What you’ll do

As Senior Practice Tutor, you will support the delivery of a postgraduate training programme for clinicians working with children and young people, focusing on Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents (IPT-A). The role involves teaching, supervising, and assessing trainees, facilitating small group sessions, and contributing to curriculum development. It also includes supporting trainee wellbeing, ensuring academic standards, and participating in departmental meetings, all within a hybrid working model and in collaboration with University College London.

What you’ll bring

Essential skills and experience:

�� Qualified and accredited: a recognised core mental health qualification and IPT-A accreditation (IPT UK).

�� Experienced: extensive clinical experience with children, young people, and families, plus significant experience supervising in IPT-A.

��‍�� Educator and trainer: proven ability to deliver clinical training or university-level teaching.

�� Supportive and inclusive: skilled in supporting students, culturally aware, and committed to inclusive learning environments.

�� Flexible and organised: able to manage workload independently, meet deadlines, and take annual leave outside term time.

Key details

Hours: Part-time (7 hours per week): usually on Mondays during term time. There may be occasions where you are requested, or you may request, to work flexibly and on a different day of the week to support peak points in the academic cycle, e.g. to meet marking deadlines.

Salary: £52,000 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.

Location: Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). Flexibility will be required to attend in-person teaching days during term time.

Job Title: Recovery Worker

Location: Churchfield West Ealing -  Unfortunately there is no step free access available on this site. 

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota between Monday to Sunday from 08:00 - 20:30 including a mix of longer shifts 3 - 4 days a week. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements such as bank holidays and evenings. 

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team based in West Ealing. We support adults experiencing homelessness, isolation, mental health challenges and addiction. We provide support and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The service has two 24/7 multi-bed premises which provide supported housing for individuals facing addiction and homelessness. 

In this role, you will work closely with our residents to provide tailored person-centred support to enable our residents to feel empowered to overcome personal challenges, and achieve their desired goals. You will support them with re-integrating into the community through tailored support plans, interventions, and working closely with our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times

Richmond Carers Centre has the mission to help unpaid and family adult carers to live a full, active and meaningful life by providing them with advice, information, activities, breaks and emotional support either face to face, by phone or by email to enable them to live well.

As the Adult Carers Activities Coordinator, you will directly deliver our leisure break activity and training programmes. You will plan, deliver, promote and review a programme of activities for adult carers, including outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. • To research and continually develop the activities and training programmes to ensure it is responsive to carers needs.
• To create promotional material to promote activities and training opportunities to carers registered with Richmond Carers Centre.

Royal Medical Benevolent Fund (RMBF) provide advice and financial assistance in the form of grants at times of crisis and hardship.  Our work is funded through a combination of donations, legacies and returns on our investments.

The Head of Finance & IT will manage the relationships with the three investment managers and the outsourced IT providers.  It is a varied role, combining the strategic with the hands-on.  It will suit a versatile individual who is happy to transition between multiple tasks.  No two days will be the same.  One moment you might be writing or reviewing Board papers, the next you might be managing an IT support call and then later on you might be rolling up your sleeves to post the final journal entries to complete the management accounts.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Finance

• Accurate, timely and user-friendly management accounts, cash flow projections and other relevant financial information, with associated recommendations where appropriate
• An annual budget and accompanying management commentary
• Draft statutory accounts which meet the latest SORP requirements, producing the audit file and being the lead contact for the Fund’s auditors during the annual external audit
• Full compliance with UK charity and company financial regulations; and appropriate financial controls in place and complied with
• The development and keeping up to date of a Finance department handbook, covering finance policies, practices and procedures
• Successful leadership and development of the finance team
• The development of, and assistance with the implementation of, financial strategies to enable the Fund to achieve its long-term goals
• Support The Finance Committee’s investment management and monitor the Investment managers’ performance
• Managing the payroll function (outsourced)
• Managing the relationship with the pension scheme provider and staff salary sacrifice arrangements.

Information Technology

• Responsible for the development and implementation of the RMBF’s Information Technology strategy
• Management and development of an accurate, up to date, user-friendly database to provide relevant information to support all areas of the RMBF’s work including casework, fundraising and communications
• Cost effective development and use of IT within the Fund, to enable staff to make good use of IT for communication, record keeping and management information
• Managing the relationship with the Fund’s outsourced IT support companies.

Person Specification

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience
• Good understanding of charity SORP
• Experienced in preparing charity statutory accounts
• Experienced in charity investment management; good understanding of charity investment and restricted funds

Asylum Aid is seeking a solicitor and IAAS-accredited senior caseworker to join its Public Law team, with experience in immigration legal aid, judicial review, and asylum and human rights law. The role involves managing a complex caseload of asylum, trafficking, human rights, and public law claims, providing high-quality legal advice and representation, and conducting judicial review challenges in the Administrative Court and Upper Tribunal. The successful candidate will work closely with the Public Law Supervisor and the Director of Legal Casework to ensure that individual cases are handled effectively while also identifying systemic issues suitable for strategic litigation to achieve broader impact.

In addition to casework, the postholder will contribute to the strategic development of Asylum Aid’s public law work by supervising junior staff, providing training on judicial review procedures, and collaborating with colleagues on internal strategy discussions. They will also engage with external stakeholders and other sector organisations to represent Asylum Aid, contribute to policy discussions, and develop initiatives aimed at increasing the effectiveness of public law challenges. The role requires experience of managing legal aid cases, using case management systems, and complying with regulatory requirements, including applying for and extending legal aid certificates and submitting claims for payment.

The position requires resilience, empathy, and strong organisational skills, as it involves working with vulnerable clients and exposure to distressing material. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of self-care principles and the ability to support colleagues in maintaining wellbeing in an intense working environment. What’s your mission?
