As our Senior Database Officer, you'll take the lead on important tasks within the Database Services team. Working closely with the Database Manager to develop and refine automated processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Power Automate and Excel Power Query. Your expertise will help streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy and ensure our supporter database runs smoothly and reliably.

You’ll be a trusted point of contact for the Supporter Care team, offering guidance on manual data entry and helping improve documentation and processes. You’ll help shape best practice across the organisation, ensuring our fundraising teams are empowered to use the database confidently and effectively. You’ll also support our two Database Officers in responding to complex queries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data protection guidelines (GDPR) and will bring previous experience in using a fundraising database for data entry, maintenance, and importation. A high level of computer literacy is essential and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Particularly experience using PowerQuery within Excel, or experience using the M language within Power BI to drive the automated manipulation of data.

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. The Role
Our donors are vital to delivering our mission and we are looking for a motivated, empathetic, and creative individual to help ensure every person who chooses to support our life-saving service feels valued and knows the impact of their support. This is a new and strategically important role, created to help us build stronger, longer lasting relationships with donors. Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager the successful candidate will support in the delivery of the Individual Giving strategy, programme and associated campaigns. They will play a key role in shaping and delivering personalised supporter journeys that foster loyalty, increase lifetime value, and strengthen the emotional connection between our supporters and our mission. This role will work alongside the fundraising and marketing and communications teams, and engage with the wider organisation — including pilots and paramedics — to share the story of SCAA and ensure our supporters feel connected to our mission.

This is a full-time role based either in Perth, at Scone Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located, or at our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport (if based in Aberdeen there will be the requirement for the successful candidate to attend our Perth base on an occasional basis). The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Membership and Training Assistant to join the Early Career Researcher Network (ECRN) team, supporting the delivery of our inclusive, researcher-led network for early career researchers working across the SHAPE disciplines.

The role

The ECRN Membership and Training Assistant will play a key role in providing administrative support for the Early Career Research Network. The role holder will work closely with the ECRN team and will interact with researchers, universities and other stakeholders, as well as academic Fellows and colleagues from across the Academy.

You will support the ECRN Membership Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Network’s membership function. Key responsibilities include monitoring membership workflows, responding to member enquiries in a timely and professional manner, and serving as a primary point of contact for early career researchers interested in joining the Network. 

The primary focus of this role will be managing membership and data-related activities, but you will also be providing administrative and logistical support for the Leadership and Advancement Programme and wider Network as required.

You will be confident using Microsoft Office programmes daily, such as Outlook, Excel and Teams and will be supporting with online events through Zoom. You will have to keep membership records up to date on our CRM database, Salesforce and communicate with our members.

The role holder will gain a proficient understanding of our membership policies and procedures and support the management of our online community platform.

You will be expected to travel across the UK from time to time to attend events and meetings with our delivery partners and other key stakeholders where appropriate.

The Senior Accounts Technician plays a key role within the financial accounts team, working in partnership with the Director of Finance and Governace to ensure the smooth operation of financial systems and processes.

Since becoming a charity focused solely on campaigning in 2019, Age UK London has adopted and implemented a new strategy. We have agreed campaign priorities; successfully changed policy at a London-wide and borough level; and adapted our finance, HR and IT systems to better support a campaigning charity.

The Board is looking for a new CEO to lead the charity through the next phase of its development, creating a new strategy to guide its campaigning work making London a better city for older people and to develop a sustainable income stream.

Reports to: the Board

Key duties and responsibilities

· In conjunction with the board, lead the creation of a new strategy for the charity and develop and implement appropriate business and financial plans, with clear objectives and outcomes and to operationalise the strategy, ensuring all activities are aligned to achieve the strategy. 

· Develop and implement a new income generation strategy, including building relationships with funders, and strengthening and growing our individual giving programme to put the charity on the path to becoming financially self-sustaining.

· Work with the Campaigns Manager to continue the delivery of high quality campaigns to make London a better city for older people and position Age UK London; and ensure campaigns are grounded in evidence and the views and experiences of older Londoners.  

• Ensure that the Charity maintains relationships with all appropriate external stakeholders so that our campaigns are successful and the voices of older Londoners are heard in decision making, and to oversee the delivery of our external communications plan.
• Have overall responsibility for the lawful and efficient operation of the Charity including overseeing our outsourced finance function, governance; regulatory reporting; legal and regulatory compliance; HR, premises, insurances, IT and all other operational matters. 
• Maintain our relationships with local London Age UKs via our existing networks and regional structures.
• Ensure appropriate reporting to the board with necessary analysis, (risk/benefits/resources) clearly presented to allow the board to discharge its governance function.
• Line management of the Campaigns Manager and Marketing & Communications Officer.

