The Community Table Coordinator plays a key role in delivering Shoreditch Trust’s community food and wellbeing activities, including Community Table lunch programme, Recipes of Life courses, Flavours of Home, and other food-based programmes.

The role will combine practical cooking and food preparation skills with the ability to facilitate engaging, inclusive and enjoyable group sessions. They will help create welcoming community spaces where people can connect, learn new skills, improve their wellbeing and build relationships.

Working alongside the We Connect team, volunteers and community partners, the role will support participants from diverse backgrounds to take part in cooking, food-related activities and shared meals, while promoting healthy eating, independence and community participation.

Main Responsibilities

Programme Delivery

• Support the planning and delivery of Community Table lunches, cooking sessions, workshops and other food-related activities.
• Lead or co-facilitate engaging and inclusive group sessions that encourage participation, learning and social connection.
• Create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for participants, volunteers and visitors.
• Adapt activities to meet the needs, interests and abilities of different groups, including older people, disabled people and other community members.
• Promote healthy eating, nutrition and practical cooking skills in accessible and engaging ways.
• Encourage participants to build confidence, share experiences and contribute their own ideas, recipes and skills.

Food Preparation and Kitchen Management

• Prepare and cook healthy, high-quality meals and refreshments for groups and community events.
• Work with clients, colleagues and volunteers to plan menus and recipes that are nutritious, culturally inclusive and cost-effective.
• Set up kitchens and workspaces for activities, ensuring they are clean, organised and safe.
• Ensure food is prepared, stored and served in accordance with food hygiene regulations and best practice.
• Manage ingredients, equipment and supplies, reporting shortages or maintenance issues as required.
• Assist with transporting food, equipment and supplies between venues where necessary.

Volunteer Support

• Welcome, support and encourage volunteers from diverse backgrounds.

• Represent Shoreditch Trust positively within the community and help promote food programme activities.

Context and Background

The NSPCC’s mission is to end cruelty to children. Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We share it. It drives our Engagement and Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse.  

Within the Engagement and Fundraising Directorate, our aim is to maximise resources for the NSPCC’s mission by raising funds, providing the best possible supporter experience, and building long-term relationships between donors and our cause.  

To continue to deliver our mission we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of our annual income.

The Prospect Development Team sits within the Supporter Management Team within Philanthropy & Partnerships department but works across the whole of Engagement & Fundraising. Primarily, the team supports the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships fundraising teams in their prospecting and fundraising strategies. The team’s role is to help colleagues understand their supporters at an individual level, but also to bring to the forefront the key trends and milestones in their journeys within the NSPCC. We aim to match opportunities for giving and engagement with our supporters’ charitable interests.

To deliver this, the Prospect Development Team offers prospect research, management and identification services. The team works with departments within the directorate on projects and initiatives which have the potential to further leverage major giving and corporate income.

The team also has a role to play in sharing insight and knowledge on the latest trends in philanthropy and corporate giving with the rest of the directorate, and in ensuring that our fundraising and research practices are compliant with sectoral regulations.

Job purpose

· Contribute to the Income Generation directorate’s purpose of maximising income from supporters by carrying out prospect research and prospect identification activities that contribute to fundraising activity.

· Deliver the Prospect Development Team’s strategy for supporting the growth of high value income from individuals and organisations.

· Work effectively and proactively with other departments in fundraising, in particular Philanthropy and Partnerships, and other functions within the NSPCC, to ensure prospect research activities serve their insight requirements.

· Works with a range of agencies and suppliers that support fundraising research activities.

Main duties and responsibilities

· Devise, agree and deliver particular aspects of the Prospect Development Team’s annual business plan and budget alongside the Prospect Development Manager, to enable the NSPCC to deliver its planned activities and services.

· Delivery of business systems and processes within income generation in line with agreed key performance indicators and ensuring service level agreements are met where applicable.

· Manage relationships and deliver high quality support, information and data to fundraisers for whom you are assigned as lead contact. Corresponding effectively using creative and engaging methods of communication.

· Carry out research through a range of sources, including the internet, intranet, publications and other external contacts, including other charities, in order to obtain relevant information that can contribute to areas such as proposals, events, donor strategies and fundraising communications.

· Analyse and present research findings in a written or verbal format, including briefing notes, reports, summarising papers and publications. Develop full and accurate research profiles on prospects and donors to make recommendations that contribute to the agreed departmental strategic goals.

· Proactively take steps to improve business support and information systems that affect fundraising activities and staff through understanding how information and business processes are used, evaluating their effectiveness and efficiency on an on- going basis and making recommendations for and implementing improvements.

· Work with the Prospect Development Manager to maximise the opportunities by which Prospect Development can contribute to the NSPCC’s mission of ending cruelty to children over and above fundraising objectives.

· Maximise income by sharing knowledge, specialist expertise and experience of a specialist business support area with others in order to add value to cross-market fundraising activities.

· Be a key contact for agencies and other suppliers who support fundraising, ensuring appropriate agreements are in place and that goods/services are delivered as agreed.

· Keep up to date on best practice and developments within the charity sector generally and particularly in terms of changes to fundraising regulations and codes of practice.

About the role:

Too many young people are left waiting, repeating their story, or trying to navigate mental health systems that were never built with their lives in mind. In this role, you’ll help change that. As Mental Health Practitioner, you’ll help young people in Camden Young Person’s High Support Accommodation Service build trust, understand their options and access the health and mental health support they need to move towards safety, wellbeing and independence.

You’ll hold a focused caseload of young people with higher mental health and wellbeing needs, carrying out screenings, building clear health profiles, supporting referrals and helping young people engage with appointments, treatment and care planning. You’ll work alongside young people at their pace, recognising that confidence, choice and trust are often built through patience, consistency and strong relationships.

