Job description

Right to Succeed is a fast-growing national charity, working to deliver place-based and educational change in the most disadvantaged communities. Together, alongside their local and national partners, Right to Succeed delivers coordinated, impactful programmes aimed at improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people, their families and wider communities.

Right to Succeed is planning to implement a discovery phase in two areas of the Liverpool City Region. In this process, the charity will work on the ground over a twelve-month period to convene and consult with residents, commissioners, education settings, local services and community partners. Through the adoption of a research-informed approach, the aim is to establish a deep understanding of the local needs and assets, to ascertain where the conditions below are already in place, and to work alongside local stakeholders to create them where further development is required.

At the end of the Discovery phase, a report will be provided to the funders, local commissioners and trustees of Right to Succeed, enabling all stakeholders to make a decision about moving the project into the full delivery phase. The Discovery process focuses on creating the conditions to enable a collective, place-based approach to be successful, ready for a full scale programme of delivery to move forwards.

To apply for this position, please send a CV and supporting statement to apply via our advert on CharityJob by midnight on Friday 8th October 2021. Please note, we are scheduling interviews as applications are received, therefore an early application is recommended.

Your supporting statement must not exceed 2 pages and should cover your motivation for applying for the role and how your skills and experience meet the essential criteria outlined in the Person Specification.
