Responsibilities

This is what the role might entail

Working alongside CRIN’s Creative Directors and communications team, you will:

• Write engaging and accessible copy for CRIN’s channels (website, social and digital platforms)

• Manage the communications campaigns and digital strategies for CRIN’s projects, events and activities;

• Manage content for our digital platforms in a variety of formats (illustrations, videos, audio and written pieces);

• Develop a new social media strategy and manage our social media channels

• Implement a shift in approach to CRIN’s Instagram, fully weaving it into how we communicate about our work and with our audience — beyond stats and followers — to build a community where there is mutual learning;

• Coordinate tasks for our Digital Designer and Graphic Designer as required;

• Manage CRIN’s newsletter, sending out regular news and updates to our mailing list;

• Manage website maintenance and ensure that key pages on CRIN’s website are kept up to date and search engine friendly;

• Support the Creative Directors’ work, taking CRIN’s existing research and policy work and reimagining it into different formats for different audiences;

• Any other responsibilities discussed with CRIN’s Creative Directors.

Location: UK-based, split between remote work and occasional travel to London office
Hours: 32 hours
Holiday: 22 days pro rata (for 32 hour full-time working week), off for Christmas season

In this varied and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with key media outlets and influencers to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis, the issues faced by people with the condition and Cystic Fibrosis Trust across the UK. You will also support the delivery of the Trust’s internal communications activity and support the Events and Celebrity Liaison Manager in managing the Trust's external events programme and cultivating and retaining key celebrity supporters and influencers.

As a member of the Communications Team, you will help develop external and internal communications on our research portfolio, policy and campaigning work and fundraising initiatives. You will also proactively monitor and look for opportunities for timely responses to the news agenda on social media.

With a fantastic nose for a story, you will have outstanding writing skills and be able to turn complex issues into compelling stories to pitch to journalists and to share with staff. You will be aware of the UK’s charity, healthcare, and policy landscape and have a keen eye on the news agenda, keeping abreast of developing trends and spotting opportunities to pitch comment pieces and reactive statements.

About the role

In this role, you will play a vital part in the RCOG’s mission to improve the lives of women and girls around the world, through the delivery of creative communications campaigns and high-impact media stories. • Oversee our busy press office, ensuring we maintain strong media relations and are achieving high impact coverage on College priorities

In this role, you take responsibility for developing new and existing relationships with our celebrity supporters and their agents, stewarding their journey with the charity and making them strong and dedicated advocates across our strategic priorities. You’ll bring creative and proactive ideas ensuring we’re prioritising requests to maximise the potential of our high profile supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

· Implement and own our celebrity strategy and individual stewardship plans to support this, resulting in highly committed and engaged high profile supporters.

· Lead on outreach and negotiation with new, potential supporters for charity activities.

· Manage and prioritise requests for VIP support from across the charity ensuring that they are aligned with our strategic aims.

· Be the first point of contact for celebrities looking for support, signposting them within the charity or acting as intermediary for confidential requests.

· Take responsibility for the management and development of the Celebrity Officer.

· Work with colleagues across the charity to maximise our celebrity supporters across all communications channels, highlighting new opportunities as they arise.

· Make sure that our celebrity supporters are well briefed and up to date with key messages.

· Ensure that our celebrity activity is tracked, reported and evaluated to show the value they bring to the charity.

Person Specification:

· Extensive experience of working strategically with celebrities and their management teams.

· Creative and proactive approach to celebrity engagement and ongoing stewardship.

Look Good Feel Better is a national cancer charity devoted to delivering workshops that help people living with a cancer diagnosis to cope with the physical and emotional side effects of their treatment. About the role

About the role 

As Artists & Influencer Manager, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage and deliver complex projects in support of Save the Children's campaigns. This is an exciting role where you will get to engage with artists and influencers for various exciting campaigns including Christmas Jumper Day.

You will work with the rest of the A&I team to build a strong roster of high-profile supporters, influencers and ambassadors, stewarding them to become passionate advocates for children's rights, delivering audience cut-through, fundraising objectives and helping build Save the Children's brand.

In this role, you will: 

• Alongside the A&I team, be responsible for identifying and delivering the right blend of high profile personalities to support projects, activities and objectives across PR, digital, events, campaigning, partnerships and other. 
• Spot opportunities and devise A&I activations that raise awareness and visibility of Save the Children amongst key target audiences with the aim of recruiting new supporters and encouraging them to take action. 
• Develop and maintain relationships with current artists and influencers, developing their involvement with Save the Children in creative and innovative ways.
• Target and recruit new A&I supporters, whilst nurturing long term relationships with a view where relevant, to eventual commitment on Ambassador level.  Keep up to date with supporters' broader schedules, spotting new opportunities for engagement as they arise.
• Write and present inspiring proposals for artists, agents, managers and publicists, creating and defining the right pitch for the right potential ambassador.

The post holder will help to champion and manage the PAPYRUS brand and support the delivery of our projects and services through developing engaging and targeted content. They will act as the day-to-day lead on our social media planning and scheduling, as well as blog writing and storytelling.

What you will do:

Lead on the PAPYRUS social media planning and scheduling, utilising a social media management suite such as Hootsuite, or similar.

Develop the charity’s online presence by exploring new opportunities and channels to appeal to different audiences;

Produce creative designs and artwork for print and digital requirements, utilising in-house design tools and software (including Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva);
