The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, Safelives, and Social Finance is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. They work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting challenging and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together they have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. They also work to advocate for systems and policy change - to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.

About the Role

As a Case Manager you will strive to make contact and work on a one-one basis with perpetrators to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. To do this you will work alongside existing agencies to design a co-ordinated, intervention plan, addressing identified needs and risk, and promoting understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours.

You will work closely with the IDVA's (integrated partner support) to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved. You will be passionate and committed to working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need service users. This may be within the field of domestic abuse and /or mental health, substance misuse and offending.

This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. All client related travel will be reimbursed.

BIAS’s welfare and housing advice service supports members of the local Irish community and beyond with a range of complex issues, including disability benefits, pensions, Universal Credit, Irish passports, homelessness, rehousing, tenancy sustainment and disrepair. We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic person who has a background or demonstrable interest in advice, welfare or housing to join our friendly advice team. Your role will involve contributing to the establishment, expansion and day-to-day running of BIAS’s advice service in Haringey borough, providing specialist advice on welfare and housing via one-to-one client appointments, completing casework and advocating for positive outcomes for your clients.

You will need to have strong people skills and the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, clients and partners, an aptitude for working independently, excellent organisational skills and the ability to digest complex briefs. You will be required to manage an active caseload, ensuring that cases are appropriately actioned and recorded and that deadlines are met. You will work with the Advice Services Manager to build and develop the new advice service in Haringey, ensuring that we replicate our excellent quality of service, strong record of positive outcomes and loyal client base.

KEY WORK AREAS AND MAIN DUTIES

• Contributing to monitoring service delivery and recording client outcomes.

These are the basic duties required of the Welfare and Housing Adviser. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. We will also offer training opportunities to support your career development.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This role will be based in our advice venues in  Haringey[1], with some presence required at our main office in Willesden and some options for flexible working (i.e. one or two days per week).

[1] BIAS is currently running its Haringey advice services from the Hornsey Vale Community Centre, with plans to expand into additional venues in the borough later in 2025.

BIAS is a local charity which has supported England’s largest Irish community in Brent for over forty-five years. We deliver our support through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. We raise over £2 million in extra income for the most vulnerable every year and have over 3000 attendances at our club services. BIAS has exciting plans for further expansion and has a range of medium- to long-term grant funding, including from Ireland’s Emigrant Support Programme.

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes across a number of prisons. To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the west midlands region who is able to travel to cover sites in the wider area too. Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the Central region, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the region including possible overnight stays.

This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed. Libraries Unlimited is seeking two motivated and dynamic Climate Community Outreach Officers to help deliver of our Together for Tomorrow initiative – an ambitious five-year project funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and in partnership with Resource Futures.

Together for Tomorrow aims to empower communities across Devon to take meaningful, sustainable action to address climate change while improving wellbeing and social cohesion. From repair cafes and community fridges to sustainable gardening and outreach to under-represented groups, this project puts people and place at the heart of climate resilience.

This is a permanent position, supported by National Lottery funding for an initial 5-year period. We are committed to the long-term vision for this post, recognising that libraries play an important role in empowering communities to take steps in climate action, and are committed to exploring further funding to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project.

Our client is dedicated to supporting life-changing research, treatment and care for patients across a large and diverse population. The hospital is one of the biggest and busiest in the country, primarily serving Southwark, Lambeth and Bromley, with a population of over 1 million people, and acting as a referral centre for millions more. They will now recruit a new Senior Philanthropy Manager and Prospectus is leading the search.  

The Senior Philanthropy Manager will be key to unlocking significant new sources of philanthropy income, developing a personal portfolio of high value prospects and will also be key to grow philanthropic income from £1.3m in 2025/26 to £3.65m in 2029/30. The Senior Manager will build professional and trusted relationships with senior clinicians and their teams, the Board and other senior influencers. The postholder will lead in shaping compelling, viable cases for support, proposals and budgets for identified priority projects, undertaking and commissioning specialist research for the philanthropy and partnerships team where required.

The selected candidate will have significant and demonstrable experience of bringing in six and seven figure gifts in a fundraising role for a charity. You will have evidence of a strategic, proactive and creative approach to fundraising and identification of new opportunities and will be able to demonstrate experience of developing long term effective working relationships with senior individuals.
