The role

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and support the successful delivery of a new digital CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Diary project for RCSLT members.

We’re looking for a part-time, fixed-term professional to lead a high-impact digital project from discovery to launch. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget. The project, the CPD Diary, is an essential tool for our members, and your leadership will be key to ensuring it meets their needs and expectations.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a Project Manager with a recognised project management qualification and a strong background in delivering digital or software projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills, along with strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, and an understanding of agile, iterative, and waterfall methodologies is essential.

Experience with Salesforce or similar platforms is highly valued, along with a strong track record in managing procurement, budgets, and coordinating contractors or agencies. You’ll also bring sharp risk assessment skills, a solid grasp of governance reporting, and the confidence to manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders effectively. Most importantly, you’ll understand the aims and values of the RCSLT and demonstrate the ability to embed these into your work and strategic approach.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Manager to lead the AQS Access Pathway Project, funded by City Bridge Foundation. This newly created role will be responsible for redesigning and updating the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) and developing a new progression-based Access Pathway for advice services.

This is a fixed-term role, with funding secured for a minimum of 36 months. You will work closely with our Deputy Director and a wide range of stakeholders to successfully deliver a new version of AQS and its accompanying framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and deliver the AQS Access Pathway Project in collaboration with the ASA Deputy Director.

• Convene and facilitate a Project Advisory Group comprising ASA members and key stakeholders.

• Engage with external stakeholders including auditing and accrediting bodies such as AgeUK, Citizens Advice, Welsh Government, and the Money and Pensions Service.

• Promote and communicate the project to advice services, funders, and wider voluntary sector audiences.

• Oversee project monitoring and evaluation, including data collection and reporting to ASA’s Board and funders.

• Support budget tracking and financial reporting in collaboration with senior leadership.

• Actively recruit new services to engage with AQS and promote interest in quality assurance across the sector.

• Undertake other duties as required to support successful delivery and integration of the project.

South East London Mind’s award-winning Mindful Mums programme aims to build resilience and prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy up to 1 year). The service has supported over 4,000 parents within the last eight years.

We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to act as our Single Point of Access for professionals, service users and volunteers. The role is responsible for managing all referrals, providing holistic and person-centred support to vulnerable women experiencing mental health challenges. The role will provide high quality and supportive line management of staff, and will oversee the recruitment life cycle of volunteers to the Mindful Mums project, including interviews, onboarding, training and supervision.

You will be highly organised with experience of staff and data management in a target-driven environment. Working independently but collaboratively, you will take a solution-focused approach to improve processes and will be able to utilise databases to produce and analyse reports. You will also be a confident facilitator, as some group and training delivery will be expected.

This role would ideally suit a parent who has successfully managed their own perinatal mental health problems and those with good understanding of promoting positive perinatal mental wellbeing.

The evaluation team works with schools and organisations, analysing the impact of programmes and interventions to help them do more of what works and less of what doesn’t. The Opportunity

The Manager role works across ImpactEd Evaluation. Our partners encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. We aim to deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions to benefit young people.

You will act as a consultant on a range of different partnerships to help partners develop their evaluation strategy and approach. For example, you could deliver independent evaluations for organisations like the Careers and Enterprise Company, Nesta or multi-academy Trusts such as Lift Schools. You will also have opportunities to contribute to development of team strategy and learning and development resources.

As a manager you will act as a project lead, delivering high-quality research projects at scale, and support the creation of specific deliverables for projects led by others. This covers the end to end of research design and delivery, including the creation of Theories of Change and evaluation frameworks, data collection and analysis, and impact reporting to help our partners learn about the effectiveness of their programmes. At manager level you will have the opportunity to take on larger-scope partnerships supported by a project sponsor at senior manager level or above.

THE ROLE

We have a fantastic opportunity to join us in the position of Project Development Co-ordinator, to work on either a full or part time basis. Job Share applications are also welcome.

Covering the operational, strategic and delivery of work across the Eastern region we are looking for a Project Development Co-ordinator to operate across the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Travel within and occasionally outside these regions will be a necessity.

This post provides an exciting and rewarding opportunity to supervise, deliver and lead on our stakeholder and community engagement to support the delivery of NEA’s work programme.  The role will help deliver projects that can change lives, particularly during the energy crisis. 

NEA’s project work aims to bring improvements to the health and wellbeing of low income and vulnerable householders, through one-to-one advice, group awareness sessions, upskilling and sharing of best practice. 

Delivering on a range or projects, which demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders, you will understand and drive the development of partnerships working with local authorities, housing providers, and various other partners.

You will oversee the delivery of project outputs and outcomes, delivering energy and fuel debt advice directly to householders and be responsible for the preparation of reports to funders including collation of evidence of outcomes achieved, maintaining relationships with a network of stakeholders across a region.

You will also work with the Project Development Manager to identify and develop new programmes of work, including preparation of funding applications, presentation of funding proposals to relevant funding bodies and to ensure effective liaison of NEA’s work programme with other activities within NEA.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

You will have demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in the fields of energy efficiency, community development and regeneration, housing, social policy or consumer issues.

It is important that you have an awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them. 

You will need good organisational skills, as well as excellent written and communication skills, as you will maintain appropriate records and data, and produce regular written reports on project progress. 

You will be an excellent communicator, with experience and understanding of how to effectively address the energy needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders - with the desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives.

Knowledge of energy efficiency, particularly within the domestic sector and community buildings, is desirable.

• £33,931 to £38,594 (Points 23 – 28) (plus £3,300 London Weighting if applicable). New appointments are usually made at the starting point of the scale.

Ascension Community Trust (ACT) is a much-loved community-based charity in Custom House, Newham.  We deliver a range of projects including Newham District Foodbank (a Trussell Trust foodbank run by ACT and two community partners), welfare benefits advice, immigration advice, ESOL classes, work with adults with learning difficulties, as well as work with children, young people and their families.

This an exciting time for the programme with a SEND school being built next door to our centre, and with established relationships with several care homes – we expect that this programme will go from strength to strength.

• Gardening Project with children from a local SEND school.

You will have the leadership skills to support a small team of sessional staff. You will be at ease in relating to adults and children with learning difficulties as well as their parents and carers. The Project Manager/Business Analyst role forms part of the PMO Team. The role will include management of priority projects across the Stewardship agile change portfolio, as well as the analysis and improvement of business processes across Stewardship. The role will also work with our Technology team members to improve workflow, through identifying and resolving challenges and dependencies, enabling teams to more effectively deliver organisational priority projects and BAU activities. The successful delivery of projects and improving our business processes, is an essential part of enabling us to achieve our strategic objectives.

The role holder will work cross-functionally across the organisation to ensure we achieve our change targets, through delivering projects on time, to budget and required level of quality, as well as improving business processes across Stewardship Teams. You will be supporting the organisation to develop new agile, collaborative ways of working, and the role holder will need to help others understand the benefits of working within the Agile framework.
