As an EPRM you will be a key contributor to the regional strategy working very much in a one team environment whilst giving you the space to grow and develop your skills. Your role as EPRM will see you work directly with young people and teachers in schools that take part in Young Enterprise programmes such as company programme, day programmes and digital programmes. You will also oversee regional relationships, at local authority level or equivalent.

The EPRM role involves being flexible to the needs of the region and your team and to provide regional leadership. Some of the duties include, which is not an exhaustive list

• Deliver and or support the delivery of Young Enterprise programmes and services in schools, colleges, universities, and youth centres
• Work as part of the regional team to proactively identify and generate sources of local income to support YE programmes.
• Manage and monitor KPIs and local contracts associated with the above tasks through the regional operations plan set out by the Regional Manager.
• Work with the local YE Volunteer Team (LVT), providing support, direction and opportunities to engage with local activity, which may include fundraising, volunteering on programmes and / or promoting our programmes to new school
• Work closely with Programmes & Services team to support the development and delivery of our full suite of programmes, while also developing your own knowledge and understanding of our full suite of programmes and services to promote to schools.

About the role

Becoming the Programme Marketing Manager at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a fantastic opportunity to help drive progress for women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by engaging more people in our work.

The key purpose of this role is to effectively market our programmes to participants – chiefly our HerVenture business skills microlearning app and our sector-leading Mentoring Women in Business programme.

This will span three main projects:

· to successfully manage a marketing agency to effectively market the HerVenture app to women in South Africa (as part of a fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Mar ‘25);

· to successfully manage the same marketing agency to promote the app in Nigeria (as part of a separate fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Dec ‘24); and

· to effectively promote the opportunity to become a mentor to a woman entrepreneur through our Mentoring Women in Business programme to paying professionals worldwide. Your objective will be to secure 18+ paid mentors for the Nov ’24 programme intake and 20+ for the May ’25 intake.

Following the completion of the two HerVenture marketing projects, you will also lead other programme marketing initiatives in 2025. These will be determined in late 2024.

Following the May ’25 Mentoring intake you will deliver a strategy, harnessing your learning and analysis to outline an approach for marketing the programme to paying mentors in future.

You will also be called on to support other forms of programme marketing on an ad hoc basis, for example advising on development of corporate pitch decks, or co-designing materials for fundraising events.

This position reports directly to the Head of Communications and Marketing, however this is a highly collaborative role and you will also work closely with the Entrepreneurship programmes team and the Programme Funding team to develop and deliver plans and manage projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated marketer with experience in ‘selling’ professional development / online volunteering opportunities, and in managing agencies and contractors to deliver on fixed projects as aligned to good marketing practices. You should be highly organised and goals-driven, with a collaborative approach, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to harness the power of marketing to support women’s economic empowerment.

This new Legacies Manager role is an exciting opportunity to deliver Speech and Language UK's first proactive legacy programme, which is a key part of their new strategy.

For 1.9 million children in the UK, learning to talk and understand words feels like an impossible hurdle. Role Purpose

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Womankind’s Major Donor Strategy to drive sustainable growth of our major donor portfolio.

The small major donor programme at Womankind has been established for several years. The Major Donor Manager will be responsible for new business within the portfolio, inspiring prospects and onboarding new high value relationships with individuals from a variety of different sources. The Major Donor Manager will also steward the relationships with our existing major donors and work with colleagues across Womankind to manage large gifts.

Key responsibilities

Strategic management and planning

• Lead the development and implementation of Womankind’s major donor fundraising strategy to grow both restricted and unrestricted income from existing and new major donors
• Develop and maintain a good understanding of gender and development issues and remain informed on Womankind’s activities ensuring that applications to donors are of a high quality and accurately reflect our organisational strategy
• Develop, manage and monitor budgets and provide internal financial reports, income analysis and forecasting and monthly key performance indicators using Womankind’s fundraising database
• Ensure that major donor income and relationships are accurately reflected in Womankind’s fundraising database at all times and reconcile income with the Finance team
• Participate in cross-organisational initiatives and groups as willing and required

