The Role 

The Senior Digital and Content Manager leads the development and delivery of Malaria No More UK’s digital content strategy — shaping how we inspire action, influence decision-makers and elevate diverse voices to drive progress against malaria. 
 
This is a pivotal role at a pivotal moment. You’ll design and deliver a digital engagement strategy that advances our advocacy and policy change goals, responds to the fast-moving communications landscape, and builds understanding, belief and momentum for investing in the fight to end malaria. 
 
Combining strategic thinking, creative storytelling and digital innovation, you’ll position Malaria No More UK as a bold, credible and solutions-focused voice in the global malaria fight. Managing one staff member (Digital Engagement Officer), you’ll collaborate across the organisation to ensure our digital strategy delivers measurable influence and impact — while staying true to our brand voice: togetherness, momentum and possibility. 

The average day in this role will be changeable, so being flexible and good under pressure is essential. From crafting last minute social storytelling posts, to overseeing creative content work being developed, looking ahead to create strategic plans for major events and campaigns coming up, to feeding back on creative work and liaising with multiple partners for sign off. It is a fast-paced role that requires a can-do approach.

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership 

• Lead the development and execution of Malaria No More UK’s digital content strategy, aligning it with organisational priorities and malaria advocacy goals. 

• Build digital capability across the organization. 

• Shape a cohesive digital narrative that brings together science, economics, innovation and lived experience, highlighting the people and ideas driving progress against malaria. 

• Position Malaria No More UK’s digital storytelling to make a compelling case for investment: to end malaria in our lifetime, save lives and unlock billions in shared growth and prosperity. 

• Develop digital strategies that turn uncertainty in malaria financing into opportunities for leadership, influence and renewed commitment. 

• Define objectives and KPIs for digital engagement, measuring reach, influence and impact across key audiences and contributing to internal and funder reporting. 

• Actively contributes to strategy development across international and UK campaigns, championing the role of digital communications and ensuring creative, impactful approaches are integrated from the outset. 

Content Creation, Storytelling and Publishing 

• Help drive the creation of powerful, multi-channel content that communicates urgency, possibility and impact, ensuring every story moves audiences to act. 

• Collaborating with colleagues to work with scientists, celebrity ambassadors, economists, African business leaders, people with lived experience and creators to share diverse, authentic stories that reinforce the case for investment in ending malaria. 

• Oversee the content calendar, ensuring effective planning and delivery across overlapping communication priorities. 

• Act as the interface between colleagues writing reports and publications, and the Digital Engagement Officer and designer — ensuring best practice in publishing and digital production. 

• Work with creative agencies and partners to produce digital content that supports major advocacy and policy milestones. 

• Uphold Malaria No More UK’s brand voice and values, ensuring inclusivity, dignity and authenticity in all communications. 

• Oversee the organisation’s three brand websites and various campaign sites, including content, performance, and maintenance. 

Collaboration and Leadership 

• Manage and mentor the Digital Engagement Officer, fostering creativity, learning and professional growth. 

• Manage freelance designers and video editors to deliver high-quality digital assets. 

• Along with the Head of Ambassador Relations & Creative Partnerships, build and maintain relationships with digital influencers, media partners and creative collaborators in the malaria and development space. 

• Actively collaborate across teams, ensuring alignment between digital activity, policy priorities and fundraising opportunities. 

Innovation and Insight 

• Stay ahead of emerging digital trends, tools and technologies — including AI — that can amplify influence and advocacy impact. 

• Use data and audience insights to refine approaches and inform decision-making. 

• Champion ethical, inclusive and human-centred storytelling that reflects the strength, innovation and leadership of those driving the malaria fight. 

Experience, Knowledge and Skills 

We’re looking for a creative digital strategist who can turn ideas into impact.  Someone who combines sharp technical know-how with a flair for storytelling, collaboration and purpose-driven campaigning. 

Essential 

• Proven experience leading digital communications and content strategies across multiple platforms to deliver measurable impact. 

• Strong ability to translate complex issues into engaging, shareable content tailored to diverse audiences. 

