The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is expanding its network of senior volunteers to boost income from corporate and philanthropic sources.
As our Partnerships and Senior Networks Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting our income ambitions by cultivating relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and enhancing the charity’s ability to secure advice and support.
BHF’s senior volunteers help us drive income through introductions to their networks, advice around major giving and corporate partnership fundraising, and by advocating on our behalf to high-value audiences. You will manage and support these senior volunteers, oversee key fundraising boards, and facilitate the engagement activities and administration of volunteer initiatives including Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Boards.
Additionally, you’ll be responsible for leveraging senior-level networks, including existing committees, boards and the Senior Leadership Group, to grow income, while ensuring insights, network mapping and briefing materials are handled effectively.
This critical role fosters collaboration and drives income growth to support BHF’s mission to save and improve lives affected by cardiovascular disease.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you bring experience managing stakeholder engagement at senior levels (e.g. Trustees, board members, senior volunteers, high-net-worth donors and/or corporate leaders) as well as demonstrable experience in providing secretariat support to boards, committees, or similar groups.
With a background in philanthropic and/or corporate partnerships fundraising, you have a strong understanding of the charity sector and experience in managing communications on behalf of high-profile individuals, such as board members or organisational leaders.
Proactive and self-motivated, with strong organisation skills and attention to detail, you have experience in planning events and other engagement touchpoints for high value audiences and working with external suppliers and contractors to source high quality goods and services.
With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders and manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Working arrangements
This is 18-month fixed term contract from start date. Start date is as soon as possible.
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

About the team
The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 16 staff. Impetus has an annual income of £10 million, which we are looking to grow to £12–£14 million within the next few years. The team is led by the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships.
The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant-making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also delivers a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono support for Impetus’s corporate partners.
In addition to our direct grants, we have several themed funds that support specific areas of our work, currently Connect and Engage, with plans to launch Skills and Attainment. An important part of this role is working closely with the Investment team to shape compelling cases for each fund, and with the Philanthropy team to connect them with the most suitable donors.
Impetus is driven by a shared belief in tackling the barriers that hold back young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in education and employment. Alongside investing extensive financial and non-financial support in our charity partners through our Investment Team, we also seek to influence decision makers to design and implement evidence-led policy and direct new resources to get young people the support they need through our Public Affairs team. About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Philanthropy Team as an interim Events Officer. The successful candidate will be a highly organised individual who has a positive, can-do attitude, who enjoys working independently and as part of a team.
Impetus has a successful annual programme of fundraising and cultivation events including the Transforming Lives Dinner, the Impetus Triathlon and Impetus Future Party. We are looking for an Events Officer to support our programme of events, while also working creatively to innovate and improve our practices.
Reporting to the Head of Events, the Events Officer is an integral part of the Impetus team, supporting our calendar of fundraising and engagement events.
The Events Officer will be involved in all aspects of events management such liaising with venues and suppliers (catering, production, design), working with sponsors, event marketing, guest management and finance tracking. This is a role that will allow the postholder to take a high level of ownership for the sections assigned to them.
You will join a small, passionate and hardworking Philanthropy team.
As part of the role, you will be required to attend in person meetings and our key fundraising events. Currently scheduled are:

Key responsibilities
Event Delivery
- Work with the Head of Events and Events Manager on all Impetus’s major fundraising events, including the Transforming Lives Dinner, the Impetus Triathlon and the Impetus Futures Summer Party.
- Support our calendar of cultivation events such as the Pro Bono Breakfast and Philanthropy Breakfasts.
- Support research and planning of the annual events programme in line with the wider organisational strategy and objectives.
- Assist the Head of Events with on-site event management for all Impetus events.
- Source auction and raffle prizes, management of auction software and fulfilment of prizes.
Event Administration
- Manage the administration of all events, including invitation lists, invoices and general enquiries, working with the Head of Events to improve processes
- Responsible for managing all guest RSVPs across events, keeping guestlists up to date and accurately tracking responses on our CRM system
- Organise all administration resources for events, including name badges, delegate lists and signage
- Support the creation of post event reports, analysing data from each event and trends across previous years for the Philanthropy Team and wider organisation
- Supporting with invoicing, accounting, expenditures and financial reconciliation and assist with monthly reporting on income to Finance

Philanthropy Leadership

Purpose of Role
The Senior New Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in helping Comic Relief achieve its mission of a Just World Free from Poverty by securing transformational partnerships with trusts, foundations, and institutional funders (TFI). These high-value, long-term collaborations enable Comic Relief to scale its impact, reach new communities, and invest in sustainable, social change across the UK and globally.
Working closely with the Head of New Partnerships & Philanthropy, the postholder is responsible for leading the development and delivery of a strategy to secure and manage six- and seven-figure partnerships that generate significant restricted and unrestricted income. This includes developing compelling partnership propositions, managing complex negotiations, and ensuring alignment with Comic Relief’s funding strategy and social change objectives.

