This varied role uses event and programme management skills to deliver excellent service in a fast paced environment within the Christian sector as we advance the work of The Maclellan Foundation, one of the largest Christian family foundations in the USA. Objectives/Key Tasks:
To provide event and project-specific administrative support in an accurate, timely and professional manner, including:
- Planning and co-ordinating multiple programmes, to ensure milestones are met to an excellent standard
- Conducting research, assembling and analysing data to prepare reports and documents
- Preparing and editing written correspondence, communications, presentations, publicity etc
- Managing booking and registration processes
- Managing and updating various databases on a regular basis
- Onsite event management; helping set up and run events as well as providing delegate support
- Providing customer service support, via phone and email
- Managing and maintaining schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
- Arranging and coordinating meetings, including minute taking
- Reviewing operating practices and implementing improvements where necessary
- Processing expenses and maintaining project budgets in liaison with the Finance Manager
- Providing administrative support to the Director and all projects and events undertaken by NJC

As a Programme Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of a range of different courses and programmes. You will work closely with the Programme Directors, who design and deliver the course and programme content.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Programme Manager at Talent Spaces & Upskill Me, you will play a vital role in supporting the Programmes Lead in the successful delivery of our flagship STEM programme, career events and employability programmes. We are looking to fill two roles one will have specific focus on leading on our social mobility Industry Societies programmes and one role will focus on our STEM events and programmes. This is a unique opportunity for a person with skills and experience in managing projects, programmes and partnerships to join a coalition of organisations striving to improve child health through improving the school food ecosystem.
Who we are
The School Food Review is a coalition of organisations spanning charities, educational organisations, caterers, unions and academics, committed to working together to improve children’s health by reforming the school food system. The group’s work is coordinated by founder members School Food Matters, Food Foundation, Bite Back 2030 and Chefs in Schools, and is supported by Impact on Urban Health.
The School Food Review has identified three areas of action required to deliver meaningful change – equitable access, fairer funding and quality assurance. Work across these three areas is delivered through focused working groups, drawing on members of the coalition. This includes public campaigning, advocacy and policy development.
The post will be hosted by Chefs in Schools; we are a young, ambitious charity that’s rapidly growing. Our mission is to improve kids' health, through improving school food & food education. Working in areas of high deprivation, we support and train school kitchen teams to serve the best, freshest and tastiest food possible, alongside meaningful food education. About you and the role
The purpose of this role is to coordinate the work of our coalition, the School Food Review, to ensure that we are maximising the potential of the skills and expertise we can draw on from members, and driving meaningful impact. You will work closely with the School Food Review’s Operational Group, made up of key personnel from the founding organisations, to ensure that the coalition delivers on its mission. Whilst employed by Chefs in Schools, your role will be focused within the coalition.
Day to day, you will project manage operational delivery across the School Food Review coalition, ensuring efficient and effective delivery against the agreed work plan, which you will be monitoring and developing in consultation with your colleagues in the operational group. You will ensure that the governance committee and broader coalition group are kept informed of progress, promptly flagging risks and identifying suitable mitigations.
You will have an understanding of the context that we operate in, education and food sectors, and a high-level understanding of the type of work that is being delivered (eg policy, campaigning and advocacy). You will be a subject matter expert in project management. Your expertise in this area will be combined with strong people skills, and the ability to manage effective partnerships with external organisations. Experience of working with a coalition, or in partnership with multiple organisations, is crucial.

Role purpose and main responsibilities
To lead on candidate support and communication for the ‘Placement’ strand of our delivery, working closely with the Senior Talent Manager to manage all entry-level recruitment with our corporate partners. The Programme Manager role is responsible for developing strategies within our healthcare funding areas and looking after a large, diverse and varied portfolio of grants. About the Team
This exciting role sits within the Impact and Charitable Programmes Department. The Department is responsible for ensuring charitable funding supports the highest quality projects within our funding priority areas of: research; patient and family experience; technology and medical equipment; hospital staff support; education; and environment (through supporting redevelopment projects and capital builds). The department is also responsible for monitoring and evaluating funded projects to ensure greatest impact, and providing support to fundraising teams with information on the projects the charity funds.
About You
You will have extensive healthcare, scientific and /or research management experience and be confident operating independently to develop and take projects forward. You will also develop excellent working relationships with senior external and internal stakeholders at the hospital, UCL Institute of Child Health and across the Charity.
Specifically, you will have:
- An advanced research degree (PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience

Your responsibilities
Quality programme delivery

Lead high quality professional development and school improvement programmes in our Pathway programmes and Open Learning for groups of teachers. These may be delivered in person, online or in school.