• Demonstrated success managing digital campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and action. 

• Experience working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary or cross-regional teams, aligning digital outputs with advocacy and fundraising goals. 

• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Donnington Doorstep family centre is an independent, community-based children’s centre. The Finance and Admin Manager is a member of the Senior Management Team with an important role to play in a much loved local charity.

The Finance and Admin Manager will ensure that Donnington Doorstep maintains accurate, usable and appropriate financial systems for banking, payments, invoicing, recording and reporting.  Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:                

· Be directly responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient day-to-day functioning of the centre including the management of the Brazelton Centre UK premises and IT, where applicable.

· Understand the legal and reporting obligations of the Brazelton Centre UK as a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and be responsible for ensuring the Centre meets these obligations including for example filing of annual accounts.

· Work with the Board of Trustees, Director, fundraising colleagues and partner organisations to increase voluntary income to the Centre to fund and trial innovative new services and research opportunities in line with our strategy

·Ensure HR policies are reviewed and updated to ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations and best practice. Develop new policies that are fit for purpose, legally compliant, and embedded within the team. 

·Update, maintain and develop employee handbook, HR templates, processes, and systems to support the delivery of an effective HR function. 

·Manage HR systems ensuring all records are maintained accurately and comply with GDPR.

·Day to day line management of a number of the Brazelton Centre staff including the development of objectives, work plans and monitoring ongoing performance, the management of annual leave and sickness and absence monitoring.

·Oversee the entire employee lifecycle - from induction to exit - while implementing talent retention strategies, performance management systems, and succession planning. 

·Oversee organisational volunteer management, ensuring compliance with policies and alignment with strategic objectives 

·Manage grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with policy. 

·Lead on delivery of annual training plan and annual appraisal process. 

·Oversee day-to-day office management to ensure a warm, inclusive, and safe working environment. 

·Ensure health and safety, compliance, and quality standards are consistently upheld across all HR and operational practices, fostering a safe, legally sound, and high-performing work environment

Support the planning and further development of the Brazelton Centre UK, working to continually extend the reach of our existing NBO and NBAS courses.

·Work with the Director and Board of Trustees, to develop and implement the Brazelton Centre UK’s long-term strategy, and be responsible for the development and delivery of the supporting business plan.

In line with our strategy, where relevant, support the Director to seek new projects, research and funding opportunities related to the aims of the Centre

Promote the activities of the Brazelton Centre UK in enabling the highest standards of service delivery

 General

About the role

We’re looking for a strategic and creative digital communications leader to join our team, overseeing our digital channels, including email, paid and social media. In this role, you will plan, produce and evaluate all kinds of digital content, ensuring it is engaging and accurate, and aligns with our strategic and income-generating goals. You'll work closely with colleagues across The King's Fund to find interesting stories to tell and use insight and data to craft the right assets for our audience and make improvements to our channels. 

You’ll oversee the delivery of marketing and communications campaigns across multiple channels and enjoy both the creative and technical aspects of channel and community management. You'll be a compassionate and inspiring people manager and a confident communicator.

The Policy and Public Affairs Officer will be a member of the External Affairs Team. • Keep up-to-date with current trends and activities by monitoring parliamentary and local government activity relevant to BABCP in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland; notifying and briefing colleagues of relevant political developments and opportunities to influence
• Support reactive policy work such as drafting consultation responses, parliamentary debate briefings and summaries, and letters to policy makers; working with the Senior Clinical Advisor and the Head of External Affairs.
• Liaise with the member engagement manager and the membership team on policy work ensuring member feedback is embedded into policy work.
• Support the delivery of parliamentary events to publicise BABCP’s work including identifying and engaging key stakeholders, managing attendance, preparing and distributing event information, and post-event follow-up.
• Support the Head of External Affairs and the Senior Clinical Advisor in the implementation of a public affairs influencing plan.
• Raise awareness and the profile of BABCP by identifying, and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Deputise for the Head of External Affairs if required, representing BABCP at external meetings.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience in public affairs and policy, preferably within the healthcare, public, or membership sectors.
• Experience of liaising with a range of stakeholders and implementing stakeholder mapping.
• High level of ICT literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and document management systems).
• Strong understanding of UK and/or Irish health policy and parliamentary and legislative processes.
• Excellent communication skills, and an ability to handle complex situations with tact and diplomacy.

