We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong background in programme management. This post is a one-year sabbatical cover to develop key strategic programmes.
In this role, you will co-lead and manage Engineering X. You should have experience of developing challenge-focused and multi-stakeholder initiatives. This includes experience of programmes that use multiple approaches (grants, research, and policy influencing) to achieve change at different levels, as well as a strong background in building partnerships and collaborations.

First Give inspires young people to make a difference to causes they care about. Programme Delivery Officer role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of the First Give programme in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, plus providing guidance and troubleshooting for the lead teachers at First Give partner schools.

This critical role will provide leadership on financial oversight, planning, and compliance for a flagship global education programme operating across multiple countries.
About the role
As Finance Manager, you will lead the financial management and oversight of the programme, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial accounting, reporting, and oversight. You will work closely with the Programme Finance Manager, providing expert support across donor reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and cost recovery processes.
You will be responsible for producing financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders, including the Finance Committee, the programme management team, and global partners. A key part of the role will involve reviewing transactions, maintaining budget trackers, and ensuring alignment between donor reporting and internal financial data.
In addition, you will play a pivotal role in developing financial controls, monitoring compliance with donor regulations, and supporting audit processes. You will work with colleagues and partners to ensure all financial elements of grants, sub-grants, and donor contracts are managed effectively and transparently.
This position also involves line management of the Finance Officer, providing direction, oversight, and support to ensure a collaborative, high-performing finance function.
About you
- Fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent)
- At least 5 years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Experience working within international development organisations or donor agencies
- Familiarity with institutional donors (e.g., FCDO, EC, ECHO) and their compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across global teams and external partners
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong financial analysis and presentation skills

About the Role

You will manage proposal submissions to Cord's key donors such as the EU, US State Department, GIZ, SDC, UN Peacebuilding Fund etc. You will be working closely with country teams to design and write proposals based on strong project designs developed in partnership with our local partners.
The role will also operate at a strategic level by managing Cord’s relationships with key donors and shaping how Cord communicates about its programmes and the added-value that Cord brings.

About Bright Futures UK
Bright Futures UK supports children and young people aged 5 to 24 whose education has been disrupted due to serious long-term physical or mental health conditions. We offer online one-to-one tutoring, befriending, and mentoring programmes, as well as group programmes including hospital workshops, industry events, and advocacy actions initiatives. Working in close partnership with hospitals, families, and other services, we ensure that children and young people experiencing health-related challenges are not left behind.
Role Overview
This is a key role in the delivery of our online personalised programme. The Senior Coordinator will oversee the children and young people referral pathway, acting as the first point of contact for new referrals and guiding children, young people, and their families, educators, or hospital contacts through every stage of the onboarding process.
You will be responsible for gathering detailed and sensitive information about each young person’s health, education, and wellbeing, to ensure the support they receive is tailored, appropriate, and trauma-informed. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records is a central part of this role. You will also line manage the Personalised Programme Coordinators, work closely with the wider Programme and Volunteer Teams, and play a key role in external outreach and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Referral and Programme Oversight
- Act as the lead contact for all incoming referrals, including those from hospitals, statutory services, community organisations, and families
- Hold safe, compassionate, and confidential conversations with CYPs to understand their needs and gather relevant information around education, physical health, and mental wellbeing
- Ensure all referral documentation, risk assessments, consent forms, and safeguarding procedures are completed to a high standard and in line with organisational policy
- Maintain strong working relationships with referral partners, providing updates and sharing appropriate feedback
- Oversee the matching of referred CYP to suitable volunteers in collaboration with the Volunteer Senior Coordinator

Programme Officer for Europe & Eurasia
About the role:
The Programme Officer will provide programmatic support to a portfolio of Internews Europe’s projects in the Europe & Eurasia (E&E) Region. The role will be part of Internews’ Regional E&E Team and report to the UK-based Regional Programme Manager. The role will support the project teams in the E&E region as they conduct their project activities and ensure effective programme implementation, particularly related to project reporting, work planning, and monitoring, evaluation, research and learning (MERL).
The role will coordinate with diverse international donors to contribute to development opportunities that support E&E media and journalists to safely provide good-quality information. The role supports the design and development of innovative programmes and serves as the point of contact for E&E projects within Internews Europe and for some project donors. The role may also be asked to represent Internews at partner and donor meetings. The role will also contribute to Internews’ knowledge management and improvement of Internews systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the project teams across all programmatic and operational aspects of European-funded grant programmes to implement high-quality projects on time, according to the budget, and to the highest technical standards, and in a way that positions projects within a broader regional or thematic portfolio and contributes to organisational impact
- Monitor progress towards project deliverables and provide guidance to project teams
- Support project openings/start-ups and closeouts
- Advise on project team composition and support with hiring key project personnel
- Guide the project teams on rules and requirements of European donors and Internews’ internal policies and procedures
- Work closely with the E&E Business team on business aspects of project delivery, including budget management and financial tracking
- Review and revise donor narrative reports, workplans, and MERL plans to ensure their high quality

- Provide input and support for organisation-wide initiatives as needed
- Travel within the E&E region as necessary
