In this role, working alongside your peer, you’ll be responsible for leading and inspiring our Engagement team, with a particular focus on how we steward and grow high-value legacy relationships. You will line manage up to five individuals who deliver both stewardship and awareness activity across their regions, ensuring our supporters receive a seamless and personalised experience and our volunteers are equipped to talk about gifts in Wills.

You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across Legacy Marketing & Administration, Philanthropy and Regional Engagement teams to ensure we take a more proactive, insight-led approach to identifying and supporting high-value pledgers. Working with your peer, you will shape the culture and direction of the team, ensuring focus, consistency and delivery across a range of key projects.

Your role

As a Senior Legacy Engagement Manager – Stewardship and Blended Giving, you will focus on:

• Inspiring and managing the team, working in partnership with the other Senior Legacy Engagement Manager, to deliver a world-class stewardship programme for legacy supporter
• Leading the development of a more structured, insight-led stewardship approach, ensuring clarity on when a personalised, relationship-led approach adds the most value
• Supporting and guiding Legacy Engagement Managers to prioritise and build relationships with supporters most likely to leave significant gifts
• Driving a more proactive approach to identifying and engaging high-value legacy supporters, moving beyond passive acquisition routes
• Playing a key role in developing our Blended Giving approach, working closely with the Philanthropy team to connect legacy and major giving opportunities
• Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to deliver a seamless, supporter-centric experience that secures and grows long-term income
• Using insight and data to continuously evaluate and improve our stewardship approach, identifying opportunities to enhance supporter experience and value
• Contributing to the wider legacy strategy, helping evolve our approach to meet new opportunities and challenges

About you

As an experienced fundraising or engagement leader, you’ll be comfortable building meaningful relationships with supporters, working collaboratively across teams and inspiring others to deliver excellent stewardship.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have:

• Strong leadership experience, including managing and motivating a geographically dispersed team and driving performance
• Demonstrable experience in managing high-value relationships, including stewardship of major donors or legacy pledgers
• Experience of developing and delivering personalised engagement approaches that drive long-term value
• Proven ability to use insight and data to inform decision-making and prioritisation
• Experience of working across teams to deliver integrated approaches, ideally including exposure to both legacy and major giving
• Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders and drive change in a complex organisation
• Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear, practical delivery
• A valid driving licence

Independent Age is the national charity focused on improving the lives of people facing financial hardship in later life. We believe no one should face financial hardship in later life.

Our Helpline and expert advisers offer free, practical support to older people without enough money to live on. Responsibilities and Person Specification:

This role is dedicated to building lived experience participation at Independent Age.  We want to deliver more opportunities for a greater variety of people with lived experience of financial hardship in later life to shape our work in meaningful ways.  

The role will be responsible for developing a lived experience participation network ensuring that our existing and growing work in this area can be delivered smoothly, ethically and in line with best practice and making sure that the voices of those most at risk of financial hardship can be heard. The role will champion and encourage participatory practice across the organisation, developing the long term lived experience strategy and supporting the organisation to learn and grow in this area. 

You should have strong experience of designing, running and supporting participatory activity, particularly with those with lived experience of a pressing social issue.  You will be passionate about making change for those with experience of financial hardship in later life and bring an understanding of what barriers there might be to taking part and how to overcome them.   Exceptional organisational skills are a must, along with great communication and the ability to build relationships with a broad range of people.

London based: £46,227 per year, full time equivalent (£27,736 actual)

We are seeking a fantastic corporate partnerships manager to join our Income Generation team. This is a key role for the organisation, proactively leading on new business; delivering mid and high-value partnerships and maintaining a healthy and active pipeline of new prospects to support the long-term sustainability of our work. The successful candidate will develop compelling proposals and pitches to build new relationships and provide excellent stewardship for existing corporate partners. They will manage and deliver the Income Generation strategy, annual operational plan, and income forecasting and develop accurate annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against plan and meeting KPIs and targets.
We are looking for an individual able to demonstrate a good track record of success in achieving and exceeding set income targets in corporate fundraising as well as devising, driving and delivering corporate fundraising plans. Excellent written and creative skills, with experience in developing relationships is crucial as is the ability to organise, prioritise, and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines. · quickly learn and be able to articulate well our campaigns and victim service and their evidence base, our funding need, and the actions that corporates can and should take to prioritise safe and green use of roads, through funding us and supporting our campaigns

· find and unlock access to senior leads within companies not already working with us (e.g., public affairs, communications and corporate social relationship teams) as well as taking up the reins of stewarding relationships with some of the companies already working with us

