About you:

We’re looking for a driven and detail focused professional to join our Housing Services Team as a Senior Housing and Income Officer. In this pivotal role, you’ll help ensure our housing services remain financially secure while supporting our clients to sustain their tenancies and build brighter futures. Working closely with our Housing Services and Supported Accommodation teams, you’ll combine practical problem solving with empathy and determination to make sure every client has the best chance to thrive.

You’ll take ownership of rent income management - overseeing complex accounts, tackling arrears, approving adjustments, and managing legal actions with precision and care. You’ll spot risks early, keep everything running to time, and ensure our policies are followed to the letter. Alongside this, you’ll share your knowledge with frontline teams, providing guidance, training and benefit updates that empower others to achieve consistent, high-quality rent collection.

The weekly working hours are 37.5 hrs, to be completed between 9am-5pm Mon- Fri, with occasional need to work outside of these times in the event of an emergency.

About the role

This is a pivotal leadership role, supporting the Chief Executive and Board with organisational development, risk oversight, and the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred services.

This executive leadership role shapes the strategic direction of Emerging Futures, overseeing HR, Quality, Safeguarding, and Performance functions. It drives organisational strategy across people, culture, innovation, and service delivery, ensuring alignment with the charity’s values and sector trends in substance misuse and homelessness.

Key responsibilities include leading HR strategy—covering recruitment, workforce development, staff wellbeing, inclusion, and compliance—and overseeing quality assurance, clinical governance, and safeguarding to ensure robust risk management and continuous improvement.

The role also leads the development of outcome measurement frameworks, promotes data-driven decision-making, and collaborates with operational leaders to support service innovation and performance. This role is home based, however as you are leading remote teams across the country, very regular travel to EF sites/offices will be required.

About you

You will have proven senior leadership experience in HR (ideally at Head of HR or Director level) in the voluntary, housing, health, or social care sector. You should also have:

• Level 7 CIPD Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management or equivalent, plus relevant experience
• Strategic understanding of workforce, service delivery, and governance issues in substance use, homelessness, or complex needs sectors
• Demonstrated success in embedding quality and assurance frameworks across complex, dispersed services.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, risk management, and performance improvement frameworks.

Purpose of the job

The Senior Hr & Operations Officer is responsible for the charity’s day to day HR and operational functions to ensure efficiency and compliance. The role involves managing recruitment, onboarding and mandatory training records whilst maintaining accurate HR records.

About the role

Reporting in to the Global Head of Programme Policy and Practice, the Gender Justice Lead is designated as the single point of accountability for gender justice leadership across the organisation, including for policy and advocacy aligning with organisational values and goals.

The post-holder will directly lead on gender justice work as a standalone issue, while also overseeing the gender mainstreaming work led by the Senior Gender Adviser. The role is responsible for co-developing a thematic strategy, collaborating with the Strategy and Learning Manager in organisational effectiveness.

The role is ultimately accountable for the delivery of the thematic strategy on Gender (both mainstreamed and standalone work) and for reporting progress towards this at regular intervals to measure success and maximise impact, and provides strategic oversight of Christian Aid’s gender thematic global policy and advocacy work in global spaces to ensure the advocacy maximum impact.

The role collaborates with partners and faith groups, providing public policy analysis, positioning, research and writing, and is rooted in evidence and theological reflection to foster a mindset of connection. The post-holder will manage the Senior Gender Adviser.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Gender Justice Lead include:

