The role

FareShare is committed to expanding our work so more surplus food can reach thousands of charities and community groups nationwide. Central to this aim is a vibrant national fundraising department that has consistently grown the organisation’s new and existing income streams in recent years.

FareShare’s Trusts and Grants Team has a strong track record of working across a range of impactful partnerships to raise ~£5m of income each year. As a Trusts and Grants and Manager you will take on the management and stewardship of a diverse portfolio of high-value funding relationships, while developing new partnerships with a high propensity to support our work. You will play a proactive role in strategic planning and have line management responsibilities of a Trusts and Foundations Officer.

You will be a strategic thinker, used to working with high value grant making professionals and trustees and with senior staff and stakeholders within your own organisation. You will have a strong track record in income generation and supporter stewardship and have excellent communication skills. Cross team collaboration is crucial to the role, and you will be able to demonstrate strong relationship building and influencing skills.

Main areas of responsibility

• Build relationships with portfolio of five and six figure trust supporters, understanding their motivations and tailoring opportunities and communications to cultivate strong, long-lasting partnerships.
• Foster a deep understanding of FareShare’s work and strategy to create persuasive fundraising proposals that inspire and solicit funds. This includes developing relationships across the organisation to build a sound understanding of FareShare operations and where support is most needed
•   Champion and input in to the teams prospecting process, using your own research and sector knowledge to take new opportunities from identification through to solicitation, particularly focussing on those with multi-year and high value potential.
•  Develop innovative and personalised stewardship plans, in collaboration with senior colleagues when appropriate, to deepen funder relationships. Craft compelling written communications including emails, proposals, and reports to showcase the impact of trust support and celebrate key milestones. Lead calls, meetings and visits to strengthen funder partnerships and engagement with our work.
•  Provide supportive management to a Trust and Grants Officer, offering regular advice and guidance, identifying opportunities for development and monitoring performance objectives in line with the organisational and team strategy.
• Play an active role in developing and delivering the Trusts and Grants team strategy contributing to planning and management of team objectives, and supporting the Senior Manager to motivate the team and drive trust income.  
• Work with colleagues across the Fundraising sub-teams to maximise cross over opportunities between income areas.
•  Maintain accurate records of partner interactions in our CRM system and shared files, and consistently update financial records and account plans.

Experience

• Experience of securing and successfully managing five and six figure grants and multi-year gifts from a range of grant makers, including project funding and unrestricted funding.
• Experience in prospecting for new high value business opportunities via multiple research channels and soliciting new donors to make significant gifts.
• Experience in writing compelling funding applications and impact reporting.
• Experience in developing and presenting complex project and financial information to support compelling funding proposals.
• Experience of successful cross department working with senior colleagues to deliver on funding objectives and budget.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Partnerships Manager to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the Head of Partnerships and wider WFN team in delivering our fundraising strategy, stewarding high-value donor relationships, and unlocking new opportunities for income growth. 

The Partnerships Manager will work directly with some of WFN’s existing portfolio of 30 Major Donors made up primarily of Trusts, Family Foundations and High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) supporters, with some Corporates. The Opportunity:

This full time, fully remote position offers a salary of £50,000-55,000 if you are a UK resident. If you reside in a different location, the salary will be adjusted accordingly. RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme & Operations Support

• Support the coordination of OSH’s residentials, events, and programmes, ensuring logistics run smoothly.

• Arrange bookings (e.g. facilitators, venues, catering, transport) to ensure contracts and payments are managed efficiently.

• Assist in staff recruitment and volunteer management with recruitment, interview scheduling, onboarding, inductions, organising meetings and receiving feedback.

• Manage resources in our lock up (based in Hornsey)

Administrative & Organisational Support

• Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Handle general inquiries via email and phone, acting as a key point of contact for external stakeholders.

• Support the team with minute-taking in meetings.

Partnerships & Referrals

• Communicate with referrers (such as youth groups, schools, social workers, and community organisations) to ensure young people are referred and engaged in our programmes.

• Support with phoning participants and referrers to support them to complete sign up forms where necessary

• Track and monitor referral processes, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups with referrers to maximise participation at our events

• Maintain good relationships with external partners such as venues, facilitators, transport companies and other organisations we work with. 

Finance & Compliance Support

• Assist with financial administration, such as processing invoices, logging donations, and tracking expenses.

• Ensure OSH meets data protection and safeguarding requirements, keeping records up to date.

Other duties

• Getting involved in OSH events in the evenings and at weekends, including residentials. These are overnight trips from 2 to 5 nights

• Other duties as may be required from time to time

We are seeking a dynamic creative Content and Campaigns Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of our programme content across the globe. This role will work closely with the Global Programs Manager in the creation of key content and curriculums, strategising, delivering improvements, implementing campaigns and optimising processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Programme Development: To support the Global Programs Manager in ensuring the creation and execution of innovative programs that align with the charity's goals, for audiences both on-line and in-person. 

• Content Planning: Use of various techniques to develop program plans e.g. storyboards etc.

• Content Creation: Write and edit engaging and concise short and long form copy for various content (e.g. workbooks, animations, scripts, training guides), working with creatives/stakeholders as necessary.

• Implementation: Coordinate with various stakeholders in the delivery of programs, including addressing translation requirements and contextualising a particular region.

• Content Distribution: Managing content distribution to ensure strong traction and engagement.

The Role

We have recently launched our new CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and are looking for a CRM Manager to join an end user Charity in Central London. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.

Key Functional Areas

• Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.
• Systems Governance - Ensuring system best practices are followed, producing dashboards to identify common errors to follow up with users offering tailored training for common issues.
• Training and Support - training of new members, ongoing training and refreshing areas where common issues are found in regular training sessions all staff and portal users can attend.
• Information Governance and Data Protection - Ensuring data is kept up to date and added in the correct formats and standards. Leading on data compliance and legalisation for the charity

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. Role Overview

Our Youth and Play Workers will play a pivotal role in the Children, Young People and Families team, working as a core team of practitioners to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and services. In this role you will be part of a small and dynamic team which delivers a wide range of programmes and activities, both from Tulse Hill Adventure Playground and within local schools. The work of the Children, Young People and Families team is diverse and varied. Overall purpose of the role

The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional communications to enhance Orbis UK's profile in both the UK and the Middle East. The position is responsible for implementing strategic plans for UK and Middle East audiences, while supporting the Media and PR Manager in boosting Orbis UK's brand presence. The role also includes leading reputation and crisis management responses and plans.

The Media and PR Manager reports directly to this position, and together, they will collaborate to deliver effective communications plans. There will also be opportunities to work with the wider Orbis UK communications team on cross-departmental campaigns, appeals, and events, including VIP visits and integrated marketing campaigns.

This role encompasses communications planning, media relations, stakeholder management, reputation management, copywriting, and at times, event coordination. It requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage projects across different teams and countries. The role is responsible for three key areas of work:

i) Overseeing the delivery of the media and PR strategy to increase brand awareness of Orbis within the UK and the Middle East through pitching and placement of high-quality media coverage, proactive PR initiatives and reactive press office opportunities within a range of publications that align with our target audiences and partnerships. This will include managing the Media and PR Manager, working with key stakeholders such as the Royal Press Office and key funding and programme partners, and supporting delivery of Orbis UK integrated marketing campaigns
