Birmingham Voluntary Service Council (BVSC) is the city’s leading infrastructure organisation for the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector. The successful candidate will have the DreamTeam Project as their primary focus, coordinating referrals, managing orders and deliveries, and building strong partnerships to ensure families in need receive essential support. In addition to DreamTeam, they will also play a key role in supporting other CYPF initiatives, including the West Midlands Multibank and the VCSEF Early Help Programme, contributing to their growth and success across the portfolio.

The purpose of the role is to work closely with the Head of CYPF and colleagues within the CYPF portfolio to ensure that the DreamTeam project is coordinated and managed successfully. You will also support the coordination of other CYPF programmes as required, manage contracts to ensure effective delivery, and collaborate with the Head of CYPF, other CYPF staff, and BVSC’s Communications team to develop and deliver the communications strategy for the CYPF portfolio in line with BVSC’s wider communications strategy.

About the role:

As a Service Delivery Assistant you will:

• Provide high quality administrative support to the team and service.
• Update and maintain manual and computerised database and case management systems and records in accordance with the service's internal policies/procedures and organisational standards.

About This Job

This is an exciting role in Army Cadet Headquarters which provides administrative support to the functional delivery areas of the syllabus. We are looking for a person to bring their skills, enthusiasm, and personal credibility to the team and support administration across both our volunteer staff and employed workforce.

This post is primarily to support DofE and First Aid but may, where required, be surged to cover short term administrative responsibilities for other activity areas.

Summary

The Church of England has recently agreed a significant increase in funding to support God's mission and ministry across the country, supporting local parishes and growing many more new worshipping communities to serve the whole nation. The distributions will also help fund dioceses' plans to serve the nation in various areas such radically cutting the Church's carbon footprint and supporting parishes, cathedrals, and dioceses with using their buildings, to best missional effect whilst ensuring their protection, enhancement, conservation, and appropriate adaptation.

The Net Zero Carbon programme was established to help the Church of England to deliver its commitment to reaching Net Zero Carbon by 2030. It aims to aims to equip, resource and support all parts of the Church to reduce carbon emissions from the energy used in its buildings, schools and through work-related transport by 2030. The team manages the distribution of a grant portfolio worth £190 million across 2023-33, aimed at supporting and equipping dioceses, parishes and other parts of the Church to reach the milestones set out in the Routemap to Net Zero 2030.

This role will play a vital role in supporting the work of the Net Zero Carbon Programme's grant streams, supporting it in delivering a consistent and responsive service to grantees.

The purpose of this role is to provide a responsive service as operational officer for the grant schemes under the Churches Workstream in the Net Zero Carbon Programme:

• Currently the Demonstrator Churches Grant Fund and the Boiler Replacement Hardship Grant Fund,
• 26-28 Decarbonising Churches Grant Fund

The postholder will be the first point of contact on behalf of the grant giver for new applicants and existing grantees under the grant schemes, handling a busy caseload from pre-application contact through to completion. This will involve all aspects of grant service delivery including assessment, issuing of offers and rejections, monitoring, payments, quality assurance and evaluation within the governance and decision-making framework in place for the grant schemes. The postholder will work under the supervision of the Demonstrator Churches Grants Manager and the Decarbonising Churches Lead, who will provide overall guidance and strategic oversight for the relevant grant funds, and will work closely with the Grants Administrator on operational matters.

The role will report directly to the Net Zero Carbon Programme's Decarbonising Churches Lead.

• This is a Fixed-Term due to end December 2028.
• A hybrid role required to attend the Church House London Office a day a week.

• A salary of £40,572 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

About Strength & Stem

Strength & Stem is a charity and social enterprise that uses floristry to empower female modern slavery survivors. We want to see female survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking restored from their trauma, empowered for the future, and able to sustain a good quality of life. We achieve our vision by offering an evidence-based, holistic programme. It incorporates tailored skills training (including vocational floristry, prevocational and wellbeing skills training), work experience, mentorship, and a supportive community. We run a nine-month programme each year, as well as alumni events and social cafes. The skills and experiences survivors gain through our programme create a lasting difference for them and their families through economic independence, strengthened wellbeing and increased community.  

Role summary

The Programme Coordinator plays a key operational role at the heart of Strength & Stem, ensuring the smooth delivery of our programmes and events. This includes coordinating a series of 12 weekly floristry and skills workshops, supporting the mentoring scheme, and organising independent events such as our annual graduation celebration, alumni gatherings and ad-hoc floristry workshops.

The role combines logistics, participant engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and communications across all areas of delivery. It is varied and dynamic — balancing hands-on support during programme delivery with significant behind-the-scenes coordination, administration and reporting.

It’s ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, keeping systems organised, and ensuring everything runs smoothly while contributing to meaningful impact for women rebuilding their lives after modern slavery.

Overview

The Member Engagement Administrator will play a key role in supporting the eAA’s member engagement and event activities. This post will focus on increasing participation across the Association’s Special Interest Group (SIG) programme, supporting online and in-person events, and assisting in the delivery of the International Awards and International Conference.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, well-organised, and a confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with volunteers and external stakeholders. About the e-Assessment Association

The e-Assessment Association (eAA) is a not-for-profit membership organisation based in the UK that brings together everyone with an interest in digital assessment. Since 2008, the eAA has championed the adoption of technology-enhanced assessment across education, training, and professional learning.

