Speakers Trust works with over 700 schools as well as partners and supporters from across the third-sector. You will be part of our central team, supporting us to manage these relationships and build new ones. The Role

The purpose of this role is to recruit schools to participate in our programmes and coordinate workshops and events in schools and with other third sector organisations and cultural institutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

Manage School Relationships:

• Support on the recruitment of state schools and partners across the UK to participate in all training programmes including all “Speak Out Challenge” programmes;
• Support schools to engage with our resources;
• Maintain and build school and teacher relationships;
• Liaise with schools before workshop delivery;
• Follow up with schools after workshop delivery;
• Assist in the assessment, monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of the programme;

Liaise With Freelance Delivery Team:

• Liaise with trainers to match availability to workshop dates;
• Coordinate the day-to-day trainer delivery of the training programmes with the rest of the Programmes Team;
• Ensure trainer team has adequate resources and supplies to deliver their training;
• Assist in trainer team administration including invoicing and feedback.

Coordinate Events:

• Support the delivery of regional events such as competitions, launches, promotional and networking events;
• Manage competition entries across programmes- ensuring we have all relevant information and permissions including parental consent;
• Liaise with freelance staff delivering events and external event teams, ensuring they have all the correct resources and information required;
• Help implement quality assessment protocols as agreed with funders.

The Democratic Progress Institute (DPI) is an independent non-governmental organisation established in consultation with international experts in conflict resolution and democratic advancement. DPI seeks to promote peace and democracy building through strengthened public dialogue and engagement.

Overall Purpose of the Position

The Head of Programmes is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the organisations’ project activities and leads the DPI Programmes team, also ensuring a close working relationship with Finance, Fundraising and Operations colleagues. The role works with the CEO on operational, fundraising, strategic and monitoring levels and also involves representing DPI at external meetings and events as needed.

Project Management

• Coordinates the day-to-day operational management of the DPI’s programmes, including the implementation of activities and financial matters– in close coordination with relevant colleagues.
• Monitors the implementation of project activities and ensures compliance with the strategic framework as well as internal procedures and policies including financial and administrative.
• Facilitates programmes and events meetings (including designing the agenda and overseeing the organisation and preparation of materials)
• Manages performance of programmes’ team both Türkiye and UK.
• Organises regular meetings with the Programmes team to ensure project plan is on -track.
• Keeps an up-to-date overview of programme delivery, reports any challenges, and suggests solutions to the CEO.

• Monitors the political and security situation in Türkiye and the wider regions, developments relating to the conflict and impact on the project.

Reporting

• Works closely with the Funding and Development Manager to ensure timely delivery and monitoring of contractual reports, including interim and final reports to donors.
• Ensures that projects are implemented and reported in a timely and qualitative manner.

· Follows up with the team and gathers the reporting of meetings.

· Oversees deliverables and performance of the M&EE and Communications consultants.

Network

• Represents and promotes DPI’s work in varied contexts and maintains relationships with external stakeholders in Türkiye and in Europe such as political party representatives.
• Builds and maintains relationships with partners and donors alongside the Funding and Development Manager when needed.
• Carries out frequent visits to Türkiye and maintains a good working knowledge of the facts on the ground when needed.

Project Development

• Translates strategy into operational objectives and develops project/fundraising proposals including concept notes and narrative project proposals in conjunction with Funding and Development Manager.
• Identifies operational developments needs and develops corresponding opportunities and initiatives.

· Supports the CEO in strategic developments related to the project.

Key Experience/Technical Competencies/Knowledge required for the position.

The successful candidate should have the following

§  A postgraduate degree in Political Science, Law, Conflict Resolution, International Relations, or a related discipline is highly desirable.

§  At least 8-10 years’ experience in project management in charity or NGO setting.

§  Experience directly managing a team including remotely.

§  Strong experience of EU funding streams, rules and regulations and knowledge of government grant processes

§  Strong organisational and planning skills.

§  Critical and strategic thinking skills.

About the Role

We are looking for someone to join our Programme Operations Unit, which exists to provide support to country programme teams Finance, Programme Quality, OMEAL (Organisational, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning), Operations (which includes human resources facilities including digital working).

The Programme Operations Officer role reports to the Programme Quality Lead (PQL) who has overall responsibility for quality oversight of programme compliance including reporting and project implementation across Cord’s country programmes and provides support in developing overall capacity for implementing programmes. The PQL also leads on Cord’s OMEAL system linked to learning and knowledge, ensuring that impact is monitored and learning is disseminated.

