The Programme and Impact Manager oversees the delivery and development of Kinetic Foundation’s partner-funded programmes and workshops, focusing on personal development activities, community programmes, and impact recording and reporting, ensuring robust data management and safeguarding compliance.This dynamic role requires a flexible, organised individual passionate about youth development and social mobility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Personal Development Activities 

• Manage, implement, and evaluate partner-funded programmes and workshops to enhance participants’ social-emotional skills, resilience, and employability. 

• Coordinate with external deliverers, funding partners and schools to schedule and deliver workshops for 16-19-year-olds. 

• Manage programme budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure cost-effective delivery in collaboration with partners. 

• Ensure workshops address barriers to success aligning with the Foundation’s impact framework. 

Community 

• Oversee HAF programmes, to support recruitment and awareness of the charity in KS3 and KS4. 

• Manage food deliveries, staffing, budget awareness etc. for HAF programmes as well as completing the end of delivery reports and evaluations required. 

• Communicate with participants, parents/carers, schools, and stakeholders to promote programme accessibility and engagement. 

• Maintain and update the CRM and master calendar to ensure all community programme events and opportunities are scheduled and communicated effectively. 

Impact Recording and Data Management 

• Oversee the collection, cleaning, and analysis of programme data to ensure robust, GDPR-compliant records of participation, outcomes, and impact. 

• Conduct pre- and post-intervention monitoring and exit route tracking to measure long-term impacts, such as transitions to employment, training, or university. 

• Develop quantitative and qualitative reports to communicate impact to funders, senior management, and trustees, using data visualisation techniques where possible. 

• Implement the Kinetic Impact Framework across all programmes to ensure consistent evaluation and continuous improvement. 

• Work alongside the COO to keep CRM up to date with participant numbers on the programme.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of youth unemployment, NEET status, and social mobility trends to inform programme design and reporting. 

Team Collaboration and Management 

• Manage the Youth Engagement Officer through weekly meetings, ensuring alignment with programme goals and participant needs. 

• Collaborate with the COO, marketing, and fundraising teams to align programme delivery with organisational objectives and funding requirements. 

• Support the wider team by attending events and opportunities linked to Kinetic Futures and community programmes, ensuring high attendance and engagement. 

Safeguarding – Kinetic Futures 

• Ensure all programmes, workshops, and events comply with the Foundation’s safeguarding policies, including DBS checks and training requirements. 

• Ensure risk assessments and all relevant trip packs are created for any external visits in good time so they can get signed off. 

• Work with the COO to support safeguarding procedures, coordinating to address concerns promptly. 

• Maintain a visible presence at schools and programme sites to promote a culture of safety and accountability. 

Person Specification  

Essential Skills and Experience 

• Passion for the Kinetic Foundation’s vision and mission, with an understanding of the challenges faced by disadvantaged young people in London. 

• Experience managing youth-focused programmes, ideally in education, employability, or sports settings. 

• Proven project management skills, with the ability to implement and evaluate programmes and manage budgets effectively. 

• Knowledge of working in school environments, particularly with KS3, KS4, or post-16 education settings. 

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM systems for event and data management. 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage diverse stakeholders, including funders, schools, and participants.

Purpose of the Role

The role of the Project Officer – Legal Services (POLS) is to support the PBLS team’s mission to advance the UN SDGs by brokering pro bono legal assistance from legal experts in support of international NGOs globally. The POLS will do this by coordinating the internal processes for project sourcing, scoping and allocating, and utilising legal expertise within these processes and when providing external training and communications.

A key focus of this role is to source and scope out the weekly pro bono projects and forms. The POLS will also engage law firms and other legal stakeholders, conduct due diligence, allocate projects, maintain project records, gather feedback, prepare internal reports and external communications and undertake other administrative tasks as necessary (e.g. updating software and implementing process changes). Other key responsibilities include assisting the PBLM with any bespoke projects, assisting with training events for Development Partners on relevant legal topics, and engaging key Legal or Development Partners on any specific areas of legal interest or need.

The Role

Neighbourhood Network Schemes (NNS) are responsible for building community capacity and developing a clear view of the existing community infrastructure and then building connections between assets, statutory organisations and local people. Edgbaston is one of 10 designated Localities in Birmingham. The purpose of NNS is to ensure that citizens over 50 and adults with additional needs can access community support, improving their wellbeing and quality of life. This is achieved through identifying, supporting and developing the community offer provided by individuals, groups, organisations, services and places in the constituency (we often refer to these collectively as “assets”).

Having moved on from the initial phase which was to map the area and build relationships this is now a role that is more about maintaining those relationships and increasing the capacity of these assets.  However, there will always be a need to promote the NNS to new audiences and ensure knowledge of the area remains current so the role will continue to include developing networks and stakeholder engagement.

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and empathy with a range of client groups.

