This position works closely with the members of the Learning and Development Team, as well as working in a support role with members of the Programmes Team to deliver quality learning and development programming. The Learning and Development Coordinator also works in partnership with external partners, including members of RedR’s Associate Trainer network, as well as other RedR organisations, partners and clients.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Learning and Development Coordinator is an essential role within the Learning and Development Team and the Programmes Team more generally. The staff will closely work and coordinate with other members of the L&D Team as well as Programme Managers, Coordinators and Officers, Associate Trainers and Consultants, etc. The L&D Coordinator designs and adapts RedR UK training materials as well as providing technical L&D support and quality assurance to the broader Programmes Team. In particular, this role will focus on building and strengthening RedR UK’s self-paced eLearning offerings.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Ensure that the quality of our L&D services and material is maintained, improved and expanded:
- Contribute to guiding, standardising and quality assuring the conversion of learning/training material, content and courses or course modules to e-learning
- Contribute to updating, maintaining and expanding RedR UK L&D and training material and resources, store & categorise them, and make them accessible
- Contribute to the update and maintenance of RedR UK’s e-learning and open-source learning platforms
- Provide quality assurance of project outputs or deliverables and assist in drafting high quality reports
- Contribute to the development or updating of RedR UK’s L&D and eLearning strategies
Support the delivery of RedR UK's demand-led services to a consistently high standard:
- Provide an end-to-end service - designing, supporting, quality assuring and evaluating the delivery of learning interventions, including developing new training and capacity development services (F2F, online facilitated and eLearning), particularly in connection with RedR UK’s self-paced eLearning offerings
- Coordinate with the L&D team on planning and scheduling of L&D activities and liaise with colleagues across RedR UK to ensure uniform high quality of services
- Where appropriate, design and/or deliver learning/training services directly to the participants
- Where appropriate and agreed by line manager, lead the execution of selected projects, especially L&D projects
- Assist in ensuring that necessary monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) data is gathered and analysed on all activities
Support Network of Associate Trainers (ATs) and L&D Consultants to effectively deliver RedR UK's services:
- Support the capacity building of ATs in L&D and technical Quality Assurance related matters, including introduction to RedR UK training methodologies, innovative training techniques, new training tools, etc.
- Contribute to the recruitment, assessment and onboarding of prospective new Associate Trainers (ATs) into the trainer pool and/or on specific projects as required
- Coordinate the work, performance, and planning of Associate Trainers when working under the L&D Unit. Quality-assure their work when working under Programmes Hubs
Ensure that RedR UK services meet the needs of the sector and work to expand our reach:
- Keep up to date with developments in learning with a focus on eLearning technologies and platforms, as well as other training methodologies and issues in the humanitarian sector and advise RedR UK programme teams accordingly
- Contribute to identifying and exploring possibilities for expanding the range of services offered by the organisation and source funding for their implementation
- Support business development efforts and proposal preparation by ensuring that the L&D component of the methodology is appropriate, services offered are in line with requirements, likely to achieve high impact and adding overall value to the programme
- Represent RedR UK at selected external events and forums, as appropriate
- Be the Key Account Manager (KAM) for selected Key Accounts (clients and partners) in line with RedR UK’s KAM System

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Essential
- Experience in design of self-paced and blended eLearning programmes, including experience with Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Vyond and other animation/design platforms including a strong understanding of accessibility requirements
- Experience managing Learning Management Systems, especially Moodle
- Experience and understanding of learning and development approaches, adult learning (andragogy) and participatory learning methodologies, including designing and conducting LNAs, designing, delivering and evaluating face-to-face and online facilitated events and revising/adapting training material
- Experience assessing learning, familiarity with the Kirkpatrick Model, and experience tracking, evaluating and reporting on learning data
- Excellent people skills and experience in the coordination of consultants, including effective cross-cultural communication and strong inter-personal skills

C4WS Welfare Coordinator Advert 2024:
C4WS Homeless Project (registered charity, no 1189622) which provides support to people experiencing homelessness year-round, through a well-established winter night shelter in Camden, a lunchtime club, Jobs Club, mentoring scheme, hosting scheme and various other activities. We are passionate about helping people rebuild their lives after homelessness and working towards living independently.
What We Do:
Every winter, we work with a number of churches in the London Borough of Camden who offer their venues to us to run a night shelter. We operate from a different venue every night of the week, and run one circuit, accommodating 16 guests.
We provide camp beds and offer a hot evening meal. Our guests leave in the morning after a hot breakfast, ready to attend activities and meetings in our offices in Euston.
Advice and Support
Whilst the shelter operates seasonally, every winter, our team works year round, dedicated to offering advice, advocacy and practical support. This can be accessed by former night shelter guests, and via our weekly drop in, Friday Club. Guests can also access other services provided by C4WS including lunch, laundry and showers.
The Role:
Our small, dedicated team is looking for a Welfare Coordinator, to deliver holistic welfare support to all those who access our services. You will work alongside another member of the team to ensure that guests are supported both during and after their stay in the C4WS night shelter to ensure the stability of their move on.
You will possess a passion for working in the homeless sector, supporting those experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives and ideally have direct and relevant experience of working with this demographic, or similarly vulnerable and/or disadvantaged groups.
As well as providing Welfare Support, you will also be a presence at the shelter for up to two evenings a week during the shelter season (November – March) including weekends, and you will need to lead a team of volunteers to ensure the safe running of the shelter on those occasions.
C4WS is a small charity, that delivers an outstanding service to those who access our support. It is thanks to a wide network of referral partners, corporate and individual volunteers, plus the support of several religious communities in Camden, who we have worked with over the last 20 years, that we can have such a positive impact on a person’s life. The MARAC Coordinator will coordinate, administer, and manage the operation of the MARAC. One of the main purposes of the role is to bring together agencies to ensure that local systems are truly keeping survivors safe, holding perpetrators to account, and preventing domestic abuse. A key principle of the post is respecting the independence of each agency and ensuring the MARAC’s key principles are survivor’s and children’s safety, offender accountability and giving a clear message that domestic abuse is s crime that will not be tolerated. The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role
The post of Project Coordinator is critical to the work we do and this is a great opportunity to make a real difference to improve health and care services and make them work better for the patients and local people of our city.
You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a variety of patient-focused projects on different topics, against quality, time and cost constraints. You will manage projects from inception to delivery including publicising, following up on any recommendations, and promoting the impact that we make. As we are a small team you will also be expected to contribute collectively to a shared workload to keep the team working effectively.

