RollaDome All Skate is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Events Logistics Officer (Volunteer) to assist in sourcing venues for our skating clubs, classes, and events. This volunteer position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in event logistics, venue management, and the expansion of community-driven programs. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful organization of events that contribute to RollaDome’s mission to bring skating to local communities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Venue Sourcing: Research and identify venues across the UK that can be used for RollaDome’s skating clubs, classes, and events. Ensure that venues are accessible, affordable, and meet the needs of our participants. 

• Permanent Home Search: Assist in sourcing and evaluating potential permanent locations for RollaDome, ensuring they align with the long-term goals of the organization. 

• Vendor and Venue Relations: Build and maintain relationships with venue managers, landlords, and relevant stakeholders. Negotiate favourable terms for venue rentals and partnerships. 

• Venue Suitability Assessment: Evaluate potential venues for their suitability in terms of size, location, cost, accessibility, and other factors critical to the success of RollaDome’s programs. 

• Logistical Planning: Coordinate the logistical needs for clubs and classes, including setting up and maintaining schedules, organizing transportation, and ensuring that all equipment and materials are available at each venue.

The Bike Project’s mission is simple – we refurbish unwanted bikes and donate them to refugees and people seeking asylum, giving them freedom and independence whilst they rebuild their lives.

Most people seeking asylum are banned from working and many are forced to live off an allowance of £8.86 per day and those lucky enough to get refugee status still face high unemployment and isolation. Having a bike links people to essential services, including foodbanks and legal advice, as well as the local community.

The Bike Project has proved that a bike can make a difference. Not only is a bike a practical tool for tackling poverty, those who receive bikes from us report they are more connected in their community, happier and healthier as a result.

Alongside our core Bike Donations Programme, we support refugee women to learn to cycle through our Pedal Power Programme; provide ongoing support with bike maintenance through our Repair or Replace Programme; and offer the opportunity for connection and friendship through our volunteer-matching Bike Buddy Programme.

A number of trustees, including our treasurer, are coming to the end of their terms later this year and as such we are looking for a new treasurer and other trustees to join this dynamic group. 

You will be joining a highly committed group of trustees who give their time, expertise and contacts to support the charity. Our trustees are critical in enabling us to thrive. As part of this project, we are looking for a Data Analyst who can help us measure community impact, inform decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement across programme delivery. Befriending Volunteer

You can make a difference…Age UK Wandsworth is a small, local, independent charity that has been working with older people in the area since 1963. We rely on your support to keep serving the older residents with in the Wamdsworth community. We have a dedicated team of experienced staff and a large network of dedicated local volunteers. Our aim is to enable everyone to age well in Wandsworth. We would love your help to be able to continue to support older Wandsworth residents.

Our Be-a-Friend service is one of our longest running services, matching people over 65, who live alone and have limited social contact, with a friendly local volunteer with similar hobbies and interests. The volunteer and their new friend set up a suitable time for them to meet each week for a chat and a cup of tea, which could be during the day, in the evening on the way home from work or even on the weekends . If you would prefer to volunteer from home, you can also be matched with an older person for telephone befriending. For many of our matched pairs, this is the beginning of a firm friendship. 

Befriending Plus

Befriending Plus is an extended version of the Be-a-Friend programme, for individulas needing help with life admin and small tasks as well as companionship. For Befriending Plus pairs, time spent together can include helping to use a phone or tablet, helping the client to organise their file, going out for a coffee or popping to the post office together. This support can help older people to stay independent at home for longer, as well as increasing their confidence to do these tasks when the volunteer is not there.

Najimudu Empowerment Initiative empowers communities through climate-resilient health solutions, civic education, and sustainable development programs.

Najimudu Empowerment Initiative addresses the dual challenge of climate change and social justice by advocating for climate-resilient communities and equitable access to health and environmental resources. Climate change disproportionately affects marginalized populations—women, youth, and persons with disabilities—who often bear the brunt of environmental degradation, food insecurity, and health crises caused by extreme weather events.

We work at the grassroots level to bridge these gaps through climate education, policy advocacy, and community-driven solutions. Our programs include tree-planting initiatives to combat deforestation, sustainable menstrual hygiene campaigns to reduce plastic waste, and health camps that integrate climate adaptation strategies. Following appointment to the IGA, independent members are eligible for nomination to the BoT after 1 year as an IGA independent member.

Appointments on the BoT are for a 4-year term limit.

The IGA is the highest body of the new Islamic Relief Worldwide governance structure and consists mainly of representatives elected by Islamic Relief family members across five continents, creating a body that is truly globally representative.  It is from the IGA that IRW draws its trustees.

We would like to hear from exceptional applicants with considerable experience and specialist knowledge in a range of professional backgrounds: law, accountancy, audit, humanitarian programming, PR/communications, marketing or fundraising, IT, charity financial policy and strategy, shariah compliance. Those selected will play a vital role in IRW’s strategic work and in helping us respond to key challenges.

As a member of the IGA, it is expected you will be fully committed to the organisational objectives of IRW, sharing our vision, mission and values.  You will be expected to attend meetings and be willing to devote the necessary time and effort to the role and to act in the best interest of IRW’s work and its rightsholders.

RollaDome All Skate is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Grants Monitoring and Evaluations Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of grants and projects, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and assessing the impact of our programs. You will work closely with the fundraising and management teams to track the progress of funded initiatives and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. This placement is an excellent opportunity for those interested in nonprofit management, grant management, and impact evaluation. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Grants Monitoring: Track and monitor all active grants to ensure compliance with funding requirements, timelines, and project deliverables. 

• Data Collection: Work with program teams to collect both quantitative and qualitative data related to the outcomes and impact of funded projects. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all grant-related activities. 

• Evaluation and Analysis: Analyze program performance and evaluate the effectiveness of projects funded by grants. Use data to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to maximize impact. 

• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on grant progress, financial expenditure, and program outcomes for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that reports meet funder requirements and deadlines. 

• Compliance: Ensure all grant-funded projects comply with the agreed-upon terms and conditions. Flag any potential risks or issues and work with the management team to address them. 

• Liaison with Funders: Serve as the point of contact for funders, providing updates and responding to queries about funded projects. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with the fundraising team, program managers, and finance officers to ensure grant implementation aligns with organizational objectives. 

• Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure they efficiently track the impact of RollaDome’s programs and grants. 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights. 

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, able to manage multiple grants and reporting deadlines. 

• Experience in monitoring and evaluation or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and liaise with stakeholders. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with data management tools. 

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team. 

• Knowledge or keen interest in nonprofit organizations and grant management. 

• Experience with impact reporting, financial tracking, or project management is a plus.