Person specification

Experience

Essential 

• Experience managing the operational  and financial aspects of a small charity.
• Proven ability to build relationships with funders and secure grant income linked to campaigning activity.
• Practical senior level experience in campaigning to make sustainable change.
• Some experience of working directly with trustees is needed but this does not have to be as a CEO.

Desirable

• Experience acting as the “public face” of a campaigning organisation interfacing with the media, politicians and other stakeholders.
• Experience in the age sector.

Personal Qualities

• Strong analytical skills and commitment to evidence-based activity.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams that work together to produce clearly identified outcomes.

RABI supports farming people across England, Wales and NI with expert, one-to-one practical, financial and emotional help, all year round. From confidential advice and mental health support to direct financial assistance, their tailored services respond to the unique challenges of farming life.

Over the past 25 years alone, RABI has delivered almost £250 Million in direct financial support to the farming community, whilst the charity’s professional counselling service has provided 11,500 free sessions to farming people since 2022. RABI’s wrap-around support services continue to evolve, reaching more people year on year.

Key Purpose:

To work as part of a team that provide high quality casework and grant applications to farming people that come to RABI for support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality information, advice and guidance in an empathetic and professional manner.
• Conduct a holistic needs assessment for each service user according to their individual circumstances.
• Manage a caseload of beneficiaries working with each service user to establish the most appropriate sources of support and agree an action/support plan with them.
• Collation of evidence for grants applications, checking that essential criteria have been met and progressing applications to the next stage of RABI’s internal grants process.
• Provide a face-to-face service when there is an over-riding need to do so by visiting service users.
• Collaborate with other agencies/service providers who can offer additional support options.
• Liaise with partners, ensuring that agreed actions are followed up.
• Log and communicate details of cases in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that records are up to date and the wider team has the information they need to provide support.
• Explore, assess and escalate any safeguarding concerns according to the RABI safeguarding policy.
• Contribute constructively to the development of the Service Delivery team and function, for the benefit of service users.
• Work constructively and collaboratively to solve problems with the support of colleagues.
• Be an ambassador for Service Delivery internally within RABI and with external organisations.

Person Specification:

Essential

• Fluent Welsh language speaker.
• Experience providing services to vulnerable service users, listening and supporting in a non-judgemental way.
• Knowledge and insight into state benefits and complementary support services (whether national/local/statutory agencies.)
• Strong ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively, prioritising competing demands to include keeping excellent case records.
• Excellent communication skills, being able to establish rapport and build trust quickly.
• The ability to build a practical plan alongside a service user and adapt approach to different circumstances and personalities.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, particularly in complex situations
• Knowledge of data protection principles and how to apply them.

Main purpose of post
This is a key support role to the Marketing Manager and Campaigns Manager,
having primary responsibility for the charity’s graphic design work.
Our marketing team raises awareness of our services and grant-giving to
potential beneficiaries and the wider community, support our fundraising
campaigns, and generally promotes Weston Park Cancer Charity throughout
South Yorkshire and beyond.
This is a key role to bring our stories and campaigns to life. You’ll play a key role
in visually communicating our message, developing design assets for both
print and digital platforms, and helping us maintain a strong and consistent
visual identity.

Key Responsibilities
Design and Brand
 Create visual assets for online and offline use, including brochures, reports,
social media graphics, infographics, posters, and fundraising materials.
 Ensure all designs are aligned with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
 Respond to, discuss and meet design briefs, provided by the Marketing
team.
Digital Media Support
 Design social media templates and email campaign visuals.
 Support in producing visuals for our website and e-newsletters.

Campaign and Event Materials
 Develop design concepts for campaigns and charity events.
 Produce signage, presentations, and promotional materials for fundraising
and awareness activities.

Collaborative Working
 Work closely with a range of colleagues across the marketing, fundraising
team, and service teams.

About Us:

Baca is dedicated to providing support and care to 16 to 18 year old unaccompanied asylum seeking children who are newly arrived in the country, helping them rebuild their strength, dignity, and hope for the future. We work closely with social workers and representatives from other agencies to benefit the young people in our care.

As a Support Worker, you will be a key worker for several young people in Baca's care, providing high-quality holistic and therapeutic support for their transition to adulthood.