New business

• Identify and research high quality prospects, maintain appropriate prospecting systems and develop cultivation and solicitation plans working with senior staff and trustees
• Increase major donor income by making face-to-face asks personally and by supporting senior staff and trustees to do the same
• Work with fundraising colleagues to maintain a strong case for support in line with Womankind’s strategy, and package up Womankind’s work to inspire major donors to give
• Develop and test tailored opportunities to give including matched giving and emergency appeals
• Lead a wealth screening project to identify new prospects including managing an external agency to deliver this work
• Lead the establishment and development of a Womankind Fundraising Board

Cultivation and Stewardship

• Work with colleagues across Womankind to deliver engaging donor cultivation events (online and in person) to maintain and grow the support of existing donors and inspire new prospects to give

• Develop and deliver an excellent stewardship programme for major donors including face-to-face meetings and reports
• Work strategically with other members of the Fundraising & Marketing team to ensure a coherent approach between major donors, corporate supporters and individual donors.

Mid-Value Programme

• Work with the Individual Giving Manager to develop a plan for a mid-value donor programme
• Use Raiser’s Edge database to identify mid-value donors and prospects
• Cultivate mid-value donors and prospects through appropriate supporter journeys

Person Specification

Essential experience, skills and knowledge

• Experience of developing and implementing major donor strategy to deliver growth in income
• Experience of identifying new prospects and developing relationships to secure income
• Demonstrable track record of raising funds from a range of major donors including securing gifts in excess of £50,000 and meeting income targets
• Experience of soliciting major gifts face to face
• Experience of producing inspiring and engaging copy for a range of donor communications
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders, senior staff and trustees
• Proven ability to form good working relationships and to motivate and coordinate colleagues across the organisation
• Experience of developing and organising donor cultivation events or initiatives
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and work on own initiative
• Experience of using databases to prepare management information and proven ability to prepare, maintain and report on income and expenditure budgets.

We are seeking a creative high value fundraiser who will lead the strategic growth and innovation of the Friends and Patrons programmes. Established 6 years ago, the schemes have seen impressive growth and now bring in almost £1million per year. There is still huge potential for development, expansion and innovation.

We are seeking a new Trusts and Foundations Manager, to maximise income for British Heart Foundation’s work through the research, development and management of high-level relationships with trusts and foundations.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of existing and prospective supporters, including some statutory funders. With an emphasis on new business, this post will focus on £75,000+ donors and securing multi-year gifts.

Growing income through strong relationships with private family trusts and institutions, you’ll provide a high level or personalised donor care and stewardship to encourage long term support.

The Role

As the Legacies Manager, you will assume a pivotal role within our dynamic Partnership and Development team. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the strategy and execution of our legacy programme, driving forward our mission to support vulnerable children, young people, and families across the UK. Drawing upon your strategic vision and extensive experience in fundraising, you will design and implement innovative legacy campaigns aimed at maximising income generation and expanding the reach of the organisation’s Family Hubs.

Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating closely with fundraising and partnership development experts to develop compelling legacy propositions and engage potential donors effectively. You will leverage your exceptional interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with legacy supporters, inspiring them to leave a lasting impact through their philanthropy. Additionally, you will utilise your expertise in data analysis to inform decision-making and refine campaign strategies, ensuring optimal outcomes and return on investment. Key responsibilities of the Legacies Manager include:

• Develop and implement a legacy strategy/plan aligned with the charity's goals to increase/improve outreach to and engagement with legacy supporters and raise legacy income around agreed goals.
• Provide excellent stewardship to all supporters who engage with legacies, working with stakeholders to ensure journeys are insight-led, respond to audience needs, and are well documented and reported upon.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of legacy giving initiatives and regularly report on progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and continuously improve strategies for maximising legacy support.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the end-to-end process for delivering the legacies plan is designed and documented. This includes solving problems in circumstances where there is minimal guidance available from established practices and precedents within the organisation.
• Work closely with the Head of Relationship Fundraising and other fundraising colleagues to ensure that all fundraising activities are well-coordinated and contribute towards the overall fundraising strategy.
• Identify growth opportunities that foster organisational projects which impact and improve the Legacy programme.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to raise awareness of legacy giving opportunities within the organisation. Utilise various communication channels, including digital platforms, events, and printed Job Description & Person Specification materials, to effectively promote the importance of legacy giving and its impact on the organisation's mission.

