Your role will be to jointly support our team in leading our educational programmes, the Harris Experience (HE) and Harris Experience Advanced (HEA), which are already in place from Year 9 through to Year 13. The HE programme spans three years for each cohort, from Year 9 to Year 11; the HEA programme spans two years for each cohort, from Year 12 to Year 13. Both programmes aim to broaden the cultural and academic experiences of some of our brightest young secondary students in the federation, to give them an outstanding preparation for some of the UK’s top university destinations, including Oxford, Cambridge and medicine. The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking a Safeguarding Administrator to play a key role within the Safeguarding team, based from Causton Street. 

Job Summary 

The Safeguarding Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support for meetings and safeguarding activities to aid the smooth running of the safeguarding team. This role ensure that the safeguarding team provides a professional and friendly service to parishes within the Diocese of London, and to the London Diocesan Fund.

Job responsibilities 

Administrative support for meetings 

• Provide administrative support for the Safeguarding Leadership Team. 
• Produce high quality accurate minutes of team meetings and ensure they run smoothly. 

Administrative support for safeguarding activity 

• Work with the Safer Churches Programme Manager to provide day to day administrative support, working closely to ensure functions run smoothly.
• Work within national and diocesan safer churches policy and procedures as defined in the safer churches programme of work.
• Support the Safeguarding Advisors with safeguarding agreements and risk assessments as required.
• Provide effective administrative support, maintaining standards as required by the Diocese.
• Work with the Safer Churches Programme Manager to provide performance data to assist the regular reporting management information.

Training administration  

• Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the safeguarding training programme.

• Work closely with colleagues in the Area Offices to keep licensed clergy and lay ministers training kept up to date. 

General administrative support

• Process Invoices and annual subscriptions in a timely way and maintain tracking spreadsheet.
• Update contact details of local authorities, LADO’s and statutory agencies covering the diocesan area.  
• Undertake any other duties that are commensurate with the role.

This post is to start as soon as possible and anticipated to be until June 2025. This post will be based in Holborn, working onsite every day.
As their Programme Administrator, you will provide a high level of administrative support to the faculty and students, and to ensure the smooth running of courses and programmes in the department. Including the following areas:

• Programme Administration - Working closely with Programme Managers on the day-to-day running of the department's programmes.
• Course and Faculty Support - Prepare relevant course materials, along with updating and maintaining course Moodle pages.
• Examinations and Assessments - Support to ensure that the departments examinations are carried out in line with the school requirements
• Service Delivery - General support, with regards to managing the smooth running of the department's resources, along with acting as first point of contact for phone calls

To be considered for this post you will have previous experience within a similar fast paced support role.Previous experience of Course/Programme Administration would be advantageous although not essential, ideally you will be educated to Bachelor's degree level. You will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills, along with capable of managing and prioritising a varied workload, whilst working well under pressure and demonstrating a flexible attitude to work.

Main duties

Programme Support 

• Provide support across Causeway's broad portfolio of programmes, such as online mentoring, insight days, work experience weeks and university and employer outreach schemes

• Organise programme-related events, such as workshops/webinars 

• Deliver online and in-person workshops to students and stakeholders, alongside other members of the Programmes Team

• Look after our shared inboxes and share queries with relevant team members 

• Support the collection of information as part of programme reporting requirements

• Support in the design and creation of new programme resources

• Support other team members with management of external communications including the Causeway website, Twitter account and newsletters

Currently prison is not a place which successfully does this: the average prisoner has 16 previous convictions and 48 percent of prisoners reoffend within a year of release. This is the problem which Unlocked Graduates exists to fix.

Prison officers are the agent of change for many prisoners. Of all the staff in prisons, they spend the most time with prisoners, they set the prevailing culture in prison, and we know that the most effective prison officers have a hugely positive impact on prisoners. Unlocked Graduates develops outstanding individuals to lead rehabilitation, and in doing so raises the status of the prison officer and makes the frontline of prisons a place where cycles of reoffending can be broken.

We have successfully recruited, trained and placed six cohorts of over 750 high potential graduates into prisons across England and Wales. The Role

This role sits within the Unlocked Programme Team, which holds responsibility for designing and running training for our new cohorts as well as supporting them across their two years, to enable them to have the most impact possible.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to support our Programme Team with a wide variety of tasks. The successful candidate will gain an insight into: delivery, curriculum, our work with our Ambassador community as well as the specific training required to become a prison officer.

Our main office is based in London (remote working may be able to be accommodated but this will be discussed with candidates on an individual basis). The programme is national and so some travel is required to Birmingham and Manchester.

Overview of the role – Programmes Administrator:

LST is seeking a detailed-orientated and highly organised professional with a real willingness to support people for the role of Programmes Administrator

This is a crucial role where the postholder will join a small and friendly Registry team supporting Faculty and students across the organisation.

The responsibilities of the post-holder are designed and divided into two main areas: Registry activities and Programmes activities. The post-holder will provide efficient and effective delivery to the Theology and Worship Programmes and Theology and Counselling Programme, while continuing to assist with Registry Office functions.

Key Tasks:

The following key tasks are indicative of the role, rather than exhaustive, and tasks may be amended in response to changing requirements or in line with the skills and experience of the post-holder:

• Supporting the Music Programme Leader with music events, concerts and recitals
• Supporting the Counselling Programme Leader with the organisation of residential weekends and exams