Deliver transformative consultancy support, working with teachers and school leaders to design and implement bespoke improvement plans for their oracy provision, including through in school consultancy support and one-to-one advice.

Build credibility and purposeful relationships with programme participants, both at programme days and touchpoints, and on an on-going basis to drive impact in our schools.

Be responsible for participant learning and experience on your programmes, upholding high standards for all elements such as preparation, adapting to participant needs, content and rigour, on-going interactions and support, and participant feedback.
Learning content & programme development

Proactively share insights and learning from the programmes you deliver, proposing and shaping solutions to enable Voice 21 to continually improve its programme offer.

The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is looking for an experienced and results-driven marketing professional with great know-how in marketing opportunities and managing agencies, and a commitment to women’s economic empowerment to join our team as Programme Marketing Manager for 12 months.

About the role
Becoming the Programme Marketing Manager at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a fantastic opportunity to help drive progress for women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by engaging more people in our work.
The key purpose of this role is to effectively market our programmes to participants – chiefly our HerVenture business skills microlearning app and our sector-leading Mentoring Women in Business programme.
This will span three main projects:
· to successfully manage a marketing agency to effectively market the HerVenture app to women in South Africa (as part of a fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Mar ‘25);
· to successfully manage the same marketing agency to promote the app in Nigeria (as part of a separate fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Dec ‘24); and
· to effectively promote the opportunity to become a mentor to a woman entrepreneur through our Mentoring Women in Business programme to paying professionals worldwide. Your objective will be to secure 18+ paid mentors for the Nov ’24 programme intake and 20+ for the May ’25 intake.
Following the completion of the two HerVenture marketing projects, you will also lead other programme marketing initiatives in 2025. These will be determined in late 2024.
Following the May ’25 Mentoring intake you will deliver a strategy, harnessing your learning and analysis to outline an approach for marketing the programme to paying mentors in future.
You will also be called on to support other forms of programme marketing on an ad hoc basis, for example advising on development of corporate pitch decks, or co-designing materials for fundraising events.
This position reports directly to the Head of Communications and Marketing, however this is a highly collaborative role and you will also work closely with the Entrepreneurship programmes team and the Programme Funding team to develop and deliver plans and manage projects.
Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated marketer with experience in ‘selling’ professional development / online volunteering opportunities, and in managing agencies and contractors to deliver on fixed projects as aligned to good marketing practices. You should be highly organised and goals-driven, with a collaborative approach, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to harness the power of marketing to support women’s economic empowerment.

Programming & artistic relationships

Devise and implement the artistic strategy and programme of the Philharmonia Orchestra in close consultation with the Chief Executive, Principal Conductor and Exec Team colleagues

Act as primary liaison to the Principal Conductor and other titled artists, discussing and agreeing programmes and projects

Engage guest conductors and soloists for all Philharmonia own-promoted performances and engagements, including fee negotiations

Identify and lead opportunities for commissioning and co-commissioning of new works, negotiating commission fees and contracts. Liaison with publishers

Negotiate co-promotion deals with external partners such as Serious or Southbank Centre

Programme Manager – National Clinical Audit of Psychosis

This is a great opportunity to manage an exciting audit programme using new methodologies to support Early Intervention in Psychosis services.
Within the College Centre for Quality Improvement, we run an exciting programme of NHS-funded national clinical audits, including the National Clinical Audit of Psychosis, which provides important data that is driving forward improvements in care for people with first episode psychosis. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive person for the Programme Manager (maternity cover) post.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management and quality improvement in healthcare and/or clinical audit and will have a keen interest in data analytics. They will show attention to detail and have excellent organisational, report writing and communication skills. Responsibilities will include managing a complex programme of work, liaising with funders and expert advisors, supervising the project team, developing and delivering of project plans, and managing all aspects of the project, e.g. developing data collection tools and collecting and analysing data.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check.