Job summary

Malaria No More UK are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Senior Media and Communications Manager to support the Head of Communications on the leadership, planning and delivery of MNMUK’s media strategy to raise awareness, engage stakeholders and drive support for our cause. This role will support MNMUK’s campaigning and activity in the UK and internationally, working across the organisation and working closely with colleagues leading our advocacy, government relations, political campaigning and partnerships work.  This role will also support MNMUK’s corporate communications work, specifically copywriting our core organisational materials, including board & annual reports.

Key responsibilities  

Communications: 

• Lead and deliver Malaria No More UK’s media strategy, including relationship building with media outlets, journalists and influencers to drive tactical, political and news media coverage.
• Lead on the development and management of pro or low bono partnerships with UK and global media organisations.
• Produce written media materials such as press releases, Q&As and spokesperson briefings.
• Lead and develop MNMUK’s corporate and campaign written materials such as donor reports, annual & board reports, fundraising applications and website copy, ensuring that we have a consistent and powerful style that aligns with our brand, values and creative content approach.
• Advise and support on media activity in other markets, including Kenya.
• Source and manage spokespeople for media and communications opportunities, working closely with our Head of Ambassador Relations & Creative Partnerships and our Strategic Communications and Engagement Manager.  
• Support MNMUK’s Philanthropy and Partnerships team with media and communication support for our corporate partners, institutional donors, and philanthropic foundation partners, including monitoring partner media, developing joint communications, and representing the communications team at partner meetings.
• Act as a key representative of the MNMUK communications team in meetings and planning for our UK campaigning, ensuring other members of the communications team are brought in to support when needed.
• Build external relationships and networking within NGO and communications sectors.
• Keep abreast of trends and best practice in communications and horizon scanning.
• Media monitoring and reporting, including the sourcing and management of databases, platforms and other services to support our media work.

Strategy:  

• Development and implementation of Malaria No More UK’s media work to support our UK and international strategies, including taking responsibility for media planning, reporting and management to allow monitoring of progress against plan.

Qualifications, skills and experience  

Essential 

• A proven track record of working with UK media to support advocacy campaigns for a range of UK and international audiences.
• A deep understanding and experience of political and news media in the UK.
• Exceptional copy writing skills for media and corporate communications products.
• Experience of working with partners and PR agencies to deliver strategic and politically salient media work in international markets.
• Experience of delivering media plans to support collaborative, multi-partner projects and campaigns.
• Experience of working as part of a multi-discipline communications team, integrating media plans alongside digital strategies and creative content.
• Team player, outstanding communicator and influencer.
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to assume leadership responsibilities and informed decisions as required.

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising events team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Now has built up a strong events function, with community and events currently accounting for nearly a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.

We are now looking for an experienced and passionate events manager to lead a team and help us to continue to deliver our targets and identify new opportunities for our challenge events portfolio. This currently comprises of running events, triathlons, cycling events, overseas and UK challenges. You’ll support the creation and delivery of the events strategy, developing a varied and impactful portfolio which positions Breast Cancer Now as the go-to charity for events.

With the support of the senior events manager, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of the Great North Run and Women V Cancer partnership. The post holder will also have their own budget areas working to agreed targets, maximising income, and minimising expenditure through innovative stewardship and strong budget management to maintain engagement and retention of supporters. They will also have line management (not all direct) for 1 event officer, 1 event executive and 1 event assistant.

About you

We’re looking for someone with experience of successfully delivering events programmes, including recruitment of participants, development of supporter journeys and stewardship communications to meet net income and supporter retention targets.

You’ll be an excellent relationship builder, with knowledge of the charity events sector. You’ll be an experienced line manager able to develop your line reports. You’ll also have demonstrable knowledge of setting and meeting financial targets to ensure a good return of investment for the charity.

As well as leading a high performing team we are looking for someone with experience of successfully delivering marketing and recruitment plans, developing supporter journeys and stewardship communications. You’ll be experienced in delivering charity events and possess outstanding organisational, communication and marketing skills. You’ll need to have built excellent relationships with third party event organisers, tour operators and suppliers to the overall benefit of your organisation.

We’re looking for an experienced Creative and Content Manager to head up the team that leads on brand, creative and case study storytelling for the charity. This role is essential in ensuring the success of projects from high-profile public campaigns, to targeted health information for patients and healthcare professionals. It sets standards for creative work and plans for content needs including sourcing real-life stories.

You’ll be a creative all-rounder with a passion for high quality creative work, the importance of a strong brand, the need for great content planning and the power of storytelling in developing successful communications.
