The purpose of the role
The People Team provide advice, guidance and support to all National Theatre staff, line managers and senior leaders on people policies; terms and conditions of employment; recruitment and selection; performance management; staff engagement; diversity and inclusion; trade union and employee relations; discipline, grievance, and capability processes; and training and career development. The successful applicant for this role will lead on the development and review of employment policies, undertaking benchmarking and researching best practice to ensure the NT has a full range of accessible and inclusive policies. The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative and versatile finance business partner to join us at this time of growth. Reporting to Head of Finance, and working alongside other Finance Business Partners, you will be responsible for providing your financial expertise and support to our key stakeholders, playing an important part in enabling us to meet our ambitious strategy.

Main areas of responsibility
Business partnering:
- Provide a high-quality financial support to the nominated internal stakeholders. These may vary and will include some of the following: Food, Supply Chain & Logistics teams, Network Partner support, Operational centres (warehouses) and Support functions.
- Deliver monthly management accounts and KPI reporting for the nominated stakeholders. Monitor spend and provide financial insight and expertise to drive the delivery in line with FareShare’s strategic direction.
- Collaborate with the nominated internal stakeholders to develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Enhance financial reporting and analysis and develop KPI capabilities for the nominated stakeholders.
- Coach budget holders on finance systems and processes to develop effective budget management and controls.
- Provide cover for other Finance Business Partners when required, mainly around month end processes and management account reporting.
Financial accounting:
- Involvement in month end processes: produce month end journals, conduct balance sheet reconciliations for the nominated business centres.
- Support with the development and monitoring compliance of the financial policies and processes and controls.
- Oversee financial aspects of grants, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting to funders.
People and / or project management:
- Provide financial guidance and support to the finance transactional team.
- Line manage (or dotted line management responsibilities, dependant on experience) the finance offices in the operational centres (warehouses).
- Lead on process improvements in the business areas of responsibility.
- Provide any other support as and when required.
- Some travel to the operational centres and network partners, across the UK, will be required.
Person Specification
Skills, experience and abilities
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA fully qualified or equivalent experience
- Business partnering experience, preferably in a similar size organisation and business model. Experience in the commercial Supply Chain & Logistics industry will be of advantage.
- A good track record in managing month end processes
- Strong financial accounting background
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using a range of accounting software and financial reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt a style to various stakeholders
- Ability to build effective relationships across teams, ensuring staff are supported, motivated and challenged to achieve objectives

The team work within Cats Protection to identify issues and provide technical solutions, utilizing both off the shelf products or in-house developed solutions as required. Internal solutions are built using a range of technologies focused around the Azure Stack, including low code/no code solutions, the Power platform, T-SQL and other technologies as required.
Responsibilities of our Power BI Developer:
As a Power BI Developer you will be working with a number of departments within Cats Protection to understand their data and reporting requirements. You will need to identify any quality issues with their data, as well as work with the departments on how best to resolve historic data issues and improve processes to ensure future data is captured to a high standard. The data will then need to be moved in to our Power BI platform where you will create user friendly and accurate reports to show this data.
Current projects include:
- Supporting existing reports and dashboards for Neutering Finance to track processing times and backlog
- Building a number of reports for our Volunteering teams to track foster home inspections, volunteer availability, and surveys of the volunteers
- Supporting a network of Power BI Champions within the organisation, providing them with data and supporting them in finetuning reports to better inform decision-making
What we’re looking for in our Power BI Developer:
- At least 3 years of experience using Power BI and extracting data from SQL, Excel and SharePoint.

People Team Advisor
Job Role:
We need an exceptional People Team Advisor. This is a key post in supporting the management and staff of the FEC. The Forces Employment Charity to be effective in their roles and provide the very best quality of provision to our external delivery. This is a full-time, 35 hours per week, hybrid contract reporting to Head of People. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the London office 2 days per week – immediate start date but will wait for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the provision of a high-quality People (HR) service to all stakeholders in all employee life cycle in generalist capacity including resource, employee relations, learning & development, and reward, in accordance with the consistent application of charity policies and procedures and compliance with employment law and best practice.
- Produce employment contracts and variation to contracts in line with authorised management requests.
- Manage and Support onboarding processes with People Administrator.
- Work closely with the People and Payroll Department to ensure workforce information is kept up to date, employment changes are notified, and any problems identified and addressed.

The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity.
You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. Examples include the development of a professional competencies framework to support career progression and performance at all levels, supported by learning and development opportunities, improving key processes, resource allocation and financial planning methodologies, and reporting on financial performance.

Purpose of the post
The Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role within HDR UK, as the key point of contact and financial support for the Institute Office teams. Finance
- Act as first point of contact for Finance enquiries, both internally and externally
- Manage the Finance mailbox, ensuring queries are dealt with efficiently
