The AI Opportunity Fund:

The AI Opportunity Fund, led by the Centre for Public Impact with support from Google . org, is currently a  €16 million initiative aimed at empowering underserved workers across Europe with essential AI skills. The programme has selected 73 organisations from hundreds of applications to provide tailored AI training to 20,000 workers across 24 European countries. These organisations focus on diverse communities, including rural job seekers, underemployed women, and public sector workers, aiming to bridge the digital divide and promote economic resilience. The initiative underscores AI's potential to drive social mobility and equitable growth across the continent. We are also hoping to scale our work in this area in the future. 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced, strategic and detail-oriented Senior Programme Manager to oversee the ongoing  delivery of the AI Opportunity Fund. This exciting role focuses on managing the implementation, budget and contractual aspects as well as lessons learned of the programme, ensuring its success in meeting our ambitious targets to equip underserved communities with essential AI and digital skills. 

As part of a  dynamic team working across diverse programs to advance CPI Europe’s strategy, this individual will thrive on building strong relationships within CPIE, across CPI’s regions, and within our Global Initiatives. Reporting to the Regional Director, Europe and leading a small team, the Senior Programme Manager role will have oversight of the AI Opportunities Fund which CPI is running on behalf of Google . org.

Key Responsibilities and Core Competencies:

 Programme Leadership and Delivery

• Lead the successful delivery of the  AI Opportunity Fund programme, ensuring timely, high-quality, and outcome-focused execution in line with the Fund’s ambitious targets

• Lead a team who effectively collaborate with grantees and training providers across multiple regions, ensuring effective implementation of activities, proactive resolution of challenges, and sustained programme momentum

• Identify and manage programme risks, embedding proactive mitigation strategies and enabling the team to navigate issues effectively

• Deliver clear and consistent updates to funders and internal stakeholders through both written reports and verbal briefings

Strategic and Financial Oversight

• Oversee programme budgets (€16m+) and financial performance, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with funding requirements.

• Collaborate  with the Finance Team  to review spending, analyse trends, and deliver timely financial reports, ensuring strong internal controls and full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

• Provide overall oversight of a range of contracts, including approving amendments, while supporting the team in managing day-to-day operations to ensure effective implementation and compliance.

 Partner collaboration

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with delivery partners, funders, and stakeholders to ensure aligned and collaborative programme delivery.

• Represent CPIE with confidence and build trust in partner meetings, clearly communicating programme progress, impact, and financial performance.

• Foster open, two-way communication at all levels and with partners to identify shared goals, address challenges early, and strengthen joint decision-making.

Monitoring, Reporting, and Learning

• Track delivery milestones, outputs, and financial performance against programme goals using established project management and monitoring frameworks.

• Collaborate with  CPI’s Knowledge, Learning, and Impact team to analyse outcome data, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and clear communication to stakeholders.

• Share insights and lessons learned with CPI leadership and Google . org to drive continuous improvement, support programme adaptation, and inform organisational learning. 

Thought Leadership & Business Development: 

• Shape and drive strategies to scale and strengthen programmes, ensuring CPI’s work remains innovative, impactful, and aligned with emerging priorities.

• Lead the development of strategic partnerships with funders and delivery partners, cultivating senior external relationships to support growth and collaboration.

• Provide thought leadership by contributing to strategic planning, influencing sector dialogue, and representing CPI in key forums to elevate its voice and impact.

• Develop public policy lessons and other insights from the Fund, to be utilised by CPI-E and/or Google . org

People Development:

Qualifications: 

• At least 8-10  years of relevant experience. CPI welcomes a breadth of experience from individuals from  service-oriented environments

• A project/programme management qualification is desirable, but not essential with proven relevant experience

About the role

This is a hands-on role for an experienced organiser who will lead key aspects of our community organising practice. You'll design and deliver training workshops, coach emerging organisers, and build meaningful relationships with both partner organisations and individual members to expand our movement.

Working with campaign teams across the UK, you'll ensure organising principles are woven throughout our programmes whilst supporting communities to build power, win campaigns, and develop new leaders. You'll create resources and content to scale our impact, evaluate our training effectiveness, and strengthen Act Build Change's contribution to the organising field.

This role requires regular travel and a passion for grassroots work, offering the opportunity to shape how we build collective power for change.

Act Build Change is a transformative organising school that makes community organising and collective care methods accessible to everyone who wants to end injustice.

Since 2019, we've supported over 150 collectives and organisations across the UK and Ireland, working with those with disabilities, migrants and refugees, young people, carers, working class communities, LGBTQ+ collectives, those living in poverty and the intersections across those identities.

Key responsibilities

Training and development

• Develop Act Build Change's transformative organising pedagogy and lead internal staff training to ensure team-wide fluency in our curriculum and approach.

• Design and deliver engaging organising training both online and in-person, adapting our curriculum for diverse audiences and needs.

• Provide on-the-ground shadowing and coaching to develop the skills of organisers and movement leaders.

Community building and partnerships

• Build strategic relationships across the organising field with practitioners, partners, and the broader social justice ecosystem.

• Lead key cohort projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective ground-level action.

• Lead event planning and facilitation for community-facing programmes, workshops, and strategy gatherings whilst expanding our membership base.

Team leadership

• Line manage programme staff, supporting their wellbeing, development, and performance through regular supervision and feedback.

• Foster a workplace culture rooted in collective care, accountability, and anti-oppression practices.

• Collaborate with team members to improve internal systems, document learning, and refine training practices.

Fundraising and sustainability

• Raise at least £60,000 through partner projects, funding bids, and membership dues to ensure financial sustainability.

