What’s the role about?
This is a great opportunity to join us as the new Chief Finance Officer. As the Depaul Group continues to experience growth and increases its impact, you’ll lead the effective financial and governance support provided by DPI to its subsidiaries. You’ll be the leading interface between the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees and other corporate bodies and subsidiaries. You’ll provide financial advice to the Group CEO, Board and other senior management colleagues, including modelling best practice in financial management, overseeing the financial management in the subsidiaries, setting financial standards for the group and providing support to enable the subsidiaries to meet those standards. You’ll also be leading and supporting the development of a new governance structure for the Group.
What will ideally support your success?
You’ll be a CCAB qualified accountant with experience of strategic financial leadership and management experience and the ability to solve complex problems. In addition, you’ll have experience of working with and advising a diverse range of boards and external stakeholders. It’s important that you also have experience of current financial reporting requirements and financial management practices, including consolidated financial reporting. Strong IT skills as well as an appreciation and understanding of key HR and ICT challenges in the charity sector are desirable. We’re looking for someone possibly, but not exclusively, working in homelessness and/or international development who shows personal integrity in all they do and have a commitment and respect for our aims, objectives and values.

Context and purpose of the role

Working closely with the Product & Innovation Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the fundraising strategy, leading on the delivery of our individual giving and legacy marketing campaigns across a range of channels. You will create high-quality, compelling campaign materials and ensure an excellent donor experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Income generation
- Play a key role in the implementation and delivery of the individual giving and legacy marketing strategy
- Support the growth of individual giving income in line with annual targets
- Develop and deliver regular cash and legacy marketing appeals to a high level, including:
- Developing propositions and cases for support
- Create compelling direct marketing materials, including writing persuasive copy and developing strong creative content
- Project management to ensure delivery on schedule and within budget
- Managing relationships with agencies and suppliers including design and print
- Manage a portfolio of affiliate fundraising campaigns
Donor stewardship
- Ensure the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is used effectively to facilitate accurate supporter stewardship and reporting

About the role:
The Social Care IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process, specialising in working with women whose families are involved with Family Children Services and risk to children is a factor. You will work to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. This role is part advocacy, part training/education and project work to improve response to victim/survivors experiencing domestic abuse. You will be embedded in the local authority Family Children Services team, working with Social Care professionals to ensure they adopt a trauma informed approach, can recognise the dynamics of domestic abuse and are providing more holistic support. You will be the domestic abuse subject matter expert on site, upskilling fellow professionals and acting as a point of contact for any clients experiencing domestic abuse and support requirements from Family Children Services.
The Social Care project was established in 2021 and has been working in partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Family Children Services, so the IDVAs will inherit strong working relationships and a commitment from all parties to offering more trauma-informed services. The borough has a focus on prioritising and developing good DA work in social care and this is an opportunity to be a major player in institutional change, ensuring that women accessing Family Children services for their children have an improved experience and that the local authorities are leading the way for all survivors engaging with their services.
Advance delivers nationally accredited, quality marked services in Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Brent, Ealing, and across parts of East London. We work within a coordinated partnership response to domestic violence to provide independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women, children and young people and women’s community services for women who are involved in the criminal justice system, in anti-social behaviour or are at risk of breaking the law.
About You:
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse in various areas of need, with particular knowledge on children safeguarding/legislation. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence, of supporting women with child safeguarding, needs, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.
To be successful as the Social Care IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:
- You will establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with housing services and partner agencies.Provide high-quality crisis intervention, information, advocacy, and proactive support to women referred to the service, in respect to risk management and safety planning, criminal and civil remedies, housing, health, welfare rights, and children’s legislation.
- Your abilities extend to assessing the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support and identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs.Advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies and proactively advocate to ensure barriers to accessing support and protection are reduced. You will work as an advocate and educator to raise awareness and upskill professionals within Children Social Care plus work with colleagues to successfully develop and deliver training.

