The role

As Partner Engagement Manager you will promote the work of Family Fund and maintain a positive profile within the disability sector in Northern Ireland and with key Government/political stakeholders.

You will undertake a range of public affairs and policy activities that help sustain and grow our government funding and that secure positive outcomes for disabled children and their families. You will be acknowledged as a senior Family Fund representative across the disability sector, deputising for the Group CEO, or Directors on committees and at events as required.

You will also identify growth/income opportunities and feed through to relevant internal teams, providing follow up support, as required.

• Promoting the support offered by Family Fund to support demand generation, including targeted work in relation to our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion objectives.
• Supporting our Fundraising Team in identifying and securing funding opportunities that allow Family Fund to provide improved grants/information and support services to families.

About you 

For this role you will need to have experience of presenting to external stakeholders and representing an organisation in a professional capacity. Ideally you will have some knowledge/experience of public affairs or policy development work.

To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated and be able to engage positively with different teams. You must be flexible, adaptable and resilient to work demands and change. This post is home based with regular travel.

Responsibilities

In this role you will have 6 key responsibilities:

Financial: Managing a portfolio of high-value relationships and to deliver income at the agreed annual target in the first year with an expectation this will rise year on year.

Management:  You will be one of the first points of contact internally for trusts/foundations and individual major donors (IMD) related queries and will work in accordance with the major giving team strategic plan and existing procedures, practices and standards.

Relationship:You will seek to actively develop and manage excellent relationships with an agreed portfolio of trusts/foundations and IMD capable of donating a minimum of £25,000 or more as a single gift each year. In addition you will need to:

• Develop and implement professionally written action plans which will engage, inform and nurture prospects and donors to deliver gifts at the agreed level.
• Undertake timely administration to capture and record knowledge of supporters within the customer relationship management database. Work with the organisation’s systems team to utilise this information to enhance applications and giving levels
• Pro-actively develop relationships with key stakeholders within the MAF organisation(s)
• Present MAF proposals alone or with others, (member of the operational field team, CEO etc), to prospects and donors.
• Participate in events to develop relationships with donors, inviting individuals from portfolios where appropriate and co-ordinate visits to MAF overseas operations where appropriate to introduce these donors directly to the work of MAF.  

Information: Information management and analytical thinking is essential as you will present detailed, accurate and high-quality fundraising proposals to prospects and donors, ensuring any specific deadlines or funding windows are complied with.   In addition you will need to:

• Ensure that donors are thanked appropriately for their gifts with timely and appropriate reports, letters and phone call.
• Provide timely ‘report backs’ that are appropriate/agreed with each donor, to evidence effective use of funding and to encourage the opportunity to make further applications based on good stewardship and achievement of agreed outcomes.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge, and the funding priority, of projects available for funding by trusts/foundations supporters and prospects.
• Actively seeking to grow the trusts/foundations portfolio and income through the use of research
• Attending regular appropriate training courses, external forums and networks to ensure continuous personal development 

Major Donor team (practice/ procedures/training):As a key member of the team you will need to ensure procedures and standards are developed/maintained to ensure we are effective and compliant with any legislation/regulation.

CRM Database: To provide support to the Partnership Executive, who will be the team’s CRM database lead and maintain a thorough working understanding of MAF UK’s CRM system in order to answer specific team queries.  You will need to support the teams day-to-day CRM activities including producing reports, importing data, adding activities, amending details and any other relevant tasks

About the NGSN London Regional Board

The NGSN London Regional Board brings together partner organisations to enhance collaboration, service delivery, treatment, and understanding around gambling harm within the London Region.

The Board has a joint vision to build a strategic approach to raise awareness and provide education and treatment around gambling-related harm. The Board is chaired by Betknowmore UK’s Founder & CEO Frankie. 

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our stakeholder engagement initiatives with local authorities across London. This critical role will drive forward the board's vision by building strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring effective collaboration between local authorities, public health services, and NGSN partners. This role is primarily home based, within a commutable distance to London for meetings as needed. 

Key duties include:

• Build and steward relationships with new and existing Donor Advised Funds, encouraging these funds to market Mary’s Meals to their donors, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships, multi-year support and transformational gifts.
• Work closely with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships to develop the charity’s high-value giving strategy, working closely to expand the portfolio by identifying and securing new philanthropic opportunities through individuals and DAFs.
• Manage relationships with current High Net Worth (HNW) donors, including those who give through non-cash assets such as shares, engaging them through the prospect of giving through DAFs where appropriate.
• Identify and maximise communications and engagement opportunities with new and prospective individual donors and DAFs, ensuring that the charity’s mission and case for support is effectively communicated to high-net-worth audiences.

We’re looking for the following skills and experience:

• Tangible experience of managing high-net-worth donor relationships, personally securing 5 figure+ gifts.
• Experience and ability to network proactively, with an entrepreneurial approach to relationship building.
• An understanding and curiosity around diverse mechanisms of high-value giving, including through non-cash assets and through Donor Advised Funds.
• Experience and knowledge of account management principles, with the ability to manage relationships with individuals and Donor Advised Funds to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
• A flair for exceptional donor communications and engagement, with the ability to translate a powerful grassroots message to a compelling high-value proposition.

We are looking for an experienced Trust and Corporate Manager - to be known as a High Value Partnerships Manager - to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will be responsible for driving our strategy for fundraising from Corporate Partnerships and Trusts & Grants, both of which are already well-established income streams with lots of great potential. You will also use your experience to identify, attract and win new partnerships.

Purpose of the role

• Experience of creating and delivering a High Value strategy
• Experience of the full fundraising pipeline, including researching, cultivating and securing multi-year 5 or 6 figure donations from Trusts, Foundations or Corporate Partnerships (experience of both income streams a plus)

• Ability to project manage the delivery of partnerships including impact reporting
• Experience working in a CRM and analysing data to inform decision-making (Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus)

About CAVA

CAVA provides infrastructure support to the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise sector across Warwickshire and Solihull. Area Managers at CAVA

Area Managers work as part of the Senior Management Team and are key ambassadors for the organisation and the wider VCFSE. The Opportunity

The Area Manager will provide management and leadership of CAVA’s Solihull portfolio, which is at an evolving and exciting phase of integration across the Borough.

The Area Manager has a key role in leading and shaping CAVA’s presence in Solihull, working strategically alongside the Board and CAVA’s Senior Management Team, to lead the organisation into its next era of growth and delivery.

About the role:

The Team Leader will lead on the delivery of the Triage Model in their pilot area/s, providing support, case management and supervision for the Triage Worker and IDVA roles. They will act as the first point of contact assessing the suitability of initial referrals to be allocated to a Triage Worker for a full assessment. The Team Leader will support the Service Manager and Practice and Development Lead in developing multi agency relationships for the successful implementation of the model and will take a lead role in maintaining these relationships locally to ensure operational success when undertaking assessments to try and ensure the right recommendations for positive requirements are made but also to support the ongoing development of a national delivery model and to support the evaluation of the pilot.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and talented individual with strong project management skills to lead the delivery of the training function within the BSI. Reporting directly to the Director of Events and Training, and in collaboration with the wider BSI team, the Training Manager will be responsible for the delivery of existing training programmes and for devising, setting up and rolling out new training courses by working with BSI members to develop content and curricula, utilising different platforms from face-to-face to remote learning and supporting marketing of the courses to relevant sectors.

This role is responsible for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to help identify training needs and opportunities that the BSI can meet. This will include opportunities in several sectors including clinical, scientific and public/patient focused. Using strong commercial acumen, the Training Manager will be critical in the continued development and growth of the training function to generate significant new income for the BSI.