• Co-develop, create and deliver a thematic strategy for the whole of the Gender Justice thematic priority, including policy and advocacy components, clear measures of progress and impact/success which are then reported against at regular intervals aligning with organisational values and goals.
• Manage the Senior Gender Adviser to clearly contribute to the delivery of the strategy, and to support and collaborate with programmes and partners to achieve organisational standards on gender mainstreaming, protection and inclusion.
• Lead as the organisational technical expert on gender justice programming, particularly as a standalone thematic focus, and collaborate with staff across the Impact and Income & Public Engagement departments so they are able to draw on gender justice expertise – ours and our partners’ – in order to design, fundraise for and facilitate the delivery of strong signature programme
  work on gender justice, maximising impact and income.
• Provides strategic oversight of the organisation’s policy and advocacy work on gender, supported by the Senior Gender Adviser, to maximise impact.
• Develops, shapes, steers and delivers Christian Aid’s thematic public policy analysis on gender, positioning, and research and writing, rooting this in programme experience and theological reflection, and promotes the exchange of ideas and knowledge, to maximise impact.
• Foster a culture of learning and improvement by identifying best practice among our partners and facilitating knowledge sharing across partners; by commissioning (or directly undertaking when appropriate) research and learning reviews to evidence good practice and course correct where needed.

• Lead and build external networks so Christian Aid’s work on gender justice is presented and promoted nationally and internationally, including in global advocacy spaces, resulting in 1) an enhanced organisational profile within the sector to maximise our impact, 2) a portfolio of work that is innovative and in line with sector best-practice, 3) a pool of potential partners to engage and work with.
• Programme advisory and resource materials on gender justice are developed on the basis of organisational values, goals, strategies, adaptive programming approaches, and informed by ongoing learning of Christian Aid.

Whether assisting students and residents on a daily basis, supporting weekend residentials, conferences and events, or working with the team which delivers our annual Foundation Celebration, this role is at the heart of providing a welcoming campus environment.

The Campus Accommodation and Hospitality Manager will lead a team of reception and housekeeping staff to deliver and administer a full range of campus services. As well as providing an efficient and welcoming reception service, this includes the management of meeting rooms, accommodation booking, achieving and maintaining high standards of housekeeping, and overseeing contracted catering and refreshment services. The postholder will be part of a committed staff team, giving and receiving support to deliver the operational needs of the Foundation in a way which reflects our ethos of hospitality, care and community. 

This is a full-time role, with some evening and weekend work during weekend residentials and other events. The postholder will also participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Key responsibilities

1. To manage the delivery of accommodation and hospitality operations.

• Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors from diverse backgrounds and denominations.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of hospitality services including accommodation, catering and menus, and support for conferences and events.
• Represent the staff team on hospitality matters at the Foundation’s residents’ and community forum meetings
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service across all facilities
• Liaise with Facilities Manager regarding maintenance needs arising in meeting rooms and accommodation 

2. To manage a team of hospitality staff.

• Draw up duty rotas for the Hospitality team based on varying operational need.
• Provide ongoing support, training, and development for team members.
• Carry out line management responsibilities in line with the Foundation’s HR policies and procedures

3. To manage the delivery of events and conferences.

• Generate quotes for events and conferences in consultation with internal and external organisers
• Support marketing for events, conferences, and other campus activities
• Oversee the Hospitality team to ensure effective administration for the smooth delivery of hospitality for teaching, residentials, events and conferences.
• Oversee room bookings, check-ins/outs, ensuring smooth turnaround of all accommodations between occupancy.

4. Procurement

• Manage procurement for hospitality goods and services in consultation with the Management Accountant and the Director of Operations.
• Monitor costs and implement efficiencies while maintaining quality.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director-level communications professional with a strong background in knowledge translation of technical information to different audiences internationally. 

Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Director of Communications & Knowledge Translation will provide strategic leadership for all Health Care Without Harm Europe’s Communications and KT activities. The Director will lead exciting new digital KT initiatives in line with our new Strategy and as a key part of a small, high-performing team working at the timely intersection of health and the environment. S/he will lead and support all of the organisation’s engagement and communication with target audiences, so that they achieve maximum impact on European healthcare policy and practice in support of the organisation’s mission. 

The post is for an initial 12-month period, at a critical time of development for the organisation’s communications and KT activities. We intend to make the post permanent thereafter, subject to receiving sufficient funding, and we have high hopes that this will be the case.

We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver and develop services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. The third is leading outreach to identify and engage hidden Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). The regular days will be Wednesday - Friday, However flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

• Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable groups

The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools.
