on this role, including the full person specification, please see the job description.