The Programme Operations Officer will support the Programme Quality Lead to deliver programme quality and OMEAL oversight and support to country teams and partners. Additionally, the role will support the wider Programme Operations Unit to ensure country programmes teams have the facilities and operational systems needed to deliver their work effectively. This role work closely with country teams to ensure they have the support required and will involve travel to programme locations.

The four focus areas of the role are: programme compliance, country programme support, OMEAL, and global operational support.

This role would suit someone with M&E and project cycle experience gained within a peacebuilding or development iNGO. To lead the financial accounting, management, reporting and oversight of AKF(UK) grants and programmes. This will include accounting reconciliations, grant reconciliations, cost recovery, budgeting, forecasting, internal and external financial reporting, procurement and compliance. Financial accounting, controls, compliance, and audit

·Ensure robust financial systems, procedures and controls are in place, are properly documented, regularly reviewed and efficiently used

Role Overview

We are seeking a mission-driven senior leader to shape and deliver our work supporting young people across the UK.

As Head of Programme – Young People, you will shape and drive the Foundation’s grant-making strategy in support of young people, ensuring our funding delivers systemic change and champions youth-led approaches. You will lead the Youth Fund and related initiatives, setting direction, overseeing grant-making, and influencing practice across the youth sector.

As Head of Programme – Young People, you will lead the strategic development, direction and delivery of the Foundation’s Youth Fund and related initiatives. You will oversee grant-making, champion youth-led practice, and influence sector-wide learning and collaboration.

Reporting to the Director of Grants, you will have direct responsibility for a high-performing team composed of two Grants Managers and one Grants Assistant. You will oversee the strategic development and delivery of the Youth Fund and Follow-on Fund, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s priorities and best practices in youth-focused grant-making.

You will work closely with funded organisations, trustees, advisors, and sector partners to strengthen their impact, embed learning, and ensure our funding supports long-term systemic change.

• Significant experience in the youth, charity or civil society sector, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing young people.

This exciting new project has emerged following consultation and engagement work in 2025 across central government, Local Authorities, regional London-wide partners, Young Camden, Young Brent and Young Westminster Foundations, and the local voluntary sectors.

The result is an innovative, co-funded project, seeking to work in new ways for the benefit of young people at risk of serious youth violence in this part of NW London. This role will coordinate all aspects of the management of this programme, driving high quality delivery and outcomes. 

The focus of this collaboration is to tackle Serious Youth Violence and promote youth safety across the stretch of NW London from Kilburn High Road (Brent & Camden), through Queen’s Park (Brent & Westminster) which covers three boroughs. This part of London has been a hotspot for serious youth violence for many years, for young people both based in these communities and passing through. Tackling the issues in this part of North West London has always been a challenge, as the area is split across Local Authority lines. The area also features high levels of serious violence involving young people, both committing offences and also being victims of them (often interlinked). This is coupled with high levels of poverty and inequality, and also features relatively fewer youth opportunities than elsewhere in these boroughs.

As part of the project, the Local Authorities of each area are contributing funds over the next three years to fund collaborative and cross-borough projects that will support the safety of children and young people in this community. The project is funded by John Lyon’s Charity.

The project recognises that many of the challenges in this part of London are structural, but is motivated by the hope that key partners working together in new and different ways can help to breakdown some of the barriers that interrupt effective intervention and prevention.

The project does not seek to reinvent the wheel, and instead seeks to leverage the existing connections, expertise, partnerships and projects already happening within local areas.

IRC UK 
IRC UK is part of the IRC global network, which has its global headquarters in New York. The Purpose of the Role

The Economic Empowerment (EE) Programme Manager oversees the development, implementation, and completion of all grants, contracts and activities related to the Economic Empowerment department, including refugee employment, workforce development, small business development, and financial capabilities. The portfolio currently includes a large private donor grant and several small local authority contracts. Responsibilities include supervision of economic empowerment staff, primarily the ESOL & Adult Education Lead and Employment Caseworkers, and ensuring compliance with programme requirements.

Key Working Relationships:

Position directly supervises: ESOL & Adult Education Lead and Employment Caseworkers and work closely with the Finance Manager, other Programmes Managers, Senior Programme Development Advisor and other departments where there is overlap in client caseload.

The position work with external partners such as Community-based organisations, employers, and workforce agencies.

Key Accountabilities:

 Oversight and growth of Programmes:

• Effectively manage the development, implementation, compliance, and completion of all grants and contracts within the department.
• Responsible for the development of grant proposals, including working with the Senior Programme Development Advisor to find new opportunities and strengthen donor relations to grow the EE portfolio of work.
• Monitor the provision of services through regular and systematic case file reviews, and quality assurance protocols including data QA to ensure compliance with donor requirements and provision of quality services.

