Role Context
The Team Leader is responsible for supporting the development, management, and supervision of the Kentown Support therapeutic offer. The expectation of the Team Leader role is that 50% of their time will be allocated to their supervisory responsibilities, including line management of designated staff. The remainder of their time will be allocated to casework support. The Team Leader will support with contract monitoring and reporting requirements of the service, ensuring high quality delivery, ongoing support for the team, and the growth and development of new projects and initiatives.
Role Purpose
The postholder will provide line management support to staff within this team, ensuring effective case management and supervision. The role will include supporting and working with the CYP and CC Therapy Services Coordinator and Manager and other team members to drive continuous improvements to service delivery as well as ensuring monitoring reports are completed in line with requirements for our commissioners.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Management of staff:
• Provide 1:1 line management supervision and casework support for the designated contract with the CYP and CC Therapy Service Manager’s guidance.
• Identify staff training and development needs as part of supervision and appraisal process.
• Effectively undertake annual appraisals and support staff to meet their Personal Development Plan.
• Lead on the day-to-day oversight of the services in the CYP and CC Therapy Coordinator’s absence (avoid booking annual leave during this same time when possible).
• Ensure referrals are allocated appropriately in line with team members’ targets and capacity with support and guidance.
• Develop training plans for new starters during their probationary period.
• Lead on the support and supervision for any student social workers and counselling trainees placed within the CYP Team in close collaboration with the Student Social Worker Placement team.
• Provide support around safeguarding issues to the team members together with CYP and CC Therapy Service Coordinator and Manager.
Service Development:
• Lead on the oversight and development of the Kentown Support service, in collaboration with service management.
• Take a solution-focused and evidence-based approach to service challenges.
• Support CYP and CC Therapy Service management in developing policies and procedures in line with best practice.
• Represent the Kentown Support service at meetings, forums, and events where appropriate.
• Undertake initial investigations into complaints relating to the Service as needed.
• To assist in the development of the Service by working with other VCSE organisations, schools, and statutory and NHS bodies to enhance the wellbeing and resilience of their service users.
• Implement HR processes as appropriate and agreed, reporting issues upwards whilst seeking to intervene at the earliest opportunity so as to seek a resolution.
Contract Monitoring:
• Report to the CYP and CC Therapy Service Manager on the delivery of the Kentown Support Service on a regular basis.
• To lead on service monitoring and reporting to ensure it is completed in line with contract requirements.
• To meet with commissioners and funders as required to support the service.
Providing therapeutic support to individuals:
• Offer therapeutic interventions and support to individuals and families on your caseload. This may be with adults in the family or with children and young people in the family.
• Provide post-bereavement support to family members following the death of a child with a life-limiting condition. This may be families you have already supported in this role, or you may begin to work with new families referred by the CCN team.
• Offer a holistic package of support that is tailored to the needs of the families you are working with. This may include working around their wellbeing, building resilience, and developing coping strategies.
• Employ a flexible approach to the support by offering a mixture of open-ended and time-limited interventions

· Take responsibility for managing an effective and efficient finance function and producing timely reports which enable effective decision-making by the CEO and the Board.