You’ll work closely with teams across the Prostate Cancer UK to help shape their messages for the web, offering advice, guidance, and training where needed. Day to day, you’ll manage content schedules, review pages to identify improvements, and create or edit content to keep the site fresh and effective. You’ll also use digital analytics tools to monitor performance and suggest ways we can enhance the user experience.
As part of the Digital Marketing and Channels team, you’ll work closely with our email and social media teams to ensure our owned channels are aligned. You’ll lead on the delivery of our regular ‘News and Views’ articles in conjunction with our Strategic Communications team, and you’ll work closely with our Web Operations team to help identify and test new website features and fix technical issues.

We’re looking for someone with solid experience in writing, editing, and proofreading web content to serve a specific audience. You'll be skilled in using content management systems (ideally Umbraco) to build and update web pages.

About the Role
The Assistant Reserves Officer is one of our team managing and developing the Trust’s nature reserves for people and wildlife. Your work place includes internationally recognised wetlands and woodlands along with nationally important meadows, chalk grasslands and heathland across Hertfordshire and Middlesex.
You will need to have strong experience in practical habitat management, including the use of power tools and machinery, such as chainsaws, brush cutters and BCS mowers. You will have experience of working within a dynamic team and leading volunteers. You will need to have a keen interest in wildlife and preferably a knowledge of the habitats in our area.
No two days are the same as an ARO at HMWT; you will get the opportunity to utilise and develop your practical habitat management skills across our nature reserves including tree felling, coppicing, scrub clearance, hay cutting and pond/ditch management. You will also undertake the maintenance of site infrastructure; assist with the management of livestock; and perform surveying and monitoring of habitat/species, tree safety and infrastructure. These tasks will be delivered working closely with members of the nature reserves team; our volunteer wardens and our practical conservation volunteers.
Willingness to travel throughout our work area and flexibility to work occasional irregular hours is required for this post.

- Proven stakeholder engagement, including presenting high-level insights and actionable recommendations to global audiences.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization, with demonstrated agility in managing shifting demands and fast-paced environments.
To perform this role, you’ll need the following experience:
- At least 10 years of experience leading evidence generation in global health. Experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) is preferred, but not required.
- Proven expertise in managing complex modelling projects, including multi-sectoral impact evaluations in low-resource and development settings.
- Recognised thought leadership, with a strong track record of disseminating evidence—ranging from peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations to leading webinars and technical panels.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior and diverse stakeholders, including facilitating insight-generation sessions and steering model development.
- Experienced team leader, with a background in managing high-performing data, analytics, and insight teams to deliver quality outputs under pressure.
- Strong experience in donor engagement and managing high-value projects, including strategic planning, budgeting, reporting, and delivering results.
- A track record of working effectively across cultures and geographies, providing technical support and research guidance in complex international contexts.
Formal education/qualification
- Advanced degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Demography, Health Economics, or a related field.
- Additional qualification or formal training in impact evaluation is desirable.
- Proficiency in French is highly desirable (please specify level in your application).
- Additional training or qualifications in, impact evaluation and communication, data visualization (e.g., Power BI), and advanced Excel skills are an advantage.

About the role
FLEX is looking for a passionate advocate with a good understanding of the UK political system, of labour abuse and/or exploitation and human trafficking in the UK, and demonstrable experience of coalition working and building relationships with key stakeholders working in the anti-trafficking, employment rights, and/or immigration sectors. This recruitment comes at an exciting and challenging time for our work at the intersection of employment rights and immigration policy. This role will inform and support our work to influence and improve law, policy and practice affecting worker in high-risk sectors in the UK.
In this role, you will lead on FLEX’s advocacy at the London level and coordinate the joint research advocacy and project work of FLEX networks and coalitions. These currently include the Labour Exploitation Advisory Group (LEAG) and the Taskforce on Victims of Trafficking in Immigration Detention, two networks made of expert organisations directly supporting people who have experienced or are at risk of exploitation. Above all this role requires someone with real passion and commitment to FLEX’s work to end labour exploitation and an excitement for working in a small, dynamic team.
