Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic charity to recruit for the Global Events Manager (fundraising) in order to lead an ambitious, donor focused events programme across the UK, Europe, and the US.

You will be responsible for designing and executing a global calendar of in person and virtual fundraising events, ranging from exclusive briefings and immersive donor experiences to high profile receptions.

This role is perfect for someone who is both strategic and hands on, comfortable leading on event design and delivery, while also managing logistics, tracking impact, and building cross functional relationships. You will play a key role in growing income through donor stewardship and creative engagement.

As a Global Events Manager you will:

  • Leading the development and delivery of a global events strategy focused on mid and high value donors
  • Planning and executing virtual and in person events that inspire giving and deepen donor relationships
  • Collaborating with international fundraising and communications teams to align events with  strategic goals
  •  Managing event budgets, logistics, post event analysis, and reporting
  • Acting as a key ambassador for the organisation’s mission and values at all events
  • Supporting donor stewardship through bespoke experiences, storytelling, and innovation

 

To be successful, you must have experience:

  • A proven track record in managing successful fundraising events (in person and virtual)
  • Experience working with mid level and major donors, with excellent relationship management skills
  • Strong project management abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent) and digital engagement tools
  • A collaborative mindset, with international experience or cultural awareness a plus

 Salary: up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

 Contract type:Permanent, Full-time (37 hours/week).

 Location- Godalming, Surrey (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)
