The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will lead our fundraising strategy and team to secure significant, multi-year income from corporates, trusts and foundations, and major donors. You’ll be responsible for expanding our funding base, deepening key relationships, and ensuring STEM Learning has the partnerships and resources to achieve its ambitious mission.

Key priorities include:

• Driving new funder engagement and positioning STEM Learning as a trusted, high-impact partner delivering measurable social value.
• Building and maintaining a strong, diverse, pipeline of six plus figure partnerships.
• Securing sustainable, multi-year income across a balanced portfolio of corporate, trusts, and major donor relationships.
• Leading, motivating, and developing the fundraising team.
• Collaborating across the organisation to align funding proposals with STEM Learning’s strategic priorities and ensure exceptional programme delivery and stewardship.
• Contributing to organisational strategy improvements as a member of the Senior Management Team.

• A strong track record of securing significant income from corporates, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Programme Management to lead the delivery of two flagship initiatives, Inside Job and Choirs Beating Time. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, consistent delivery across prisons and the community.

You will be based in Birmingham or London. Expensed travel will be part of the role to attend our prisons, for partner meetings and organisational collaboration. It’s essential you can drive, and you have access to a car. We also have a long-standing partnership based in Newcastle.

Working closely with the CEO and COO, you’ll help shape operational strategy, refine delivery processes, and scale the impact of our peer-led employment and music-based rehabilitation programmes. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to obtain security clearance from the Ministry of Justice to work within prisons. This clearance enables team members to have key access and carry out their duties safely and effectively.

About the Role

This is a key leadership role overseeing the management and maintenance of more than 1,000 homes across London. You will ensure the effective delivery of all property and estate services, maintaining compliance, safety, and high resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the property portfolio and leading preparations for managing new high-rise developments
• Overseeing all planned and cyclical maintenance, estate services, and contractor performance
• Leading on asset management planning and policy development
• Managing the Estates, Maintenance and Building Surveyor teams to deliver excellent services
• Ensuring health and safety compliance across all buildings and estate-based services
• Driving continuous improvement and value for money across property operations
• Reporting to the executive team on progress, performance, and budget

About You

You will be an experienced property or estates management professional with strong leadership skills and a clear understanding of housing compliance and building safety.

Essential skills and experience:

• At least three years’ experience in property or estate management
• Knowledge of social housing and current building safety legislation
• Experience of contract and performance management
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams
• Excellent analytical and reporting ability
• Relevant professional qualification in housing, asset management or compliance

You will be proactive, solutions-focused and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. A genuine commitment to resident service and continuous improvement is essential.

Hillside Clubhouse is a coproduced mental health charity based in Islington that works collaboratively with people with mental health conditions across Islington. The Team

IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England.

The Role

This role sits within the IPS Grow Operational Support function and will play a key part in supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce-based CRM system. You will work closely with colleagues across IPS Grow and Social Finance’s Data and Digital Community of Practice to ensure tools meet the needs of frontline teams and stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, including configuration, customisation and user support.
• The ability to advise on design decisions and adapt/develop Salesforce functionality (e.g. custom objects, workflows, automations) without needing to code.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience cleaning and interpreting data using Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Head of Finance and Operations provides a pivotal role in the strategic and operational leadership across the core support functions of the charity. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• As a member of the SLT, actively contribute to the development and delivery of the charity's strategic plan, leading on the organisational planning and performance for operational areas.
• Work with the CEO to ensure the Board fulfils its legal, regulatory, and financial responsibilities with effective controls through various Board meetings and sub-committees.
• Lead on the risk management for the charity, working with the Board and SLT to identify, record and mitigate risk.

• Prepare and complete annual accounts and statutory returns ensuring compliance with charity finance regulations, managing relationships with auditors and financial institutions.

• Working with external providers, and advisors, lead on people strategy, including recruitment, retention, performance and people development.
• Ensure legal compliance with employment law and best practice HR policies.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive organisational culture, collaborating with other SLT colleagues to embed the actions on the charity's Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA), leadership development and culture change strategic plans.

• Working with external provider and advisors, oversee IT infrastructure, cyber security and responsibility for the organisation's data protection compliance (including GDPR).

• Oversee organisational health and safety strategy, compliance and training.

• CCAB recognised qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)

The Role

The objectives of the Communications and Campaigns team are to increase the public profiles of Rethink Mental Illness and Mental Health UK, mobilise public support to bring about change and ensure that all colleagues are aware of, bought into and engaged in contributing to the values and direction of the charities. 

A natural storyteller, you will have a talent for creating shortform video content that engages key audiences across our social media platforms. By generating ideas and making them happen, sourcing contributors, shooting and editing footage, you will monitor the performance of posts and proactively incorporate best practice to ensure that content is well received by audiences, and that the charities’ presence on its social media channels grows.

You will regularly collaborate with colleagues across both charities, the other founding charities and key partners to create compelling and inspiring content.

Main duties include:

• Creating shortform video content
• Project manage the production of video content for social media campaigns
• Ensure that the charity showcases its advice, information, programmes and services through shortform content.
• Champion and promote the brands, including their tone of voice, in our creative content.
• Working with the Social Media Manager, plan for and produces engaging content for relevant awareness events, including Mental Health Awareness Week in May and World Mental Health Day in October.
• Analyse the performance of video content
• Help the team keep up with social media trends, spotting opportunities

About You

A content creator and social media expert you will have experience of planning, shooting and editing footage to engage audiences across different social media platforms and of using creative design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro - essential). With an eye for detail, you will use your project management skills to analyse the performance of social media content, refining and improving content through iteration.

You will also have experience of:

• Writing and editing copy to suit different audiences and providing updates and briefings at meetings.
• Being a brand guardian and supporting others to use brand and tone of voice guidelines.
• Planning, creating and scheduling engaging content across multiple social media channels, while optimising content by channel and audience.
