About the role

• Reporting to our Senior Research Impact Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
• Provide day-to-day administration for the research portfolio
• Be the first point of contact for reporting enquiries from funded researchers
• Collate qualitative and quantitative data to support impact reporting
• Support the ongoing development of progress reporting forms
• Develop and maintain working relationships with grant-holders
• Organise and attend meetings with researchers in support of impact evaluation activities
• Liaise with the Communications Team to publicise research outputs
• Respond to requests for information about research impact from across the organisation
• Assist in the delivery of scientific seminars and award events
• Represent the charity at external events.

About you

You will use your excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills to help us manage our diverse research portfolio.  You are motivated and enthusiastic and you will be keen to get involved in projects aimed at achieving our ambitious research strategy.  You can see full details in the attached job description, but we will be looking particularly closely for evidence of the following criteria in your written application:

• Experience of working or volunteering in a science-related environment
• Experience of collating and analysing data using Microsoft Excel plus generally high level of IT skills

Salary, benefits and working arrangements

We will offer a salary of between £32,000 and £37,000 per annum depending on skills and experience for a full-time post (36 hours).  We are happy to consider a part-time contract (min 0.8 FTE).

We value spending time working in-person to develop strong connections with each other and with our mission, so you will be based at our central London office for a minimum of three days a week (usually Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) with the option to work remotely for the remainder.

About Malaria No More UK
Malaria is one of the oldest killer diseases in history; even now, despite recent progress, it claims the life of a child every minute. Malaria No More UK is part of a global movement that is determined to make this the generation that beats this killer. To realise this vision, we need to mobilise governments, influencers, businesses and the public, inspiring them to commit funds, energy and resources to ending deaths from malaria and wiping out the disease for good.

Role description
Malaria No More UK is looking to appoint a highly motivated Senior Advocacy Officer to join our team and help implement our advocacy strategies. Working with both our UK and global advocacy, you will cultivate a new generation of malaria champions and push malaria up the political agenda. This role will work on increasing our visibility and the resonance of our case with key stakeholders, including decision makers in the UK and around the world. Securing increased support will be vital to global efforts to accelerate progress towards ending malaria for good within a generation. We are looking for a confident communicator with strong project management skills and a good understanding of political advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Providing project management support for a range of projects relating to our UK and global advocacy, including acting as project lead on agreed projects.
• Strategic stakeholder mapping, including building and maintaining relationships with UK parliamentarians and keeping contact records in our database updated on a regular basis. 
• Lead the delivery of high-quality events for policy and political audiences, including at the UK party conferences, and international meetings.
• Daily monitoring of the global malaria landscape and UK parliamentary activities and keeping the team informed of relevant developments and engagement opportunities.
• Drafting of political briefings on key policy areas within malaria and global health.
• Providing administrative support relating to our UK and global advocacy, including the coordination of stakeholder mailings, updating our contact management system (Salesforce), scheduling and attending meetings, and taking minutes.
• Managing relationships with scientists working on malaria and providing them with advocacy insight through our UK Malaria Technical Expert Collective.
• Identifying opportunities to engage political decision-makers and new malaria champions in the UK.   

Person specification

Essential

• Strong commitment to the mission and values of MNMUK
• Demonstrated experience working in a parliamentary, advocacy or campaigning role.
• A degree, or equivalent experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail.

About the role:

For a young person who has experienced homelessness, care, uncertainty or trauma, night-time can feel like the hardest part of the day. As a Night Support Assistant in our Camden Young People’s Service, you will be part of the steady, trusted presence that helps young people feel safe, seen and supported when they need it most.

You’ll work in our supported accommodation service for young people aged 16 and over, helping to create a calm, nurturing and secure environment through the night. Day to day, this will include completing welfare checks, responding to incidents or emergencies, monitoring building safety, recording and handing over key information, supporting young people who may be distressed or struggling, and helping make sure the service runs smoothly until the day team arrive.

This is more than keeping a building open overnight. It’s about building meaningful, boundaried relationships with young people, responding with warmth and confidence, and knowing when to act, when to listen and when to escalate. You’ll be supported with training, guidance and opportunities to grow your skills, whether you’re building your confidence in youth support, developing your understanding of trauma-informed practice, or looking to take your next step in supported housing. Working closely with the wider team, you’ll help make sure our service remains a safe foundation for young people as they move towards independence, confidence and a future shaped by their own goals.

Rolling Rota pattern (subject to change according to business need)

Week 1 40 hrs: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun: 10pm-8.30 am

Week 2 30 hrs: Wed, Thur, Fri: 10pm-8.30 am

About you:

• You have experience supporting young people or young adults facing homelessness, risk, trauma or multiple disadvantage, ideally within accommodation or frontline support settings.
• You’re confident working awake night shifts and helping to keep the service safe, calm and welcoming overnight.
• You’re able to respond calmly to challenging behaviour, safeguarding concerns or incidents, adapting your approach to the needs of each young person.
• You’re comfortable keeping accurate records, using basic IT systems and working with numerical information as part of safe service delivery.
• You bring a reliable, resilient and thoughtful approach, with the flexibility to work a night rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.