The role requires a balance of leadership and practical delivery; a strong social care or health professional who has experience of managing people, financials and delivering projects. Strong experience of working with disabled or vulnerable children or adults and safeguarding knowledge, together with a solid understanding of risk management and health and safety are all important aspects of this role.

We are looking for a confident manager, comfortable leading and coaching our staff and volunteer teams; an appetite to help us to continuously improve, with a focus on consistency, efficiency and quality. As such, we would expect you to be comfortable using IT packages and that you are confident managing financial information such as budgets, as well as analysing data to ensure you are monitoring the performance and impact of our services to ensure they are effective and providing the best value possible. There will always be an opportunity to network with other charities and supporters in the area and we would look to you to be an ambassador for us. Because of our services being spread across West Essex we would require you to be a driver and to have a car available for your use.

Our head office team is based at the Uttlesford District Council offices in Saffron Walden.  We are looking for someone to work with us at least 30 hours per week; and who is flexible in how those hours are worked – most of our clubs operate outside the usual working day and whilst you will not be delivering the clubs routinely it is important you spend time with the teams on site, actively supporting and developing the services you are leading.

We are offering a salary of upto £38,000 FTE dependent on experience and qualification, and in addition we offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme and the opportunity to join a strong management team who are committed to making a difference in our local communities.

The Initiatives and Partnerships Manager plays a key role in the Trust’s Initiatives and Partnerships Team. The post holder will support the development and implementation of the Trust’s projects, manage team members and on occasion support external and partnership projects. Our work is varied, ranging from early-stage feasibility planning, partnership development, fundraising, business planning and design development, as well as supporting our conservation team who lead construction phase oversight. 

This role builds on the successes of the Trust’s longstanding Regeneration programme, which has undertaken pioneering Regeneration projects addressing some of our most pressing conservation needs, as well as developing new operating models for some of the churches in our care. The job will support our regional teams in developing and implementing projects to deliver a range of conservation, social and regeneration benefits; with the balance of each responding to local need, demand and opportunity.

Policy Specialist (Children and Young People)

Are you interested in improving the lives of children and young people with a learning disability? Can you turn complex ideas into evidence-based policy? Are you a skilled communicator able to influence decision-makers? If so, we would love to hear from you!

We are currently looking for a Policy Specialist to join Mencap. This position sits within the Policy and Public Affairs teams of Mencap’s Campaigns, Advocacy and Activism Directorate (CAA). You will work closely with our influencing, information and advice, campaigning, and research work, as well as sector partners like the Disabled Children's Partnership. 

This is an exciting new role to deliver policy change and enhance the rights of children and young people with a learning disability. At a key time to influence Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) education reform, we are seeking a policy specialist to shape policy work that reflects the needs and experiences of children, young people, and their families. Working within the policy team, you will be responsible for developing evidence-based policy work and influencing decision-makers.

This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week). We are flexible with your work location, but there may be some occasional travel needed to our London office or Westminster.

You will: 

• Translate complex work into clear and persuasive policy briefings, consultation responses and reports.
• Work within wider coalitions of charities, building collaborative relationships and ensuring that the needs and priorities of our community are addressed.
• Develop and expand Mencap’s ‘Policy Shapers’ work, ensuring our work reflects the experiences of children and young people with a learning disability and their families.
• Support our information and advice team, briefing them on important developments, inputting into casework discussions relevant to your areas of work, and supporting the creation of public information resources.
• Represent Mencap at meetings and events, with MPs, civil servants, and sector partners.
• Identify and analyse relevant research to develop evidence-based policy recommendations.

You will bring to this role:

• Experience of working on public policy issues.
• Strong communication skills: experience tailoring your messaging to a variety of different audiences and representing an organisation.
• Experience building positive relationships and working collaboratively to achieve outcomes; able to positively challenge, negotiate and compromise.
• The ability to work on your own initiative while contributing to team priorities and sustain enthusiasm under pressure.