You will have:

• A minimum of 2 years working in an engagement or community development role with diverse community settings with statutory and third sector organisations
• Recent experience of working with community/grassroots organisations
• An understanding of information sharing, consent and confidentiality issues and risks
• Experience and understanding of the importance of equalities, diversity and inclusion
• An understanding of the lived experience of individuals from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQIA+ communities and those living with disability/additional needs

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic communicator to help raise Creekside’s profile and connect with a growing, diverse audience. As a key member of our small team, you’ll lead on developing and delivering our communications strategy—bringing our mission to life across social media, our website, and other platforms.

This part-time role blends strategic thinking with hands-on content creation and delivery. You’ll craft engaging, informative content that showcases our work and impact, reaching local communities, schools, funders, partners, and supporters.

You’ll also support outreach activities and events, helping build strong relationships and partnerships that further our mission to inspire people to connect with the wonder of urban wildlife.

This is a part time role (15 hours per week) and flexible working arrangements will be considered and discussed at interview. There may be some evening and weekend commitments for which TOIL is given.

Full Time Salary: £30,000 per annum, pro rata. Other benefits include 22 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays and a Christmas closure period, and 3% employer pension contribution.

The Opportunity: Chief Executive Officer

This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of Oxfordshire’s sustainable food movement. As CEO, you’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering GFO’s strategic direction, strengthening our partnerships, raising funds and ensuring our work continues to drive meaningful change. You’ll lead a passionate team, represent GFO at the highest levels, and oversee the delivery of our flagship projects and campaigns.

This could be a full-time or part-time role; we believe in flexibility and welcome conversations about alternative working arrangements. The successful applicant will ideally be based within Oxfordshire and able to work from our Oxford office at least two days a week.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance strategic vision with operational oversight, stakeholder engagement, fund raising and team development.

Salary: In the region of £50,000 per annum, depending on experience (FTE)

You’ll also be our main public voice, raising our profile across Oxfordshire and nationally, and advocating for a fairer food system.

Financial Management & Resource Planning
You’ll oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure GFO’s financial sustainability, balancing ambition with responsibility. This includes working with the team to make informed decisions about staffing, project delivery, and operational priorities. .

Programme Oversight
While you won’t be managing projects day-to-day, you’ll provide strategic oversight of our key initiatives—including OxFarmtoFork and our journey toward Sustainable Food Places Gold accreditation. You’ll ensure our programmes are well-resourced, aligned with our mission, and delivering meaningful impact across the county.

Community Wealth Building & Social Enterprise Support
You’ll champion inclusive economic models that empower communities and strengthen the local food system. Supporting social enterprises and community-led initiatives will be central to your work, helping build a food economy that’s fair, resilient, and locally rooted.

Stakeholder Engagement
You’ll nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from senior contacts in local councils and national networks, to grassroots food groups and community partners. Your ability to listen, connect, and advocate will be key to building trust and driving collective action across sectors.

Since becoming a charity focused solely on campaigning in 2019, Age UK London has adopted and implemented a new strategy. We have agreed campaign priorities; successfully changed policy at a London-wide and borough level; and adapted our finance, HR and IT systems to better support a campaigning charity.

The Board is looking for a new CEO to lead the charity through the next phase of its development, creating a new strategy to guide its campaigning work making London a better city for older people and to develop a sustainable income stream.

Reports to: the Board

Key duties and responsibilities

· In conjunction with the board, lead the creation of a new strategy for the charity and develop and implement appropriate business and financial plans, with clear objectives and outcomes and to operationalise the strategy, ensuring all activities are aligned to achieve the strategy. 

· Develop and implement a new income generation strategy, including building relationships with funders, and strengthening and growing our individual giving programme to put the charity on the path to becoming financially self-sustaining.

· Work with the Campaigns Manager to continue the delivery of high quality campaigns to make London a better city for older people and position Age UK London; and ensure campaigns are grounded in evidence and the views and experiences of older Londoners.  

• Ensure that the Charity maintains relationships with all appropriate external stakeholders so that our campaigns are successful and the voices of older Londoners are heard in decision making, and to oversee the delivery of our external communications plan.
• Have overall responsibility for the lawful and efficient operation of the Charity including overseeing our outsourced finance function, governance; regulatory reporting; legal and regulatory compliance; HR, premises, insurances, IT and all other operational matters. 
• Maintain our relationships with local London Age UKs via our existing networks and regional structures.
• Ensure appropriate reporting to the board with necessary analysis, (risk/benefits/resources) clearly presented to allow the board to discharge its governance function.
• Line management of the Campaigns Manager and Marketing & Communications Officer.

Person specification

Experience

Essential 

• Experience managing the operational  and financial aspects of a small charity.
• Proven ability to build relationships with funders and secure grant income linked to campaigning activity.
• Practical senior level experience in campaigning to make sustainable change.
• Some experience of working directly with trustees is needed but this does not have to be as a CEO.

Desirable

• Experience acting as the “public face” of a campaigning organisation interfacing with the media, politicians and other stakeholders.
• Experience in the age sector.

Personal Qualities

• Strong analytical skills and commitment to evidence-based activity.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams that work together to produce clearly identified outcomes.
