Position

The Psychologist will deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions, providing psychological assessments, formulations, and therapeutic support to asylum seekers and refugees with complex trauma-related mental health needs. This role will focus on the delivery of trauma-informed care, including interventions such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Duration: 12 months FTC, with possibility of 3-year extension (subject to project funding)

Location: Birmingham/Sandwell (5-day in-person role working in the project clinic)

Salary: £46,784.49 - £57,181.04 per annum

Job Purpose

The psychologist will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with caseworkers, assistant psychologists, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of psychological services into broader psycho-social support. A key responsibility is supporting and supervising assistant psychologists in the delivery of interventions, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and the service’s ethical standards.

About you and the role

The purpose of this role is to manage operational delivery of our School by School Programme, ensuring efficient and effective delivery. 

You will be supported by our Chief Innovation Officer, and manage our Chef Trainers delivering our School by School interventions. You will work closely with the Director of Partnerships & Impact, our School Engagement Manager and our Research Supervisor. 

Your role will oversee our School by School interventions, delivered across multiple school sites. This role will be primarily focused in London, but will include supporting schools in locations across the UK as we develop new hubs. You will be joining a dynamic and growing charity who are passionate about delivering exceptional training, skill sharing, expertise and know-how to advance the quality of food preparation, food service and food education in schools.

You will have an understanding of the context that we operate in, education and food sectors. You will have strong people skills, and the ability to manage effective partnerships with external organisations.

The responsibilities:

• To work with the Chief Innovation Officer to ensure that all programme delivery of school interventions is delivered in line with our vision, values and ethos.

• To support and manage our Chef Trainers to ensure that programme delivery is carried out in the most effective and efficient way.

• Coordinate and oversee all programme activities, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.

• Managing the programme budget, identifying issues, and ensuring milestones are met. 

• Work closely with the Chief Innovation Officer, Director of Partnerships & Impact and the School Engagement Manager to assess, cost and propose suitable programmes of support for schools and multi-academy trusts interested in our School by School programme. 

• Working with the School Chef Educator and Membership teams on our regional expansion strategy, creating schools that are centres of excellence across the country.

• Working with the School Engagement Manager, attend and contribute to meetings with the Senior Leadership of prospective new schools and academies, developing proposals and financial forecasting.

• Liaise and manage relationships with the Senior Leadership in the schools and academies we work with, being the key contact for operational delivery of programmes. 

• To ensure that service level agreements are agreed with schools and that our delivery matches the agreements.

• To monitor costs of the programme delivery, reporting progress of programmes to the Chief Innovation Officer, identifying any risks or delays to programme delivery. 

• At all times to ensure that our school interventions are being delivered in a legally compliant, cost-effective way.

• Work closely with the Chef Trainers to ensure our advice to, and work in, schools is legally compliant.

• Support the Chef Trainers in monitoring legal safety compliance in schools, promptly flagging major concerns to the Chief Innovation Officer and where appropriate, the key school contact.

• Ensuring learning and evaluation is embedded in our programme delivery, working with the Chef Trainers to document best practice learnt from each programme. 

• To work alongside the Director of Partnerships & Impact and Research Supervisor to ensure that we’re collecting accurate and relevant data to measure our impact, evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the programmes, conducting regular assessments and measurements.

• Work with the Research Supervisor to support preparing reports on the impact of the School by School programmes, including statistical data, trends, and success stories. 

• Work with the School Engagement Manager to maintain accurate data records and ensure our contacts database is up to date with relevant chef, school lead and engagement information. 

• Collaborate with the Chef Trainers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of schools. 

Your skills and experience

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic team administrator to join our small, friendly and relaxed team at SCONUL, the professional association for academic and research libraries. The team currently works one to two days a week from our modern offices close to Euston station and the remainder of the week from home.

The Role 
 
Reporting to the Retail Development Manager, the Retail Development Officer will support with the continued growth and development of our retail network.

The role holder will actively support the Retail Development Manager to build, deliver, and implement a pipeline of new sites development in retail, including shops, cafes and superstores, Yorkshire Cancer Research Centres, and other retail related projects. 

You will have responsibility of supporting the Retail Development Manager with market analysis and feasibility studies of potential new sites, contributing to the development of business cases, projects plans and delivery of these plans as well as contributing to compliance and ongoing maintenance and required improvements within the retail real estate. There will also be an opportunity for the role holder to inform future decision making through the delivery of business insight, KPI data and other metric reports relating to income. 

Specifically, you will: 

New Developments in Retail 

• Support the Retail Development Manager in exploring and identifying the best locations for new shop openings, including market analysis, feasibility study, site visits, and site presentation. 

• Assist in developing business cases for each new shop, ensuring they are financially viable and key decisions are documented. 

• Support the development of project plans for shop openings, closures, and refits by ensuring suppliers, tradespeople and internal stakeholders are engaged and informed of key dates. 

• Maintain and nurture relationships with appointed property agents to develop a pipeline of potential new shops. 

• Support where possible the recruitment process for new shop managers and volunteers and ensure this is complete in time for each new shop opening. 

• Work alongside the Retail Development Manager to identify new suppliers, ensuring they are suitable, competent, and aligned to our values. 

• Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure new shops are in good condition and compliance documents are in place before being handed over to operate under business-as-usual activities. 

• Work collaboratively with the Retail Area Manager, with regards to monitoring compliance with retail policies and procedures, as well as Health & Safety standards. 