You’ll also support colleagues to feel more confident when responding to mental health need, distress, crisis, risk or barriers to engagement. Working closely with CAMHS, adult mental health services, primary care, substance use services and other health partners, you’ll help create a more joined-up response so young people are not passed between systems, but actively supported to access the care they deserve. Pay and Conditions of Service

This post is permanent and full-time.

The annual full-time salary for this role is between £47,911 and £53,890, inclusive of London Weighting. 

There is a probationary period of six months for this post. 

Full-time staff are entitled to 25 days holiday leave per annum with additional days for long service. The timing of holidays must fit in with the needs of the Foundation and must be agreed in advance. In addition to annual holidays there is paid time off for national holidays. 

The post will be based in the London office at Unit 17 Deane House Studios, 27 Greenwood Place, London NW5 1LB. Staff currently work two to three days a week in the office. 

The normal working week is 35 hours for full-time posts, seven hours per day, Monday to Friday. Standard office hours are 9.00 a.m.-5.00 p.m.

Job purpose
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, you will lead GHP’s external affairs and communications function across the full range of the organisation’s strategic priorities. This includes designing and executing GHP’s advocacy strategy for priority programmes — with the Every Mother, Everywhere MCH programme as the flagship — while also building GHP’s broader profile as the leading UK voice on NHS institutional partnerships, health workforce policy, and the mutual benefit case for UK investment in global health. You will manage GHP’s relationships with key stakeholders in parliament, government, and the media, and ensure that GHP’s full portfolio of work is visible, compelling, and connected to the policy arguments that matter most to funders and decision-makers.
 

You will oversee GHP’s secretariat relationship with the APPG on Global Health and Security, develop and support networks of health worker and diaspora advocates, lead media and parliamentary engagement, and coordinate a coalition of civil society, clinical, and community organisations around shared advocacy priorities. With the communications team, you will also work closely with the fundraising and programmes teams to ensure GHP’s communications and public profile actively support income diversification and donor engagement across institutional, trust, and corporate funding streams.
 

While the immediate priority is our Maternal and Child Health Advocacy programme and its parliamentary and media objectives, this role carries wider organisational responsibility for GHP’s positioning, reputation, and voice in public discourse on global health. The postholder will line manage the Communications Manager and be accountable for the coherence of GHP’s external communications across all channels and programmes.

Stand Up! Education Against Discrimination brings Jewish & Muslim educators into the classroom to facilitate informal conversations with young people.​ By creating a safe space and through free interactive workshops, students are empowered to learn about and act against racism and discrimination with a specific focus on antisemitism and anti-Muslim hate. Young people are provided with the tools on how to report hate crime, whilst developing their sense of social responsibility to their local communities and British society as a whole.

The programme has reached over 150,000 young people across the country since its inception in 2017 and has received recognition from the Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan, who funds the programme through the Shared Endeavour Fund. Workshops are delivered by expert facilitators who create a safe space for young people to debunk myths and misconceptions about the Muslim and Jewish communities.

Key responsibilities

• As part of Saferworld’s senior leadership, you will support organisation-wide initiatives and contribute to strategic decision-making. You will monitor funding trends, identify emerging issues relevant to Saferworld’s work and partnership approaches, and develop appropriate strategies to respond.
• Working closely with the Senior Operations Team, you will ensure funding plans are developed across business units and thematic/regional areas, and that income pipelines are maintained while quality assurance and active cost recovery are proactively pursued. Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are expanding our team of IPS Employment Advisors in our IPS service in the London Borough of Newham. You will be based in one of NHS mental health treatment teams in Plaistow and East Ham areas, working 35 hours per week. IPS services at Working Well Trust have been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adhere closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. You will spend up to 65% of your week working in the community of Newham to provide localised support to residents of the Borough.

You will also be working to contract targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to lead and deliver a transformation roadmap that redesigns and improves student services, using service design and business analysis approaches to create efficient, student-centred processes across the Union.

The role is full time (with part time possibility) and a fixed term contract for 12 months. This role is based at our Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on a 40/60 basis (40% working from the office).
 

Duties and Responsibilities

You will lead the delivery of a transformation roadmap to redesign and improve student services across the Union, focusing on creating efficient, user-centred processes that enhance the experience of student leaders and staff. This will involve analysing current ways of working, identifying opportunities for improvement, and balancing quick wins with longer-term change aligned to the academic cycle.

You will work closely with students, staff and stakeholders across the Union to co-design services and ensure they meet real user needs. Using data, insight and feedback, you will prioritise improvements, build engagement, and ensure that systems and tools—working in partnership with IT and Digital—support the delivery of better services.

Alongside delivery, you will help embed a consistent approach to service design and process management, producing clear documentation and building organisational capability for continuous improvement. You will also ensure that all changes align with governance, risk and compliance requirements, supporting sustainable and effective service delivery.

Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of service design or business analysis approaches, and the ability to communicate complex processes clearly to diverse audiences.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, flexible, and knowledgeable Housing Support Worker to join our Housing Team. In this role, you will assess young people referred to the service and determine their suitability for New Horizon's Accommodation Pathway or private rented accommodation. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to young people living within our accommodation projects, helping them to build the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload across multiple accommodation schemes, completing assessments, developing support plans, and working closely with young people to identify and secure appropriate move-on options into independent living in a timely manner. The role requires effective partnership working with internal teams, local authorities, landlords, and other external agencies to ensure young people receive coordinated and holistic support.

This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent communication, sound professional judgement, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and delivering a high standard of service.
