The Head of Education and Community Engagement is a key leadership role, providing strategic and technical direction for SPANA’s education, community engagement and Social Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) work. The role sits within SPANA’s Global Programmes Department (GPD) and works closely alongside colleagues in other GPD teams responsible for Animal Health and Welfare (AHW), Programmes and Data and Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability (MEAL).
Salary, contract and location
This is a permanent, full time (34.5 hours per week) role based in the UK, with regular (1-2 times per month or more if preferred) attendance in SPANA's London office.
The salary for this role is c.£55,000-£60,000 subject to experience. SPANA also offers employees a range of benefits including:

Working closely with our Support Team Leader and the administration team you will ensure that our volunteer and school customer journeys run smoothly.

- Use the database (Access Charity CRM) to maintain accurate and detailed records, manage relationships, and coordinate actions and deadlines.
- Research and identify new opportunities, and write and submit high quality, targeted proposals to secure support from new and lapsed funders.

This is a very exciting time to be joining Impetus as we aim to support more young people this year than ever before in our history. We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Team Administrator who is excited by the prospect of working for an ambitious Philanthropy team in a sector leading charity. The Philanthropy team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. About Chapter One
Chapter One is a dynamic, growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports over 3,200 children a year. About the Role
The Finance Assistant has responsibility for a variety of finance functions including the purchase and sales ledger, making payments to suppliers, invoicing Corporate Partners and Schools and reconciling bank accounts. They support the day to day running of the Finance Team ensuring that tasks such as posting invoices, reconciling customer accounts, supporting credit control and chasing non-payments are carried out in a timely and accurate fashion.
The Finance Assistant reports to and works closely with the Head of Finance and plays a critical role in resolving finance queries from Chapter One colleagues, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting internal processes and contributing to the effective financial management of Chapter One.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in a similar position within a finance team and has good working knowledge of accounting principles and a basic understanding of income for charities. They will work remotely and will need to have access to a reliable internet connection. This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and the post-holder must be permanently based in the UK at the time of applying and for the duration of their employment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Insights and Evaluation team at Dementia UK supporting the organisation to build the evidence base for Admiral Nursing through collecting and sharing evidence on the effectiveness of the Admiral Nursing model.

Frazzled is a small mental health and wellbeing charity founded by Ruby Wax OBE based on the power of emotional openness. Our free, volunteer-led meetings run online every single day of the year, offering people a chance to share, listen and feel heard in a supportive community.
We're looking for a confident and positive self starter with a high level of emotional intelligence, attention to detail and excellent communication skills to be our new Project Support and Administrative Officer.
You will play a vital role in coordinating our schedule of peer-support meetings, managing our busy inboxes, supporting our volunteers and ensuring our internal systems and processes are well organised and working smoothly. Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience working within the charity or non-profit sector
- Familiarity with crisis communications, including securing media coverage or managing sensitive press engagement
- Experience in impact reporting and communicating metrics to measure technical progress
- Understanding of environmental or conservation-related communications
- Knowledge of data protection regulations (such as GDPR) and ethical marketing principles
- Experience using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS
