This is a key role supporting the NFF team to amplify the experience of flooded people and the work of the National Flood Forum.  We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Communications & Campaigns Manager to join our team. This role will support national campaigns, amplify our key messages and activity across regions, platforms and stakeholders. You will be a key contact and will help us tell powerful stories about flooding and flooded people.

• Experience reporting on campaign performance and reach, with the ability to support teams in evaluating impact.
• Demonstrated skills in organising, planning, and supporting events—both online and in person—to help regional teams effectively share their work.

Media & External Relations

• Identify and cultivate relationships with the media, write press releases and media materials and identify case studies or spokespeople.
• Build strong working relationships with community flood groups to help them share their stories in the media.
• Monitor media coverage and engage with media opportunities aligned with NFF’s mission.

Internal Communications & Capacity Building

• Work with the leader team to manage the internal communications and support staff with templates, messaging guidance, and digital tools.
• Produce and distribute the internal newsletter, gathering updates and impact stories from teams and regional staff.
• Support staff and volunteers with communications training and briefings to build confidence and skills.

Knowledge Management & Brand Consistency

• Keep internal communication and campaign assets up to date.
• Feed insights from staff and communities into the improvement of communication tools and templates.
• Work to ensure consistent branding and accessibility across all channels.

Day-to-Day Activities

· You will create content for a variety of audiences and stakeholders in a number of different formats  

· Working with colleagues you will drive forward and support social media management

The opportunity

The Partnerships Lead will act as Project Manager for the community strand of Together for Tomorrow, a five-year National Lottery-funded programme supporting grassroots climate action across Devon. Working in close partnership with Libraries Unlimited, you will coordinate delivery across libraries and grassroots groups, supporting communities to develop practical climate initiatives and helping libraries become active sustainability hubs.

You will lead on toolkits, training plans, outreach and focus groups, while also supporting monitoring and reporting. The role blends strategic coordination with hands-on delivery, ensuring the programme is inclusive, locally rooted, and aligned across all partners.

This role sits within the CAG (Community Action Groups) Devon team, a network that supports community groups to take action on reuse, repair, food waste, composting, biodiversity and wider sustainability issues. CAG provides the tools groups need to thrive, including training, resources, and opportunities to connect with others.

What you will be doing

Project, people and partnership management

• Acting as project manager for the community strand of Together for Tomorrow, overseeing planning, coordination, and delivery.
• Building and maintaining partnerships with libraries, grassroots groups, and underrepresented communities.
• Recruiting and line managing the Project Officer, who will be supporting project delivery. Working closely with the CAG Devon team to align community support and delivery models across the network.

Community development and delivery

• Helping new community groups to form and supporting existing ones to grow, diversify, or expand their climate action work.
• Facilitating focus groups and community consultations to shape project delivery and ensure activity is insight-led.
• Delivering a targeted promotion and outreach plan, with a focus on ‘deep dive’ areas and engaging underrepresented communities.

Reporting and learning

• Contributing to the development and implementation of the project’s monitoring and evaluation framework.
• You will lead on monitoring and quarterly reporting (including financial), ensuring that CAG team and wider community partners meet agreed targets.
• Acting as an ambassador for the project, sharing insights and learning to support continuous improvement and knowledge exchange across the sector.
• Carrying out any other duties required of the role.

Sex Education Forum was founded in 1987 and became an independent charity in 2021. We convene over 70 Partner organisations, working together to make sure that the relationships and sex education (RSE) young people get is right for them. We influence national policy, are a respected voice in the media and contribute to ground-breaking research on RSE. The Role: 
•    Develop a regional communications and engagement plan that identifies opportunities aimed at generating new supporters for the Trust - raising our profile, creating opportunities to raise additional income and delivering high quality engagement and volunteering.

Role Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented and enthusiastic Trusts and Statutory Fundraiser to join a high performing and friendly fundraising team.

As a key member of the Trusts and Grants Team, the Trusts and Statutory Fundraiser will work closely with the Head of Trusts and Grants to raise funds from a portfolio of charitable trusts in accordance with Child Bereavement UK’s budgets and targets.

We are looking for someone with proven experience of generating income from trusts and foundations.

You will have:

• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write researched, powerful and compelling copy
• Excellent research skills to identify prospective funders
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience working with commissions is desirable but not essential

This role comes at a particularly important time for CBUK when the charity is looking to evolve and grow services, diversify into new areas, and raise significant funds for ongoing work. The Trusts & Grants Team are a vital part of the charity’s expansion into new areas, and the post-holder will have the opportunity to work with frontline staff to develop new projects and bids.

About the role: 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Learning Content Specialist to join our Sector Support team.