· listen and understand corporates’ priorities, understanding their budgets, potential to fundraise within their teams and networks, and their safety, sustainability, policy and pr priorities; and articulate what Brake does and our need for help

· forge, together, actionable joint plans that generate funds for Brake from a company, directly or through their supply chain / customers. You will achieve six figure funding targets, by generating five figure funds from new and existing partners

· Work alongside team members in public affairs, PR, and public engagement to understand our programmes of work in campaigns and seek the engagement of new and existing corporate supporters in those programmes, for example through participation and sponsorship

· Be responsible for developing your own pipeline of leads and accurately forecasting income you will fundraise from this pipeline and listing partnership activities that will be delivered

MCKS Charitable Foundation UK is an ambitious and rapidly growing charity supporting schools and communities across the UK through school pantry programmes, breakfast clubs and wider wellbeing initiatives that help children and families experiencing food insecurity.

We currently support around 180 schools nationally, with a long-term vision to expand to 500 schools and beyond.

The Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising Manager will work very closely alongside our Schools, Community & Impact Manager, with both roles playing a key part in helping shape the future growth of the charity.

JOB PURPOSE 

The postholder is responsible for securing, managing, and growing commercial partnerships with organisations that support AdviceUK’s mission, values and strategic priorities. These partnerships should significantly increase AdviceUK’s commercial income, extend AdviceUK’s reach, and achieve measurable social impact. The postholder will ensure that commercial partnerships both comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and contribute positively to AdviceUK’s reputation and influence. 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

1. Partnership development 

• Identify, research, and secure new commercial and corporate partnership opportunities aligned with AdviceUK’s strategic and income generation priorities. 

• Develop compelling partnership propositions, including sponsorships, strategic alliances, product/service developments, cause‑related marketing, corporate social responsibility, and other commercial collaborations. 

• Identify and develop new products and services that benefit members, grow income, and support member recruitment and retention. 

• Shape new products and services with user and sector insight, applying structured approaches to testing, evaluation and scaling. Ensure that pricing, return on investment and other financial modelling is completed to demonstrate how new products or services deliver agreed objectives. 

• Bring external market insight into AdviceUK’s strategic planning and decision making, ensuring that commercial partnership propositions are clearly differentiated in the markets they are targeting. 

• Work with the Head of Membership and Services, other colleagues at AdviceUK, and AdviceUK’s existing commercial partners to develop a commercial partnership strategy, business plan and pipeline. 

• Lead negotiations and contract discussions in partnership with the Head of Membership and Services, Finance and where relevant, AdviceUK commercial partners and subsidiaries. 

• Ensure all partnerships align with the charity’s mission, values and ethical standards.  

• Carry out appropriate due diligence and risk assessments on commercial partners

2. Partnership management and growth 

• Act as the primary relationship manager for AdviceUK’s current commercial partners and subsidiaries to ensure they feel valued, informed, and engaged throughout the partnership lifecycle. 

• Maximise the value of established partnerships through renewals, extensions, upselling opportunities, and agreed new income generation activity. Support cross‑team collaboration and knowledge sharing. 

• Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within AdviceUK’s commercial partnerships portfolio. 

• Support the communication of impact to partners, including reporting on outcomes enabled by their support. 

• Represent AdviceUK at events, conferences and networks relevant to the commercial partnerships portfolio.

3. Income generation and performance 

• Ensure all partnerships deliver against agreed financial and non‑financial objectives. Contribute to departmental budgeting and forecasting. 

• Monitor partnership performance and provide accurate reporting on partnership income, engagement, and impact. 

• Contribute to the ongoing review of existing commercial partnerships and service level agreements, making recommendations for change as required. 

• Share learning, insight, and good practice to continually improve commercial partnership approaches.  

• Ensure compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House guidance, relevant fundraising regulations, and internal governance policies.  

• Work closely with AdviceUK colleagues to deliver integrated partnership activities.  

4. Data and evidence

• Support the delivery of performance reports as required to evidence the extent to which commercial partnerships are achieving required KPIs. 

• Work with colleagues to ensure that partnership datasets are accurate, timely and support decision making. 

• Ensure any partnership activity that requires data sharing adheres to data protection and cybersecurity requirements. 

5. General responsibilities

• Ensure you effectively communicate AdviceUK’s vision, mission and objectives to staff, members and external stakeholders.