- Improving home care services
- Improving dementia services
- Improving maternity services

Work Location
Our office is at Community Base, 113 Queens Road, Brighton. We’re a home-based team, but hold team meetings at the office every Monday and you will be expected to work in the office on this day. There is also an option of office working on Thursday and hot-desking in either the office or Community Works’ office space on other days.
We will provide line management, technology and equipment support to enable home working. Applicants must be prepared to undertake this role in either form of work setting.
Main responsibilities and duties:
1. To be responsible for all aspects of planning and delivering a portfolio of time-limited projects. Typically, this will include:
- scoping evidence-backed projects which support our wider strategic aims
- contributing to written project plans
- Using Excel or SPSS to analyse data
- leading on undertaking service review fieldwork including interviews, ‘Enter and View’ visits (where we visit services in person) and Mystery Shops of our local hospitals
- supporting others e.g. volunteers and other members of the team to undertake fieldwork
- drafting clear, well-written and evidence-backed reports
- developing workable recommendations
- presenting findings at internal and external meetings
- delivering promotional and publicity materials to support projects
- working in partnership with other groups to deliver projects.

2. Proactively undertake any duties that assist with the smooth running of Healthwatch Brighton and Hove e.g. representing the organisation at meetings with a wide variety of stakeholders including the NHS, City Council, voluntary and community sector partners, taking part in promotional events, leading and supporting volunteers in project and representative work. This post will shadow other Project Coordinator’s before attending meetings alone.

Betknowmore UK is collaborating with partner organisations to work as part of a wider team, on the delivery of the Armed Forces Gambling Harms Support Network (AFGHSN). Role Purpose
An armed forces veteran or someone closely involved with the armed forces (a family member for example), the post holder will also have a unique insight on gambling harms, and their impact on health and wellbeing specifically within the military.
The Armed Forces Peer Aid Coordinator will initially prioritise engaging with veterans and military organisations to deliver the AFGHSN training programme, along with gambling awareness activities. The purpose is to upskill key armed forces personnel and those in connected communities, enabling and enhancing their knowledge, skills and confidence to address gambling harms.
The second key responsibility is to recruit, train and support Peer Supporters to deliver safe, effective support for individuals and their networks that have been harmed by gambling. It is expected that Peer Supporters will be individuals with ‘lived experience’ of gambling harm themselves or as an ‘affected other’.
The post holder will work with the Head of Peer Support Services to support the development and maintenance of the systems and structure of the service, ensuring that governance and polices are implemented, safeguarding and safe working practices are strictly adhered to, and a clear understanding established of how the service integrates with other support and treatment networks.
The AFGHSN Peer Aid team will ensure that the support and working relationships are safe and secure, and the health and wellbeing of all participants is intact. Peer Support will be in a befriending capacity and should be provided with a considered and transparent approach. Other support activities will be developed, such as group support and weekly meet ups.
Stakeholder management is essential to the role, as is establishing and maintaining relationships within the AFGHSN, alongside confident communication skills to deliver presentations and other promotions within armed forces community, education and health centres to help grow and evolve the service.

The role
As Community Coordinator, your role will focus on the growth and sustainability of the FareShare Go programme, through maximising relationships and adding value to create the best experience for our charity community. The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator, with an approachable nature who will play a vital role in developing and maintaining charity and retailer relationships, plus raising awareness of FareShare Go across your local area.
Main areas of responsibility
- Charity account management: You will carry out virtual calls and in person visits with new and existing charities, and be responsible for ensuring that coverage KPIs are reached and maintained for both new and existing retailers. Using your analysis of charity needs, plus your knowledge of retailer and store profiles, you will use these visits to maximise the offer to charities, ensuring the service meets their requirements.
- Community Capacity Building: As part of the Building of relationships with charities, you will seek opportunities to enable and empower charities to increase their capacity and ability to take more food, to ultimately increase the redistribution of surplus food to those in need.
- Sustainability and Compliance: You will work with your Regional Manager and team to identify stores where re-engagement activities are needed to improve charity coverage and charity compliance. You will also be responsible for undertaking food safety reviews with charities to ensure compliance.
- Retailer Engagement: You will play a key role in maintaining strong retailer relationships across your region. You will take an active role in any meet and greets with retailers, where required.