• Knowledge the issues facing children and young people with a learning disability and/or the SEND system, as well as the wider parliamentary system.

The Talent Set are partnered with leading Health organisation who is seeking a Senior Media and PR Manager – Policy, Campaigns and Public Health to join their ambitious media and PR team. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as they launch a new five-year strategy this autumn to supercharge efforts to transform lives. This role is a fixed-term, 12-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the delivery of ambitious annual media and PR plans for the charity's policy, campaigns, and public health activities, ensuring alignment with the new overarching strategy.

• Lead media and PR activity to build profile that increases the charity's influence, engagement, and support among target audiences.

• Champion the needs of people affected by breast cancer within the media.

• Engage key policy decision-makers and the NHS with the charity's calls to action.

• Communicate vital early detection health information and messaging to health professionals and the public.

• Digest and translate complex health information and policy subjects into accessible and engaging copy for the media at pace.

• Apply an instinctive news sense to identify proactive and reactive media opportunities to secure impactful media profile and share of voice.

• Work closely with colleagues to forward plan and maintain tight alignment and consistency across all communications output, demonstrating a strategic mindset.

• Play a key part in supporting the day-to-day leadership of the wider media and PR team.

• Effectively prioritise multiple and complex projects, handling conflicting demands and tight deadlines.

Person Specifications

• Excellent ability to build and nurture impactful relationships, both internally and externally, at all levels.

• An effective negotiator with the ability to balance complex and sensitive stakeholder needs to secure media profile that delivers critical information to key audiences.

• A sensitive communicator in interactions with people affected by cancer who support the charity’s work.

• Strong experience working in health communications, and media/PR relations environments.

• A natural planner with a strategic mindset who considers the bigger picture.

• Proven ability to digest and translate complex health information and policy subjects into accessible and engaging copy for media.

• Proven ability to prioritise multiple and complex projects and manage conflicting demands and tight deadlines.

What’s on Offer:

• This is a 12 month FTC, starting as soon as possible. 
• Hybrid working set-up - 2 days a week in central London 
• Salary banding £47,000-£52,000

We’re looking for a dynamic, creative and highly organised individual to join The Hepatitis C Trust as our new Innovation and Implementation Manager. This exciting new role will drive forward our Inclusion Health agenda, helping us design, deliver and scale peer-led services that put lived experience at the heart of change. 

About the role 

The Innovation and Implementation Manager will lead on embedding new models of care within health systems — ensuring our peer-led projects are effectively planned, delivered and sustained. You’ll work closely with NHS and community partners, line manage Peer Leads and Coordinators, and oversee key projects including: 

• Liver Health Peer Support, improving early detection and surveillance for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). 

• Peer-led Needle and Syringe Provision (NSP) and wider harm reduction initiatives. 

You’ll manage project delivery, build strong partnerships, monitor outcomes, and share learning nationally to shape future approaches. 

About you 

We’re looking for someone who: 

• Has experience in project delivery, innovation, or service improvement within health, social care, or the voluntary sector. 

• Understands the value of peer-led and lived experience approaches. 

• Is confident managing teams and building relationships across diverse partners.

• lead, coach and mentor our corporate partnerships team, enabling account managers to retain and grow our portfolio, and thrive in their roles,
• be entrepreneurial and innovative, with a knack for identifying opportunities to grow our income,
• work closely with our corporate development team, who identify and cultivate new partnerships, to ensure all partnerships move seamlessly between teams,
• alongside the Head of Corporate Partnerships, build and implement an ambitious, long-term strategy for portfolio growth.

Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some solid account management experience, specifically managing relationships with high-value accounts, ideally in the charity sector. You’ll be an experienced manager, who can lead, coach and develop a team to hone their skills. You’ll be an excellent communicator, who is comfortable working alongside senior stakeholders internally and externally. Above all, you’ll have a commitment to Dogs Trust and the work we do.
