We are looking for a Legacy Marketing and In Memory Manager to be responsible for delivering the legacy marketing programme as well as excellent stewardship of Legacy and In Memory supporters.

This is a London hybrid role with ideally 2 days a week in the office, there could be flexibility with this

The Role
Work with the Head of Individual Giving and Legacies to develop the Legacy marketing and In Memory strategies and devise and implement meaningful supporter journeys.

Deliver programmes across direct, digital, video and internal channels to increase future income from Gifts in Wills and In Memory fundraising.

Plan legacy events including identifying potential audiences/invitees, sourcing venues, arranging engaging speakers, and presenting content.

The Candidate
Demonstrable experience in creating and managing Legacy and/or In Memoriam Marketing campaigns for a charity.

Experience of managing full mix marketing including direct mail, telemarketing, email and online campaigns.

Experience of managing a campaign budget.

· Building and managing strong relationships with key external stakeholders

Developing relationships, partnerships and networks to help raise the profile, credibility and influence of Trussell and our policy positions, particularly in the UK Parliament.  Representing Trussell and promoting the organisation’s policy position to key audiences, including in meetings and events with Parliamentarians.

· Developing public affairs support to the food bank community

Working closely with a small team of Network Policy and Research Officers and the Organising and Local Mobilisation team to support our community of food banks to build and maintain strong relationships with their local MPs.  Ensuring public affairs activity is well aligned to campaign strategies involving the food bank network.

· Embedding participatory approaches across our public affairs and wider influencing activity

Supporting further development of a participatory approach to policy influencing to ensure it is rooted in the lived experience of individuals affected by poverty.  This includes ensuring an ethical approach in line with our values.

· Providing advice and line management

Have line management responsibility for individuals within the team, providing pastoral and development guidance along with task management on key projects.  This includes regular 1:1s, objective setting and collaborative monitoring, and support with development needs.

Person Specification

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

Home based – Remote

GamCare is looking for dedicated Night Shift Helpline Advisers to provide essential support to those affected by gambling-related harm.

GamCare offers helpline support through multiple channels, including our Freephone Helpline, Live Chat, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms such as forums and chatrooms. The Helpline operates 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring support is always available.

As the first point of contact, you will offer help, advice, and emotional support to individuals struggling with their own or someone else’s gambling. You will work exclusively on night shifts as part of our award-winning Helpline team (Helpline of the Year), following a two-week rotating schedule with shifts running from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM.

The working hours are 28 hours per week (average). Hours are between 10.30pm and 7.30am.

In return, we will provide you with comprehensive training, regular supervision, and a full CPD programme to support your development.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will hold a professional qualification in Health, Social Care, Psychology, Youth or Community Care, such as NVQ Level 3 or above, or a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies, Advice, and Guidance. Alternatively, you will have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable individuals affected by addiction harm and/or complex needs.

The International Organization for Migration in the UK (IOM UK) delivers a range of programming to support migrants, both in the UK and internationally, including projects focusing on protection, modern slavery and human trafficking, diaspora engagement, migration and development, and provision of immigration advice.

This position will support IOM’s work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, in coordination with the Programme Coordinator, and the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission of IOM UK. Working in close coordination with relevant country offices, units at our HQ in Geneva, Regional Office in Brussels and unit heads at the IOM London, the incumbent will assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of relevant migrant support projects managed by IOM London, in particular related to the voluntary return and reintegration of survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK. The incumbent will also liaise with external stakeholders on matters related to communications, project development and reporting as well as may represent IOM in external forums and meetings.

Responsabilities:

1. Support the implementation of an IOM project which is improving the capacities of UK support providers who assist survivors of modern slavery with voluntary return or repatriation to their countries of origin.
2. Assist with the implementation of the operational activities of the relevant projects, including the organisation of project events, project research, implementation of communications activities, and outreach to project stakeholders including government counterparts, diaspora, private sector, civil society and the UN.
3. Assist with the timely preparation and submission of all project donor reports (both narrative and financial).
4. Maintain close communication with the relevant IOM country offices (especially Albania, Brazil, China, India, Pakistan, Romania and Viet Nam) to collate and verify that data sent from the missions regarding the project is of high quality and in accordance with the donor’s requirements

About the Role

As our Legacy Officer, you will be at the heart of one of the most important projects in AWIP’s future.

You will:

• Build warm, trusting relationships with legacy pledgers and prospects.

• Respond to supporter enquiries about Gifts in Wills.

• Steward confirmed pledgers through personalised updates, thank you letters, and occasional calls or events.

• Maintain accurate CRM records for legacy prospects and pledgers.

• Create simple, heartfelt communications to inspire and retain pledgers.

• Host occasional small-scale legacy events (virtual or in-person).

• Report on progress to the Executive Director.

This is a 12-month temporary contract with a strong possibility of extension or becoming permanent based on program growth and conversion performance.

About You

What we are looking for

We're looking for an experienced and ideas-driven Individual Giving Fundraiser to join our dynamic, warm and dedicated team. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a new Arts for Dementia individual giving strategy. You will lead on campaigns and develop / deliver Arts for Dementia’s supporter engagement journey to develop strong and long-lasting supporter relationships. The role will actively contribute to Arts for Dementia’s overall fundraising strategy and income generation.

Main purpose of job

To support the Fundraising Manager to reach our income targets, with a focus on individual giving.

• Part time: 21 hours per week, working flexibly
• Salary: £35-37k (pro-rata’d)
• Reporting to: Fundraising Manager
• Location: Hybrid.  Mainly home-based with one day in London per week. Occasional evenings or weekend days in London for events and activities.

Key responsibilities:

Donor acquisition

· Initiate and deliver acquisition strategies to attract new individual donors.

· Identify target audiences, test new channels and messages to drive supporter growth.

Campaign management

· Plan, deliver, and evaluate multi-channel fundraising campaigns (e.g., email, direct mail, social media).

· Collaborate with communications manager to create compelling donor appeals.

· Track, evaluate, and report campaign performance.

Donor stewardship & retention

· Manage and grow a portfolio of individual donors, ensuring timely and personalised communication.

· Develop and implement donor stewardship plans to grow and secure loyalty/long-term support.

· Monitor and review donor journeys and feedback to improve engagement and satisfaction.

Data management & reporting

· Maintain accurate donor records and manage donor Donorfy.

· Report on individual giving KPIs and campaign ROI.

· Ensure all activity complies with GDPR and fundraising best practices.

Collaboration & innovation

· Understand our work, its impacts and our culture.

· Work closely with colleagues across the team to align messaging and realise opportunities.

· Stay up-to-date on sector trends and innovations in individual giving and digital fundraising.

Skills, knowledge and experience:

Essential

· Previous experience in an individual giving role, with good working knowledge of fundraising best practice

· Demonstrable success in growing income through regular giving

· Experience developing and delivering fundraising campaigns and communications across a range of channels

· Experience working with fundraising databases or CRMs (we use Donorfy)

· Knowledge of the ethics and legislation relating to fundraising and GDPR

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong attention to detail and engaging story-telling

· Experience of working collaboratively with a small staff team, able to listen and support alongside bringing new ideas and expertise

· Willing to work flexibly and respond to changing demands
