Role Description

The Programme Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of all student related events. This will include having a full understanding of the SEO-London law programmes; understanding the legal industry that the programme supports; how these fits into the SEO-London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events. In turn this role will be responsible for using data to run reports to show the impact of each programme.   

Reporting to the Head of Law Programme, you will make recommendations for possible changes and ideas to further support the student experience. The role will also ensure a seamless and professional level of customer care to all students of the Corporate Law Programme and City Solicitors Horizons scheme. 

Accountabilities  

DAY TO DAY DELIVERY OF EVENTS  

• Responsible for the overall administration of all student events, with specific responsibility to ensure student communication is exceptional. Including event management, student and partner communication and coordination of all the relevant stakeholders, along with posting roles on opportunities pages, promoting events and managing the law commercial awareness newsletter content.   

  
STUDENT MANAGEMENT & QUERY HANDLING   
   

• Responsible for the relationship management of the students - including the ability to understand needs, resolve issues and anticipating and creating a strong relationship on behalf of SEO-London  

• Responsible for managing student query escalations and to identify where there are opportunities to improve communication, marketing, or the type of events  

• Responsible for managing the programme inbox (where applicable)  

• Responsible for identifying creative and innovative ways to connect, educate and train students 

• Provide oversight of cv support, screening, and recruitment preparation   

• Responsible for attending campus events and representing SEO-London professionally with knowledge and enthusiasm  

• Organise mentoring and buddying allocations   

 QUALITY ASSURANCE  

• Responsible for ensuring that all information relating to the events and student data is managed within the GDPR guidelines and is updated in Salesforce effectively for tracking purposes.  Responsible for running reports to track and monitor events from the CRM. 

Required qualifications 

• A Law degree (LLB) or a combined degree such as Law with another subject

Skills & Experience

Role Summary

The purpose of this role is to support and ensure end-to-end delivery across Wales within the Programme and Delivery team. The current focus is within our Creative Careers offer, however, this could evolve in terms of scope to include other flagship programmes in the future. This role will be crucial for liaising with Welsh schools, creative employers, speakers and the wider charity to coordinate and ensure best practices in programmatic delivery,  ensuring alignment with programme wide expectations and KPIs. Essentially, this role is the glue between Futures For All, stakeholder outreach and schools’ partners within Wales. The role will be crucial in coordinating and ensuring successful delivery of different programmatic interventions including, but not limited to, school talks, workshops and work experience for young people in Wales. efforts across that nation to successfully provide end-to-end deliver for Wales’s Creative Talks, Workshops and work experiences and achieve the aims.This includes working with the Futures For All programme teams (Work Experience and Speakers for Schools Teams), and our internal Evaluation and Education teams. 

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Strategic purpose

• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Talks and Work Experience opportunities from initial scoping with schools to securing commitments from speakers and employers, monitoring young person applications, programme design and implementation, and stakeholder follow up.  
• Nurturing relationships with key delivery partners to ensure employers or school introduced to the programme are seamlessly onboarded. 
• Working with partners in securing commitments from speakers and employers to deliver talks, workshops and multi-day work experience opportunities.  

• Account management and stewarding for speakers and employers throughout their journey.  

• Preparing employers and speakers to use all speaker and work experience guidance in the coordination and delivery of their placements, including but not limited to Portal and Google Classroom.  

• Working closely with Delivery Partners to ensure seamless delivery of opportunities.  

• Leading on all speaker and employer engagement and meetings with your dedicated contacts/accounts.  

• Work with evaluation team on developing and disseminating impact reports within your specific nation.

• Working closely with Education team to ensure school engagement is in line with charity’s mission

• Delivering training sessions to schools and colleges on our programmes and building on engagement in Wales.

• Building partnerships as determined by needs of the DCMS contract and education partners.

• Developing long-standing relationships with school and college contacts to enable engagement in and implementation of our product offer.  

Delivery:

• Providing best practice guidance and advice on programme set up and content.  