3. Implementing a proactive acquisition approach to securing new corporate support that delivers financial and/or social value gains for our charity, including the negotiation and drawing up of partnership agreements.
4. Personally managing and stewarding a portfolio of corporate relationships, providing an outstanding supporter experience which seeks to sustain and grow corporates’ support.
5. Providing corporate fundraising advice, materials and updates to colleagues/Branches and working with the Head of Grant, Trust & Corporate Fundraising to deliver training to staff, the Senior Leadership Team, Council of Trustees and   BC Trading Company Board, as required. 
6. Working with teams across the organisation to develop and prepare tailored cases for support/proposals and bespoke updates/reports to corporate donors.
7. Collaborating with the Finance Team to ensure appropriate invoicing, accurate income coding/recording and contract compliance.
8. Monitoring corporate relationship and income performance so as to provide data that can feed into reports and analysis, which can inform our Senior Leadership Team, Council of Trustees and  BC Trading Company Board.
9. Following relevant policies and procedures, such as those relating to data management and our Ethical Fundraising & Donation Acceptance Policy.
10. Ensuring the effective promotion and/or dissemination of Butterfly Conservation’s ‘Corporate Supporters Pack’ and ‘Work for Good’ platform (managed for lower level donations), providing clarification to corporates and/or identifying potential for uplift, to then pursue, as necessary.
11. Line managing and supporting the Corporate Fundraising Officer, driving performance and innovation through a solution focused approach and ensuring appropriate prioritisation of workload.
12. Maintaining and updating records to keep track of corporate prospects and corporate approaches, communications and agreements, in files, spreadsheets and on the CRM so that the are a reliable and trusted source of information.

Role Purpose 

As Community Support Lead: Partnerships, you will play a key role in strengthening the relationships that underpin HOST’s work, ensuring every hosted partner (HP) receives consistent, responsive, and values-driven support. 

You will lead on partner onboarding, engagement, and ongoing support, ensuring needs are met with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. This includes managing communications around invoices and payments, responding to general queries, and proactively identifying and escalating potential risks. 

Blending strong attention to detail with a people-first approach, you will shape and continuously improve the partner experience — from initial onboarding through to long-term collaboration — ensuring every interaction reflects HOST’s mission to support the world’s change-makers. 

Core Responsibilities 

1. Partner Engagement and Onboarding

• Lead Welcome, Onboarding, and regular check-in calls with hosted partners, building clarity, trust, and consistency in every interaction. 

• Provide clear guidance on HOST’s systems, processes, and expectations, ensuring each partner journey is well-defined and smoothly implemented. 

• Identify risks, issues, or emerging support needs during interactions, and promptly share these with the Community Support Manager. 

• Support escalations and follow-up actions to maintain a high-quality, responsive partner experience. 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications, ensuring relevant information, issues, and risks are clearly documented and shared across the team. 

• Negotiate PAYF contributions, add-on pricing, and additional services, ensuring partner needs are met efficiently and effectively. 

Reporting cadence: Weekly summary and inclusion in monthly CS reporting. 

2. Query Resolution and Partner Care 

• Respond to general hosted partner queries with accuracy, clarity, and empathy, achieving a minimum 90% satisfaction score. 

• Ensure at least 90% of queries receive an initial response within 24 hours. 

• Maintain consistently high standards of written and verbal communication, reflecting HOST’s values of integrity, care, and responsiveness. 

• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure partner needs are resolved promptly and effectively. 

Reporting cadence: Weekly dashboard updates and monthly performance reporting. 

3. Partner Relationship and Invoice Management 

• Work closely with hosted partners to amend invoices and resolve payment queries accurately and in a timely manner. 

• Ensure all payment-related communications and outcomes are clearly documented in ClickUp and Zendesk. 

• Monitor and report on invoice corrections, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement.

4. Risk Identification, Screening and Escalation 

• Identify and assess potential financial, operational, or reputational risks arising from partner interactions. 

• Conduct initial screening of partner-related concerns in line with HOST’s due diligence processes. 

• Escalate identified risks promptly to the Community Support Manager or relevant stakeholders for review and mitigation. 

• Contribute to monthly Community Support risk reporting and ongoing team learning.

5. Community Support Administration 

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across ClickUp, Zendesk, and internal systems. 

• Support the review and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and clarity across processes. 

• Contribute to internal administrative tasks, ensuring operational readiness for audits, reviews, and ongoing compliance.

6. Community Support Resources and User Journey 

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Community Support materials, guidance, and onboarding resources. 

• Support the enhancement of the hosted partner user journey, ensuring all touchpoints are clear, consistent, and aligned with HOST’s values. 

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen the overall partner experience.

7. Growth and Learning Areas (Development Focus)

• Support the development of local and regional Boccia communities, building their capacity to deliver sustainable participation opportunities across clubs and Try Boccia sites.
• Deliver a roadmap of initiatives across key locations to drive participation through a range of Boccia programmes.