What we offer

• £45,000-£51,500 salary, depending on experience.

Purpose of the role:

The primary focus of the Data Officer role is data quality. Data Officers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Helpline data through a data cleaning regime, maintaining adherence to published data standards. Data Officers will also work with Helpline Advisors to address common data errors and improve quality at point of entry. Additionally, data Officers will be involved in analysis of data for periodic statistical publications as well as ad-hoc requests and bespoke reports. Data officers will also contribute to the ongoing improvements of the Helpline’s data model and Salesforce instance.

Key responsibilities:

1. Complete data cleaning for Helpline cases in line with Helpline data standards

2. Support management to formalise data standards and contribute ideas to streamline or update the data model to ensure capture of relevant data

3. Utilise Salesforce reporting and Excel tools to extract and analyse data for statistical reports

4. Support the Data Manager to implement data model changes and basic Salesforce changes such as creating and updating fields and objects, implementing validation rules, and updating page layouts

Our client is looking for people to join their Bristol Complex Needs service in Speedwell and Totterdown as Project Workers. Their projects provide accommodation and housing related support to people experiencing homelessness; dedicated to providing a safe, high quality and inclusive service to people while they are living in the hostel, and a positive move-on into independent housing. 

In the role of Project Worker, you will:

• Oversee a caseload of clients and provide ongoing 1-1 support in an approachable, caring and person-centred way.
• Provide practical and personal support to clients with complex needs around areas such as housing and health. 
• Have a good understanding of a person centred approach and how to provide the right support to clients to meet individual needs, identifying personal aims and ambitions and making plans to achieve them.  
• Work with the team, external statutory agencies and voluntary organisations to ensure everyone has access to available support.  
• Continue to develop your skills further around working with clients in a holistic way, and to gain a deeper understanding of housing and benefits law, and other specialist areas through training, supervision and line management support. 

These roles have a variety of weekly shift-based rotas (Monday Friday and Monday-Sunday). Lepra UK is seeking to expand impactful social research, and the research internship was created to assist with moving forward some key research pieces during the summer 2025. • Advanced knowledge of referencing mangers, such as EndNote
• Advanced experience of using Excel spreadsheets for data management

• Some understanding of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) and/or leprosy
• Prior understanding of stigma/discrimination/mental health in NTDs or other contexts
• Experience of qualitative research (including facilitation skills and data analysis)
• Reading knowledge of Portuguese would be an added advantage given the requirements within the team

Key Responsibilities

1. Research assistance in systematic review: data extraction, verification and synthesis

• Assist with screening of academic articles and relevant literature.
• Extract, verify, and code data according to pre-established criteria.
• Organise and synthesise findings in Excel.
• Implement colour-coded classification of themes within PDF documents in an EndNote library.
• Use CASP checklists to assess the quality of included articles.
• Support the writing of specific sections for submission to a peer-reviewed journal.
• Ensure quality control and consistency in data handling and documentation.

2. Research citation management

• Take responsibility for managing a research library in EndNote, updating references and formatting outputs in line with Lancet/Vancouver style

3. Research assistance in new literature review

• Assist with conducting a comprehensive literature review.
• Search academic databases and grey literature for evidence on complex factors for MDT (multi-drug therapy) (non-)adherence.
• Capture both barriers and enablers including the following categories: social, cultural, emotional, clinical/reactions, systemic/health system, disease knowledge.
• Assist with writing up findings for publication in peer-reviewed journal.

4. Any other tasks as they emerge, potentially involving other written outputs

All contributions to published outputs on the required level of quality and depth will lead to
co-authorship.

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Senior Participant Experience Manager to join on a part-time basis, working 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE) as part of a job share. This is a fixed-term contract until the end of October 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful Events team, co-leading our 7-person Participant Experience team. Working closely with the other Senior Participant Experience Manager, you’ll be jointly responsible for identifying and delivering strategic projects and multi-channel supporter journeys to improve the supporter experience for all events participants, resulting in maximised income, retention and lifetime value.

You and your team will work across the Events team, adding value to our participants’ experience across our full range of products, from sign up to thanking and beyond. You’ll lead the team to drive cross product testing, learning and innovation. You will also maximise the impact of our communications across multiple channels, such as telephone, email, post, SMS, whilst pushing efficiencies by streamlining processes and ways of working across teams.

Working as part of the Events Management team you will contribute to the strategy and direction of the wider Events team.

Interviews for this role have been provisionally scheduled to take place on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th August. We are open to offering different working arrangements for this role, with a view to discussing specific working days with candidates during interviews.

About you
We’re looking for a strategic thinker who has a strong background in stewardship and customer experience with an understanding of the charity sector.

You will able to manage and inspire the team throughout busy and high-pressured events seasons. You’ll have experience of managing people to deliver the best results for the organisation whilst effectively developing team members within their roles. As a job share, strong collaboration and relationship building skills will be vital in this role.

Crucially, you will have a proven track record in developing and managing multichannel supporter journeys from planning to analysis. You will have experience of managing complex projects and will be confident in negotiating with and managing internal and external stakeholders, managing these vital relationships to ensure best practice and the best results for Alzheimer’s Society.

You will be data-savvy, with clear understanding of fundraising and data protection laws and have extensive experience streamlining and improving processes.

What you’ll focus on:

- Co-leading the Participant Experience team, creating a culture of high performance, collaboration and celebration.
- Managing the supporter journey programme from initial contact through to event day and beyond.
- Working across internal teams and with external partners to deliver exceptional supporter experiences for all our event participants.
- Leading innovation and testing around stewardship activities.
- Supporting the Head of Events and collaborating with Senior Managers to implement a new strategy for the Events team.