Outline of main duties

Finance
· Provide effective oversight of the day-to-day banking, invoicing, expenses and supplier payments on Sage accounting software.
· Prepare and present timely and accurate financial data for the Finance and Resources Sub Committee and the Board including management accounts, cashflow monitoring, expenditure by funder, variance reporting against budget lines and live forecasts.
· Mange fund accounting including restricted, unrestricted and designated funds and comply with external funders’ requirements.
· Contribute to Finance and Resources Sub Committee meetings and provide advice on financial forecasts, budget planning, policy development, reserves and investments.
· Develop an annual budget for the year ahead and assist the Fundraising Sub Committee to produce budgets for grant proposals and scenario planning.
· Prepare Survive’s accounts for independent examination by the appointed Accountants and hold administrative responsibility for the successful completion of the annual financial statements and the annual report, and the timely submission to the Charity Commission and Companies House.
· Administer the payroll for Survive employees, liaising with the outsourced payroll provider. Make the relevant payments to HMRC including the annual P11D amount. Administer the Survive pension scheme and ensure the correct contributions are paid each month.
· Produce financial monitoring KPIs, statistics and reports for grant applications, funders, Board of Trustees and other organisational and strategic planning as required
· Line manage and develop the Finance and People Administrator.
People
· Deliver the People strand of Survive’s strategy and chair People Sub Committee meetings, maintain and develop People policies and procedures.
· Provide training on Survive’s People policies to the management team to ensure consistency and understanding.
· Provide support for all HR queries including applying policies appropriately.
· Manage staff benefits, calculating entitlements, enrolling onto schemes and answering queries.
· Provide information on the Survive pension scheme to staff and enrolling them into the scheme as appropriate.
· Source training courses as required and oversee management of Survive’s e-learning accounts. Co-ordinate team training days and ad-hoc training sessions.
· Contribute to the monthly internal newsletter to keep the whole team informed about internal and external news, training opportunities and resources.
· Co-ordinate the annual health and wellbeing survey, and lead on making improvements following inputs and suggestions from the Survive team.
· Oversee maintenance of HR system (HR Breathe) and ensure that data is accurate, complete and up to date.
· Maintain existing and work towards gaining new accreditations such as Disability Confident.
· Support hiring managers with the recruitment process including placing adverts, receiving and anonymising applications, arranging interviews. Be part of the shortlisting and or interviewing panels as required.
· Prepare and deliver organisational inductions to all new employees and volunteers.
· Maintain and oversee efficient HR administration for the joiners and leavers processes.
· Monitor the data that Survive holds for staff, volunteers and trustees in order to comply with organisational policy and UK GDPR.

Qualifications
- Qualified by experience or hold a professional accounting qualification. HR qualification preferable.
Experience, knowledge and skills
- Understanding of financial and HR systems (we use Sage and Breathe HR) and Microsoft Office packages.
- Understanding of charity finance including reporting on restricted income and expenditure and managing reserves.
- Experience of managing payroll and pension administration processes.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data management, able to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Position: Programme Officer
Reporting to: Senior Programme Manager
Location: Sidcup, Greater London, and hybrid working of 1 day in the office and 4 days remote (subject to change)
Contract Type: Permanent and full-time
Starting Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 gross per annum (based on experience) plus benefits
Purpose
The Programme Officer will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation of project delivery activities across our portfolio, predominantly in Africa, Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
The post holder will support project delivery, ensuring quality expectations (internal and client), delivering within the scope and budgeted resources of projects, and in line with project timelines. The post holder will work closely with other members of the project delivery team, our technical team, delivery partners, and consultants to ensure projects maximise their positive impact.
The Programme Officer will also support the Senior Programme Manager to disseminate good management practice across the organisation, and advise on delivery approaches.
Main Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Programme Officer include the following:
Project Support
- Provide support to Programme Managers in the delivery of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope and comply with client contracts
- Take on the project management of assigned select projects within a determined budget/complexity threshold, ensuring that they are delivered to time and quality
- Set-up and monitor project workplans, including change requests ensuring that approvals are formally recorded and filed
- Manage day-to-day relationships with delivery partners and internal team(s) and build a solid understanding of delivery needs and timelines across projects
- Monitor and support timely client and consultant billing and invoices attached to delivery
- Support onboarding of consultants for new projects, including due diligence checks and contract preparation based on set templates
- Ensure project management software and tools are accurate and kept up to date for allocated projects
- Provide timely responses to client queries and alert the Head of UK/Kenya Programme Management of any potential risks
- Lead duty of care and travel planning for staff and consultants, working alongside administrative officers
- Liaise closely with technical colleagues, Head of team, and Programme Managers / Officers on project support needs.
Project Financial Management
- Monitor project budget performance, capturing variances and liaising with the Finance Team and Head of UK/Kenya Programme Management
- Monitor and support the processing of consultants’ expenses/fees against contracts and client invoices against contracts
- Make recommendations to ensure financial outcomes are met with respect to time, quality and cost, and provide early warning of project overspend
- Prepare internal project update reporting including finances and resourcing using required management tools.
Organisational Support and Business Development
- Provide support in strengthening policies, procedures, and management tools for Development Pathways
- Coordinate with wider project teams to ensure technical capacity is well planned across Development Pathways’ portfolio of projects
- Signpost colleagues to relevant project management tools and processes, when required
- Support project closure processes as required, capturing and sharing lessons internally
- Provide ad hoc input to evolving organisational requirements as directed by senior members
- Assist with the identification and monitoring of business opportunities in donor markets, as requested
- Update SharePoint and ensure project data sheets are developed and up to date to facilitate bids for tenders
- Collate and share project information to support the Business Development and Communications department.
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
The Programme Officer will require the following combination of applied skills, knowledge, and behaviours to successfully contribute to team goals:
Required:
- An undergraduate degree in an appropriate subject
- Up to 2 years’ experience working on project support or delivery within international development, research and/or the consultancy sector
- Ability and confidence to work independently and manage their own workflows
- Good communication skills and an ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders at the individual level and in representation of the organisation
- Excellent drafting skills.
- Ability to understand and effectively analyse and utilise financial information
- Proven ability to resolve problems, anticipate barriers and create practical solutions
- High IT proficiency (Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), SharePoint, etc.)
- Demonstrated attention to detail ensuring quality standards are maintained
- Ability to travel internationally when required.
Advantageous:
- 1-2 years direct project management experience
- Proficiency in additional languages, especially Arabic or French.

