Job description

Partnerships Manager
Salary: £26,000 - £32,240
Location: Chorley, Lancashire with hybrid working

Do you want to work for an incredible local youth charity that has state-of-the-art facilities and activities that are indispensable to thousands of young people in Lancashire? This includes everything from arts and drama studios, to cooking classes, a sports hall and employability workshops. But, it's so much more than that.

This charity also supports vulnerable young people with challenging, gritty issues through its team of qualified youth workers, often in collaboration with social services. Dealing with everything from mental and sexual health to support with healthy relationships, and helping young people to connect with their voices and identities.

You'll be responsible for working with high-value donors through campaigns and a brand-new sponsorship strategy, developing and nurturing new business relationships and securing and stewarding patrons and corporate income.

What makes this your special new year, new job?

* See and hear first-hand the amazing young people you are fundraising for and the impact your work has on their lives - the youth zone is an energising hive of fun, energy and activity
* Brand-new role as part of growth plan meaning you have autonomy to own the strategy and make it your own
* Strong local support and relationships, ripe for a talented business developer
* Autonomy and encouragement to try new things, create new products and develop innovative sponsorship packages
* Opportunity to work at CEO, Director and Board level with big brands and companies

This role would suit either an experienced fundraiser with existing high-value relationship experience (corporate, major donor), or a sales/business development professional experienced in building partnerships with decision-makers and looking for a change of direction.

Most importantly, you'll have a genuine passion for giving every young person the opportunity to reach their individual potential.

If you are interested in this role, please get in touch with a copy of your CV to Amelia Lee at Charity People who will be happy to provide lots more information.

Only because this role has been previously advertised, applications will now be reviewed on a rolling basis, so please get in touch as early as you can to avoid disappointment.

Final deadline: 30th January