• Responsible for delivery and completion of own work experience placements and the operational and administrative activity required.  

• Taking ownership of own capacity management using capacity management frameworks to help inform future workload planning.  

• Adherence to data compliance, standards, guidelines and best practices to ensure our data integrity and consistency.  

• Retain our registered schools and colleges in our network and increase engagement levels in all programmes.  

• Ensuring all data relating to KPIs is accurate, recorded and presented in reports when required.

• Programme Coordination experience, with complex stakeholder management
• Experience and knowledge of the education and careers landscape in Wales.

Global Programs Events and Project Coordinator

Job summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Support

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of event logistics.

• Manage delegate booking systems, taking ownership for providing prompt and professional support to attendees and stakeholders via phone, messaging and email, and delivering excellent delegate care throughout events.

Cultural Adaptation & Coordination

Evaluation & Reporting

• Assist in tracking the performance of content and programs through data collection, feedback, and engagement analytics to support evaluation of effectiveness.

We are looking to recruit a Mentoring Programme Co-ordinator that will work to expand The Salvation Army’s Starfish programme across the East of England Division. Starfish is a mentoring programme designed to work with children and young people in schools, aged 9-16 years.

Working within a school’s student wellbeing support, Starfish provides committed and trusted adults (mentors) to work with young people who need Early Help without which they would be at risk of not meeting their full potential. Their identified needs may relate to their health, educational or social development.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and grow the Starfish Schools Mentoring Programme within local primary and secondary schools ensuring efficient and effective delivery and monitoring.
• Recruit and support volunteer Starfish mentors from the local Salvation Army corps and other churches in line with Salvation Army volunteer and Safe & Sound guidelines.
• Support and supervise volunteer coordinators / mentors including identifying and facilitating relevant training.
• Oversee all pupil referrals to the programme, ensuring all relevant information and reports are submitted to schools. Attending multi-agency meetings when required.
• Provide one-to-one mentoring with pupils to increase participation in education, with a focus around emotional health and wellbeing including personal development and life skills, guided by a Trauma Informed Practice approach.

The successful candidate will have:

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join IRMO as our Youth Project Coordinator and lead the Latin American Youth Forum (LAYF) – IRMO’s youth-led group for migrant and refugee young people aged 13–19.

LAYF offers a safe, supportive and trilingual space (Spanish, Portuguese and English) where young people can overcome barriers and begin to find their feet in the UK. Activities are designed to build confidence, support integration and foster leadership. Through the programme, participants can learn English through fun and engaging ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, take part in weekly educational, arts-based and themed workshops, and receive one-to-one support through a targeted coaching programme focused on education, volunteering and employment.

Young people also have the opportunity to join the LAYF Youth Steering Group, where they can develop leadership skills and inspire other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking young people, while exploring London and beyond through cultural trips and residentials.

As Youth Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for registering and onboarding new participants, designing and delivering a creative weekly programme of LAYF Space Workshops, and offering one-to-one mentoring to help young people access opportunities and build confidence. You’ll work closely with IRMO’s ESOL and Advice and Advocacy teams to ensure a joined-up and holistic approach.

• Signpost and refer young people to relevant services at IRMO, BYB or other external partners

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including registration forms, attendance, surveys, feedback, session plans and coaching logs

• Input and manage baseline and progress data using IRMO’s database and monitoring tools

• Produce compelling case studies and success stories to share with young people, funders and supporters

• Ensure the wellbeing and safety of all participants, following IRMO’s safeguarding policies and National Youth Agency (NYA) guidance

What experience is needed?

• Someone with experience, knowledge or interest of working with local communities, with a focus on people-centred delivery and fostering collaboration

• Some experience and understanding of what it takes to manage a project on time and to a high standard

• Prior experience in community development, youth work, grant making, or facilitation to support inclusive programme design

• Understanding of how to work with community groups, people and organisations from different cultures and backgrounds

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative programmes team and play a key role in the successful delivery of educator development and teacher training programmes across the UK.