 Staff Supervision and Other Responsibilities:

• Participate as an active member of the RAI management team and relevant internal and external groups. 
• Support the Economic Empowerment team members; formally evaluate team and individual performance to ensure objectives have been met.

About you

You are an experienced programme management professional with a strong track record of managing complex, multi-country or high-value programmes funded by institutional and corporate donors, with experience managing projects across the full project lifecycle, from contracting and start-up through implementation, reporting, and close-out. You bring sound judgement, strong organisational skills, and the confidence to lead donor relationships, negotiate contracts, and resolve delivery challenges in partnership with country offices and stakeholders.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French, and experience working in or with francophone contexts, particularly in West Africa. Experience engaging with corporate partners and an understanding of agricultural value chains, such as cocoa or similar commodities, and the realities facing smallholder farmers, will be a strong advantage. About the role

The Senior Programme Manager is responsible for independently managing a mixed portfolio of humanitarian and/or development programmes, including some of CARE International UK’s most complex and high-value projects. The role leads on programme oversight across the full project lifecycle, from contracting and start-up through to delivery, reporting, and close-out, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and risk management.

The role involves close collaboration with country offices, partners, and internal teams, including Programme Finance, Programme Funding, and technical advisers, as well as acting as a senior interface with donors. The priority geographic focus for this post is West Africa, with particular emphasis on francophone countries, and the portfolio may include programmes linked to corporate partnerships and agricultural value chains.

Key skills and abilities required include strong programme and financial management capability, excellent donor and stakeholder relationship management, the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities, and confidence working independently while escalating risks appropriately. The role requires excellent English and French language skills, sound judgement, and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

About this role

SPANA is investing in its Grants and Compliance function to strengthen financial oversight and accountability across its global partnerships. The Grants and Compliance team plays a critical role in safeguarding resources, supporting partners and ensuring compliance with donor requirements and SPANA’s internal policies. The team works closely with colleagues across departments and with partner organisations to deliver impactful programmes for the welfare of working animals worldwide.
Reporting to the Grants Compliance Manager, the Grants Finance Officer is a key role within this function. The position ensures robust financial management of grants and partner funding by reviewing financial reports, conducting compliance checks and supporting partners with capacity building. The role also maintains accurate grant records, assists with due diligence and contributes to risk assessments and audit processes. By providing clear financial support and guidance, the Grants Finance Officer helps SPANA and its partners meet donor expectations and strengthen accountability, ultimately enabling better programme delivery and impact.

Contract, location and salary

This is a UK based, permanent, full-time (34.5 hours per week) role, and current right to work in the UK is required. This is a hybrid position with regular attendance (1-2 days per month or more if preferred) in our London office.

We are the main grant-making and fundraising charity for Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (Moorfields) and its academic partner UCL (in particular the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology), two world-leading institutions. The majority of our support funds innovation and research into eye health, and we have an emphasis on building capacity and developing the careers of researchers and clinicians.

We have ambitious plans. We have put into action a five-year business plan that is supporting our growth from raising and funding around £6 million annually to becoming a £10 million a year charity.

This is an exciting opportunity for a grants officer to bring enthusiasm and experience to our dedicated team, following robust and effective processes to select and award the most impactful projects and programmes, and collaborating with a number of varied stakeholders.

About the role

You will be joining a friendly and supportive grants and research team who are committed to ensuring the charity has robust grant making mechanisms to determine best use of charitable funding together with monitoring and evaluating projects and programmes. 

You will be the primary point of contact for applicants and other stakeholders throughout the grant management process, ensuring they are supported and managed in a professional and timely manner. This would include communicating feedback to applicants on funding proposals following decision making. You will support development of content that advertises funding opportunities and showcases the impact of the charity's funding.

Our close proximity, and working relationships, with Moorfields and its academic partner UCL (in particular the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology) are very important to this role. A successful candidate will enjoy working with academics, clinicians and other hospital staff, supporting their engagement with, and applications to, our funding programmes.

About you

You will have ambition to develop or expand your career in grants management within a growing grant-making charity. You will have a qualification in a biomedical sciences/health subject. 

• You will also have research experience in an academic or clinical setting and an understanding of research funding processes in a grant-making charity.
• You will be an excellent communicator, able to build confident working relationships at all levels. An ability to network and liaise with scientific, clinical and research communities will be key to your success in this role.