• Act as a visible leader in relation to all health and safety responsibilities, taking reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others. Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements, processes and procedures. 

• Assist as a contact for leasing and tenancy negotiations and discussions with relevant internal and external stakeholders. 

• Support the Retail Development Manager in developing and testing new income streams, processes, and systems before moving to business-as-usual activities. 

• Undertake regular shop visits/shop floor inspections, directing and supporting the team to deliver creative and inspiring layouts, space planning and use of point of sale to ensure that each shop maximises its sales potential, and that the visual presentation of the shops represents the brand image of Yorkshire Cancer Research. 

Retail Estate Development  

• Support the Retail Development Manager, Retail Area Manager, Director of Retail & Operations, and Shop Managers in regularly reviewing our current retail estate, identifying maintenance and other improvements required. 

• Assist in developing business cases for each project, ensuring they are financially viable and key decisions are documented. 

• Support development of project plans for refurbishments and improvements by ensuring suppliers, tradespeople and internal stakeholders are engaged and informed of key dates. 

Other duties: 

• Support the development and execution of the ten-year Retail business strategy. 

• Deliver key business insight to drive improvements through analysis. 

• Provide regular KPI and metric reports on income to inform future decision making and planning. 

About You

About the Program

The Europe Regional Finance program has evolved out of our Financial Regulation and Policy Program that began in 2019 with a narrow focus on European central banks. Since then, we've expanded to shape financial regulation and policy globally to accelerate clean energy and create lasting systemic change in how public finance addresses climate challenges. Now the Europe Regional Finance program will focus on EU Policy and Finance and UK Policy and Finance. 

About The Role

Working closely with the Program Director, the Program Manager adapts and manages the Europe Regional Finance program to ensure the program team delivers on its objectives and goals. The role requires high-level coordination and support to a team working across Europe, leading campaign planning and evaluation processes, grant management, while coordinating the program's budgeting and re-forecasting. 

The Program Manager ensures the effectiveness of the Europe Regional Finance Program by managing and coordinating its various projects, overseeing budgets and grant cycles, implementing team effectiveness initiatives, and supporting the development and execution of program planning, monitoring and evaluation processes.

We support networks of organisations to work together to achieve outcomes that would not be possible by individual organisations acting alone. We expect all roles at Sunrise to actively support the capacity building of these networks and partner organisations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Director to develop and implement robust planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes and foster a culture that recognises the importance of failure and learning in the pursuit of greater impact, identifying ways of measuring impact and success.
• Manage a multi-million dollar campaign budget, including tracking spending to stay on budget, reporting on our spending to donors and internal audiences, and advising on a partner grants plan and resourcing plan.
• Manage the entire program’s grant portfolio, ensuring efficient management and processing of grants to support program delivery. This includes providing guidance to team members on grant processes, tracking and monitoring grant payments, authoring and reviewing grant dockets and memos as appropriate, working with other program teams on grants as needed, and ensuring timely follow-up and feedback with partners. 
• Oversee program’s contracts, including the hiring and onboarding of necessary new agency partnerships, contracts, and temp employees, and tracking and monitoring contract payments.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive team environment that values continuous learning and professional growth to maximize program effectiveness, including proactively supporting the professional development of individual team members and line management as appropriate for the program structure.
• Lead programmatic oversight of risk, security, and compliance as appropriate for the program and in coordination with TSP’s operations team
• Co-lead on high-performance, collaborative and sustainable teamworking by fostering Sunrise’s culture and hiring, managing, and developing talented individuals.
• Lead the planning and delivery of online and in-person events (briefings, convenings, and retreats) from ideation to debrief, with responsibilities spanning logistics, agenda design, facilitation support, vendor management, RSVP oversight, in-person support, and post-event follow-up.
• Lead in developing program-specific onboarding systems and materials for new staff and contractors that build on Sunrise-wide onboarding processes.

Sitting within the Projects department, this role exists to serve the Outreach department by managing the collection, processing and organisation of media and narrative content from our global project partners.

You will be the primary custodian of our photo and story library, ensuring all content—photos, videos, audio files, written reports—is received, catalogued and stored appropriately, sensitively and in line with our internal policies. This work is vital in equipping our Outreach team with powerful, story-rich content that inspires awareness, prayer and generosity in support of our mission.

The Philanthropy and Global Engagement Division (PAGE) is integral to LSE’s capacity to realise our strategic direction through engaging with alumni and friends, staff and students, volunteers, organisations, and the wider community to increase philanthropic income for agreed School priorities.

The Proposition Development Executive will support the development of fundraising projects to maximise philanthropic support for key areas of the School’s work. This includes developing propositions, creating and maintaining repositories of information on fundraising projects, and supporting activities that help colleagues from the Division of Philanthropy and Global Engagement, and the wider School, to communicate philanthropic investment opportunities to external and internal audiences.

The candidate

• Experience of working in a role delivering end-to-end management of projects with complex internal and external stakeholder relationships.

• Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to draw out and interrogate information, anticipating challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

· Review financial data and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.

· Present financial reports with variance analysis and commentary for the board.

· Support with the preparation of annual accounts, working with Selce’s nominated accountants and the Board.

· Respond to any queries from Selce’s nominated accountants or from the Board.

· Maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for all areas of the business.

· Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets.

Financial Record Keeping:
