Senior Grants Systems Specialist

As a Grants Systems Specialist with Clean Air Fund you will play a pivotal role in designing, maintaining, and improving grant management systems and processes across Clean Air Fund. This is a systems-focused role, not a programmatic one, and will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence in grant delivery. The post holder will act as a systems architect, leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, AkoyaGo, and AI tools like Copilot to streamline workflows and enhance data integrity.

Ideally, you will already be an experienced Advice Supervisor. However, we will consider this role as a development opportunity if you are already a qualified Generalist Adviser wanting to progress your career. Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours a week). Working part-time (minimum 21 hours a week) or job-sharing will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £31,294 FTE with potential annual step increases up to £35,086 (pro rata if working part-time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, the trustees consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. We are seeking a proactive and compassionate leader to oversee the operational management and quality of one of our Extra Care services in Battersea, Wandsworth. Prince of Wales Drive has the capacity for 59 residents to live in their own self-contained flats. Some of them are sheltered tenants and at present we serve around 35 residents. You will ensure the delivery of a person-centred and empowering service which meets the needs of our clients. You will be supported by 2 excellent Extra Care Support Coordinators.

Further you will work with the housing provider and service users’ families and friends to promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the service. You must be flexible, energetic and reliable with a well-organised approach to staff deployment and service delivery.

You must have significant practitioner or management experience in relevant health or social care service provision alongside a warm, person-centered and respectful approach. An understanding of CQC quality requirements and care standards is essential. You should have a relevant professional qualification and/or a degree level qualification.

The Head of Fundraising and Communications plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving Bowel Research UK's fundraising strategies and audience engagement initiatives.

This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing the charity’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.

You will have the autonomy and scope to drive elements of your work and take ownership of your own objectives. You will be required to collaborate on decisions to shape and deliver initiatives, programmes and processes as required for each area of income delivery. 

Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising – an area that is underdeveloped at Bowel Research UK. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of Fundraising role, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser.

The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream. Having a background or significant experience in delivery across individual giving is also vital due to the importance of that income stream to Bowel Research UK – the post holder will be the organisations expert in IG.
