We are looking for a Communications and Marketing Manager to drive Family Fund’s communications and marketing team, including strategic and operational activity.

The role

As Communications and Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Group Communications and Marketing to lead Family Fund’s communications and marketing function and team.

You’ll drive high performing strategies and campaigns, work with high profile supporters and lead successful brand channels, content and evaluations that make an impact every day. In this role you’ll drive our brand profile and awareness and ensure that all communications and marketing activities are integrated, inclusive, coherent and engaging, to drive our organisational strategy and objectives.

You’ll be comfortable briefing senior staff for media interviews, leading photography and videography shoots, managing a multitude of-channels, and coaching and developing a team.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self motivated Intensive Needs Support Coach to join us on a fixed term rolling contract as part of the Rough Sleeper Initiative Project. You will provide effective practical and personal support and guidance to our residents during their stay in our accommodation to enable them to become more resilient and to live independently. The service supports residents who have a history of non-engagement and have a history of rough sleeping and complex needs. You will proactively support them to be more engaged in activities and support plans to overcome their personal barriers. You will run activities and complete safety plans, support plans, and other appropriate interventions to support our residents to achieve their goals.

About you

We are looking for someone who is dedicated and passionate to supporting those who face multiple disadvantages within society, and have a history of homelessness. You will be driven to help end the cycle, by providing personalised support to individuals for them to gain greater independence and have long term access to accommodation. You will have an understanding of the challenges they face and understand how different complex needs can vary. We're looking for someone who is resilient, a problem solver, and able to work in fast paced ever-changing environments. 

• Experience in working directly with people who have experienced homelessness
• Experience with supporting people with multiple complex needs which can further include substance use and mental health
• Ability to build rapport and develop positive working relationships with our resident groups including those who have challenging behaviour and substance use challenges

About the role

We are looking for an experienced marcomms professional to help us upscale our campaigns activity. From leading the national Tomorrow’s Engineers Week campaign and leveraging external awareness days to increasing audience engagement with our work, this is a varied role working across the marketing, communications, PR mix. Most of our campaigns are either targeted at teachers and careers leaders working in schools or at companies in engineering and technology who want to build the future talent pool.

About the Role

A core strand of the charity’s offering works to help adults build the skills, knowledge, confidence and behaviours to manage their money well. We do this by delivering Financial Wellbeing Workshops, Webinars, Specialist Programmes, Consultancy projects and through distribution of our Money Manual. Working alongside two other researchers, you will assess banks’ positions on climate change and other sustainability themes. This involves collecting information from banks’ disclosures and external databases, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, and translating insights into actionable steps for banks and investors engaging with banks, among other stakeholders. You will have many opportunities to challenge banks and shape sustainability standards for the banking sector by contributing to:

• Investor briefings and short research notes reviewing climate commitments made by individual banks.
• Banking sector benchmark, ranking European banks on their approach to climate change and other sustainability themes.
• Thematic reports and internal position papers reviewing how the European banking sector aims to address specific issues and/or the relevant standards banks rely on.

Overview of the Role

As YSP approaches its 50th anniversary it is at a pivotal moment in its history. The Trustees and Senior Leadership Team are developing proposals to secure the financial future of YSP for the next 50 years. This role will be leading and developing the Volunteering and Employability functions for FSSW, alongside providing operational safeguarding support to the Safeguarding Team. The core volunteer program supports the running of the organisation as a whole every day and is embedded across all departments in Bristol and Plymouth. The Employability team runs a NEET Employability programme in our South Bristol warehouse 3 days a week, with administrative duties full time. This part of FSSW is expanding and your role will oversee the pilot and launch of another Employability programme in Plymouth.

Myeloma UK is looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to join our growing Community and Events team.  You’ll be joining the team as we continue to refine and expand our mass participation events portfolio including London Paris Ride, Great North Run and 100 miles for myeloma. You will have experience in event delivery or project planning, delivering these activities within tight deadlines while successfully building effective relationships.

The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team.  You will be self-motivated and able to work remotely with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks and having an interest in sporting and mass participation fundraising events.

Previous experience or knowledge of digital marketing, virtual fundraising events and using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential. 

About the role

As the Events Fundraiser you will be required to research, promote and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and activities, providing excellent stewardship to supporters, whilst working to help achieve monthly fundraising income targets.  You will work to deliver an annual calendar of runs, walks, challenge and sporting events across the UK as well increasing support through Myeloma UK virtual and Facebook events.

The role holder will work with the Senior Event Development Fundraiser to provide the highest quality of event delivery as well as developing relationships, securing support, marketing, delivering and monitoring the event ensuring post event evaluation and future recommendations are made.  They will also work closely with Community Fundraisers, supporting them as they identify opportunities to expand and diversify their fundraising portfolio.

You will work with other teams, develop materials required to support all marketing and promotion of events, ensuring organisational brand, style and key messages are adopted and ensure maximum use of database and other technology to increase operational efficiency within event fundraising.