Women at the Well is a support service for women based in the King’s Cross area of central London. We provide practical support and advocacy to women facing a wide range of disadvantages, and we have a specialism in working with women whose lives have been affected by prostitution and/or sexual exploitation. We are trauma informed, holistic and woman-centred. We deliver our mission through three interconnected services:
1. A women only drop-in service
2. An advocacy service
3. An outreach service

About the Role
As Advice Manager, you’ll take a strategic lead on developing our advice service to ensure it is accessible and high-quality, and also actively challenge the root causes of inequality. The Advice Manager will have wide ranging responsibilities for the performance, quality assurance and development of internal advice services and will be responsible for achieving and evidencing high quality positive outcomes for service users.
You will Manage our advice teams: Information Navigation, Benefits Advice, Money Advice and our benefits advice contract with South West London and St Georges. We also administer a number of grants on behalf of local grant giving charities and the local authority and you will manage the administration of these grant funds.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
This is a critical frontline leadership role that is responsible for the operation of the organisation’s homelessness and rough sleeping services at Anchor House.
You will provide operational leadership to support services managers and ensure compliance with organisational, contractual, local authority and legal regulations and requirements. You will ensure the quality of services is pushed to the highest standards possible, ensuring excellent outcomes for residents and a positive and high performing working environment for teams.
This role will also be accountable for building and maintenance of excellent relationships with external partners, commissioners, other key stakeholders for support services in the organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Service Delivery
· Lead in setting organisational standards and performance targets across the support services that reflect contractual requirements and organisational standards.
· Actively promote and develop person centred practices based on a trauma informed approach and psychologically informed environment to working with residents with high support needs and challenging behaviour.
· Be accountable for the operational performance of the services, allocating resources strategically to ensure that key performance indicators are achieved and that action plans are in place where required to improve service performance.
· Promote accountability and co-production approaches with residents.
· Support with the creation and review of local and service wide policies and procedures.
· As part of the Frontline Services Leadership Team, ensure the support services team follow established Health & Safety and building management procedures

Stakeholder Management