Senior Policy Advisor - Regions – Job Description 

Resolve Poverty is recruiting to a new Senior Policy Advisor – Regions role that will oversee the delivery of Resolve Poverty’s policy and systems change activities in several English regions and in Wales. You will also support the Chief Executive and Head of Policy and Research with our strategic approach to regional work, ensuring Resolve Poverty is positioned to influence and shape regional approaches to poverty across England and in the devolved nations.

You will join a high performing team that is increasingly shaping responses to poverty at a local and regional level and informing national policy. Building on our work exploring the role of regional government in tackling poverty and in building active regional anti-poverty networks, you will be excited about contributing to strategic development and managing and delivering policy and systems changes activities.

With a background in policy and systems change work, you will also bring strong organisational and planning skills with an ability to contribute to a long-term vision for this and Resolve Poverty’s wider work.

Particulars: 

• Location: Combination of homebased and working from Resolve Poverty’s offices in central Manchester. You will be expected to work from the office for at least two days per week. There is an expectation of travel across the country that comes with this role.

• Working hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Part-time hours will be considered.

 What You'll Be Doing as the Senior Digital Loyalty Executive 

• Driving the digital stewardship and loyalty journeys to maximise the lifetime value of supporters and customers through effective project management

• Working closely with our retail teams to develop and deliver retail customer journeys to drive revenue across the Barnardo's online shop

• Experience of planning, implementing and evaluating campaigns, including both fundraising or marketing programmes and strategic or process change projects.

Therapeutic Management

• To attend monthly one-to-one clinical supervision with a supervisor approved by the Southmead Project. (Supervision is a requirement of this charity as members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

• To attend monthly one-to-one line management meetings.

• To work to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy ethical guidelines.

• To work within the framework, spirit and ethos of the Southmead Project’s Equal Opportunities Policy, and actively engage in promoting the policy within the charity and in all dealings with clients and other agencies.

Person Specification

ESSENTIAL:

• Diploma in Counselling (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited course or equivalent); and to have BACP accreditation or be working towards BACP accreditation or equivalent.

• To be a registered member of BACP, UKCP, NCS or equivalent professional body, with over 5 years of supervised counselling experience.

• Significant experience of providing one-to-one counselling for survivors of abuse and carrying out initial assessments and risk assessments.

• Significant knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting this client group and the impact of trauma.

• Significant line management and appraisal experience with the ability to effectively co-ordinate a team. 

• The ability to support staff to foster a positive working environment and deliver a high quality of service.

• Experience of recruiting staff, including inductions and training.

• Experience of managing safeguarding concerns and supporting others to act in accordance with safeguarding policies and in the best interests of the client or those at risk. 

• The ability to work with clients online or by phone.

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional individual fundraiser to join the Philanthropy team at King’s College London, leading on fundraising for The Dickson Poon School of Law.

This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major gift prospects, securing and stewarding significant philanthropic gifts at the £50k to £5 million gift level, supporting senior stakeholders with their fundraising efforts, and championing the work and priorities of King’s and the Dickson Poon School of Law.

The team will play a crucial role in the delivery of the University’s ambition to significantly scale philanthropic income for faculties, as we prepare to launch our next major fundraising campaign in 2027 and mark the university’s bicentenary in 2029.

We will build on our already successful fundraising to achieve ambitious new goals for philanthropy – creating strong partnerships across campus and with donors, to realise shared priorities and deliver strategic impact.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with academic and professional service colleagues across King’s to secure significant philanthropic income to support student outcomes and drive world-leading teaching and research.

Sound Minds is a user-led charity transforming lives through music, film and art. We are a thriving community bound together by creativity and a shared belief in mutual learning and peer support.

Our Canerows Programme delivers a ward visiting service at Springfield Hospital and community-based Peer Support.

Main purposes of the job:

 Sound Minds is recruiting a Peer Support Worker to join our team in Wandsworth.

The Peer Support Transformation Project is funded by and delivered in partnership with South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust, Mushkil Aasaan, and Wandsworth Carers Centre. It is an integral part of Sound Minds’ Canerows programme; a user led service working to improve the lives of people who are overcoming mental health challenges.

This is a new role at Sound Minds, developed to provide proactive and responsive administrative support across the Peer Support project. The role will provide efficient administration, ensuring that clients on the wait list for peer support are contacted in a timely fashion, and that databases are well maintained.

The postholder will have a passion for maintaining organised systems, whilst also having a friendly approach, communicating with clients with care and empathy.

Salary: £26,936 per annum (pro rata) & 3% contribution to pension

Hours: 14 hours per week

This fixed term contract ends on 31 March 2027 and is renewable depending on funding.

Strong IT skills are essential for this role. You will be required to have a DBS (criminal records check) and satisfactory written references before starting.