The eAA’s mission is to:

• Provide professional support and facilitate discussion for people working in this field.
• Showcase and promote the positive contributions that technology makes to all forms of assessment.
• Develop and share good practice for both suppliers and consumers of e-Assessment technologies.

We are a small, friendly, and collaborative team with an active and growing global membership. There are always new and exciting projects in the pipeline, with some of our current including a rebrand and the launch of a brand-new website. 

Key Responsibilities

Special Interest Group (SIG) Support:

• Manage the administration and coordination of the eAA’s Special Interest Groups.
• Support and prompt volunteer leads to ensure each SIG remains active and productive.
• Coordinate and schedule SIG meetings and online events, including setting up Cvent/ Zoom/Teams sessions and distributing materials.
• Assist with follow-up actions such as publishing content, circulating recordings, and gathering member feedback.
• Monitor engagement levels and prepare summary reports for the Operations Manager and Board.

Event Support (Online and In-person):

• Assist in the setup, promotion, and delivery of online events, including webinars, panel discussions, and SIG sessions.
• Manage speaker liaison, registration processes, and event logistics.
• Support the delivery of major eAA events including the International Conference (2026) and the International Awards Gala Dinner, including administrative coordination and event materials.
• Ensure a positive participant experience by handling communications and post-event follow-up.

Membership and Communications:

• Respond to member and volunteer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Support the creation and distribution of newsletters, announcements, and updates about SIG and event activity.
• Contribute to website updates and online event listings (including management of our online ‘Events Calendar’).

General Administrative Support:

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in shared systems 
• Support the wider team on projects or tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

• Work closely with internal teams, volunteers, and external partners.
• Attend in-person team meetings and support in-person at Association events (Time-Off-In-Lieu policy in operations for additional hours worked). 

General:

• Maintain records, files, and documentation in an organised manner.
• Assist with special projects as required
• Other appropriate tasks and roles as delegated by the Operations Manager
• To undertake other duties which may, from time to time, be necessary to further the work of eAA.

Please note, there will be the occasional requirement (c. 6 times per year) to travel nationally (UK) for events and team meetings. These instances will include overnight stays. There may be future requirement for some international travel. 

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative support role.
• Experience managing events (especially online events such as webinars or small conferences).
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• ‘Tech-savvy’ with a willingness and ability to adapt to new technologies and programmes, including AI. Confident using digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams, and social media platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.

Desirable Skills: 

• Experience working in a membership organisation, charity, or non-profit setting.
• Familiar with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
• Familiar with content creation tools such as Canva.
• Experience using event platforms such as Cvent. 
• Passion for education and technology, with a commitment to promoting the use of e-assessment.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of higher education to A Level, or equivalent, and relevant experience as well as evidence of continuing professional development i.e., training and development courses. The post is part-time 28 hours per week, 0.8 FTE and permanent. The post is funded by the Faculty and is available immediately.

The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 4 in the range £34,741-£38,986 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. Programme Officer

We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Programme Officer to work with a small friendly team, supporting the delivery of high-impact events and citizen science programmes connecting people with nature.

About the Role

As Programme Officer, you’ll play a key part in delivering a varied and inspiring events programme that engages thousands of people each year. Provide administrative and coordination support to the Family Wellbeing Service that support families across Surrey with wellbeing and mental health literacy as well as specific EBSNA and ND support. Work proactively, use their own initiative and work unsupported to achieve tasks. The administrator will provide administrative support to a service that is currently in development, with plans to grow over 4 years, with 8 practitioners as well as liaise with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of this service

Responsibilities

• Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Office suite, mail chimp, poll daddy and Survey Monkey
• Answering telephone and email queries from partner organisations, external agencies and parents/carers
• Contacting families via the telephone and email, that are referred to Eikon Family Wellbeing Service
• Production and creation of letters, correspondence, leaflets, newsletters and supporting the production of website content
• General administration work including filing, archiving, retrieving information and documents
• Provide, record and report the appropriate data to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated
• Set up and maintain excel spreadsheet that tracks and monitors status of all cases referred to the service
• Support the Service Delivery Manager in the maintenance and monitoring of the service tracker
• Create and maintain processes for receiving service feedback and monitoring and reporting service impact data
• Be responsible for entering Direct Referrals and Mindworks referrals on to organisation database along with any corresponding case allocation administration
• On-boarding of new referrals ensuring are contacted within the agreed contract guidelines.  Once initial calls are completed, to ensure these are moved to the correct service pathway
• Monitor the return of consent and registration forms
• Carry out administrative tasks associated with follow-up on all missed sessions, cancellations, queries and case closures
• Create, maintain and monitor a booking system for individual, group and online sessions and all corresponding tasks e.g. room booking, calendar updates and sending meeting links/information to recipients
• Create and support the monitoring of wait lists for the various services and subsequent case allocation to practitioners
• Carry out ‘check in’ communications with families on our waiting list and escalate any new concerns to appropriate staff
• Record all communications with families and professionals related to specific cases on Evide
• Create, maintain and monitor attendance lists for any groups
• Ensure all data and information is uploaded onto all relevant databases
• To organise the administration of all group work delivered by the Family Wellbeing team, in both schools and community settings
• To support Service Delivery Manager with the review of wait list and active cases with practitioners to ensure all sessions and meetings have been planned in and appropriate actions taken and recorded
• To support the Service Delivery Manager in identifying where administrative improvements and efficiencies can be made
• Support the Family Wellbeing team with administration relating to their work with CYPF record keeping
• Monitoring general phone calls and email enquiries, ensuring these get forward to the correct recipient