Purpose of the Role
The Membership & Communications Manager is a new part time role at the School Partnerships Alliance, reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with our Executive Assistant. You will join us at an exciting time as we develop our new organisational strategy and expand our current school membership offer. As this is a new position this post does not currently have direct reports, but there may be an opportunity to recruit additional team member(s) as the organisation continues to grow over the next 12-18 months. You will be required to work closely with both our CEO and Director of Programmes and Research to lead on the development and delivery of the membership strategy, both stewarding and growing our membership base year on year. You will also be required to manage our new website, provide support with our social media, and ensure that all member communications align with both our brand values and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a new, robust membership strategy that supports the S.P.A.’s key objectives. This will include new member acquisition, current member retention and ensuring that stewardship of school members is effective and fit for purpose. Croydon Youth Zone, named as Legacy by young people, was opened in September 2019. The Youth Zone is an independent Charity, but we are proud to be part of the growing OnSide Network whereby we have adopted a set of principles that guide our work with young people.
Our universal offer is focussed around a state-of-the-art, multimillion pound facility that is purpose built and remains dedicated to young people. The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising is responsible for the majority of income generation for our charity. The Switch raises income from corporate volunteering partnerships and through grant applications to other trusts and charities, which together contribute circa £800,000 per year. We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated Partnerships Account Manager to join our busy and friendly fundraising team.
In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of exciting partnerships—including Omaze and HSBC UK—and play a key part in delivering income, impact, and long-term value.
As our Partnerships Account Manager, Key responsibilities:

Managing and growing key corporate and funding partnerships

Ensuring partnerships are delivered, renewed, and where possible expanded

Leading on partner communications, reporting, and invoicing

Collaborating across departments to meet partnership objectives

Maintaining accurate CRM records (we use RENxt)

Representing the Scouts at meetings, events, and networking opportunities

Job description - Partnerships and Income Manager
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Reports to: Head of Commercial Services
Hours: Full or part-time hours considered, minimum 0.8 FTE
Start date: November 2025
Location: Home-based (travel costs paid for meetings)
Annual leave: 27 days FTE per annum plus Bank holidays (22 days FTE per annum under the Four Day Week)
Please note that at Waterwise we work a Four Day Week, under voluntary agreements which all staff members sign. This means that you will be contracted and paid as full-time but you will sign a voluntary agreement stating that you commit to employing efficiency tools both individual and team-wide to deliver and be paid for 5 days work within four normal 9 to 5 days - the office is closed on Fridays. Training will be provided and you will be expected to continue to refresh your training and to keep up use of the efficiency tools. Annual leave is also pro rata’d. We can answer any questions you may have about this at the interview/s. On a 20 hours a week contract, you would be spending 16 hours a week at work including the equivalent of 2 one hour lunch breaks, and this can be worked in a flexible pattern, such as two full days or more, shorter days.

Partnerships and Income Manager Role Description
The Partnerships and Income Manager role involves engaging a range of stakeholders to help generate greater impact and income for Waterwise. The Partnerships and Income Manager will be responsible for researching and identifying potential new business opportunities; conducting outreach to new and existing stakeholders to encourage collaboration; building and maintaining relationships with Waterwise partners, sponsors and members; and assisting with developing winning proposals for funding, in order to deepen the impact we make with individuals, communities and businesses across the UK. The Partnerships and Income Manager will lead on delivery against income targets for our services and events.
Key responsibilities in the role include:

Generating income for Waterwise by retaining existing partners, recruiting new partners, selling sponsorship opportunities, and increasing engagement and investment in Waterwise membership and services

Researching and identifying new business development leads in line with Waterwise’s commercial strategy

Building and maintaining an active pipeline of commercial and partnership opportunities to drive income

Conducting market and competitor research and engagement to ensure we have a clear understanding of customer needs and align our services to meet those needs

Conducting lead generation and lead nurturing activities, including representing Waterwise at events and conferences, reaching out to potential new partners by email, phone or social media, and conducting introductory meetings with potential sponsors, members and partners

Acting as account manager for Waterwise partners, (working alongside the Membership and Marketing Manager who manages member relationships), leading on administration such as ensuring Salesforce CRM is up-to-date, conducting Waterwise’s ethical screening process for potential partners, managing partnership agreements and payments

Working with the Memberships and Marketing Manager to design and implement communications to demonstrate how partnering with Waterwise offers value for money and delivers against ESG commitments

Working on grant funding proposals and project bids

Working with the wider team to assist in the development of content for our newsletter, social media, blogs, trade media and press

Assisting the team with organising events (e.g. Waterwise annual conference)

Attending conferences, seminars and meetings to represent Waterwise

Partnerships and Income Manager Person Specification
We need someone who is proactive and a self-starter, with exemplary communication and relationship building skills.

Target-driven and commercially-minded, with a proven track record of income generation through sales, sponsorship and grant funding

Experience in business development, sales, commercial services or relationship management roles

Experience in writing successful new business proposals, compelling pitches and funding bids

Good interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and forge great relationships inside and outside of the organisation
