About the Role
An experienced Relationship Builder, you’ll represent the Charity with our national partners and licensees, ensuring we build strong and lasting relationships. The Diocese of Coventry is seeking a Strategic Programme and Change Director to drive the development and implementation of our strategic framework. They will play a crucial role in developing the programmes and projects needed to deliver to the key commitments and vision set out in Our Shared Future. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Bishop’s Strategy Integration Group, senior Diocesan staff, clergy and lay leaders across the Diocese.
The role holder will:

About the role
As Project Officer you will play a central role in the delivery of INTRAC’s consultancy assignments and grant funded projects. This will involve coordinating short and long term projects, involving staff and consultants through our global network and clients around the world, ensuring effective and quality delivery. Keep Britain Tidy has a new opportunity for a Project Manager to manage the Chewing Gum Task Force programme. The Chewing Gum Task Force is a partnership between Defra, the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs in Northern Ireland, Scottish Government and Welsh Government and chewing gum producers including Mars Wrigley and Perfetti Van Melle which aims to clean up historic gum staining from UK high streets and change behaviour so that more people bin their gum.
The Project Manager will lead on overall administration of the scheme and manage the cleansing grant programme for councils, working alongside partner organisation Behaviour Change. In Years 1 and 2 of the scheme, participating councils have seen reductions in gum littering of up to 80% in the first two months. Now in Year 3, we will shortly distribute more than £1.2m funding to councils across the UK.
This is an exciting role within a fast-paced charity. You will have a proven track record in project management, ideally in environmental projects and/or grant schemes. Excellent organisational and record keeping skills are a must, along with the ability to form good working relationships with Chewing Gum Task Force stakeholders.

This Senior Project Officer role sits in our Innovation and Practice Function. Our team’s daily work includes setting up, managing, designing, delivering and reporting on a wide range of participatory and deliberative processes, ranging from small scale, hyper-local community engagements to large, national, multi-event Citizens’ Assemblies and longer term projects. Our processes can be face to face, hybrid, or online, and often involve bringing together different groups from within the public with interested parties and experts from across government, business , academia and civil society.
In addition, you would work closely with our Capacity Building and Standards team to support their work helping others to deliver these approaches and contribute to our communications and advocacy work. You will also support fundraising for grants and projects, responding to tenders and writing proposals and building relationships with our funders, collaborators and clients.
We are looking for an excellent project manager, able to manage fairly large projects and task manage others at all levels to ensure smooth delivery. You will be great at managing relationships at all levels and working with others to get things done. Given the nature of our work we are also looking for public participation skills, or relevant or transferable expertise and an understanding of deliberative practice. That will enable you to design and deliver project management, and support facilitation that fits our work and enables you to contribute to advising our clients on designing and delivering effective engagement. Do you have a track record of delivering accurate, reliable, administrative and project support in a fast moving environment?
We are looking for someone with experience of working in a collaborative way to join the Marketing and Brand team as Project Administrator on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. You'll support the day-to-day running of the team by providing effective administration and project planning.
This role is varied and the successful postholder will be responsible for scheduling external and internal meetings, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, preparing reports, setting agendas and minute taking for meetings and financial administration. You'll also work with the Project Lead to provide project support to achieve implementation of key improvement projects.
We would like you to:
- Support the Marketing and Brand Director and Project Lead with managing project workflow (for example task tracking, updating and delegating tasks), sourcing and collating feedback and reporting as required.
- Manage the Director Marketing and Brand’s diary including booking meetings, setting and minute-taking for key meetings.
- Organising regular team meetings and events such as away days (booking meeting spaces, agenda, refreshments, liaising with attendees, etc)
- Process our credit card costs and keep our budget tracker updated.
Working in a hybrid way, you’ll be attached to either our Birmingham, London or Manchester office and will report to the Project Lead. In line with our current ways of working, you’ll be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a month, in addition to team days and this may be reviewed by Ambition.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
To succeed in this role you'll have an helpful attitude, with the ability to take initiative to lead or support on projects as required, and you'll identify opportunities to improve operations. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple, competing demands, prioritising as appropriate.
Whilst an interest in Marketing and Communications is desirable, it is not essential for applying to this role. Rather, you'll have proven experience of minute taking, preparing reports and PowerPoint presentations.

Working arrangements: This role will work shifts starting at 10:25pm and finishing at 07:40am. Shifts will be on a rota bases across a 7-day working week. 33 hours will be based upon working 4 nights shifts per week.

The Philanthropy Manager lead in the delivery of the Philanthropy Giving plan for the short-term by securing significant gifts from Trusts & Foundations. You will prospect, qualify, cultivate and steward, building long-term mutually beneficial relationships and growing this relatively new income stream.
You will inspire and expand on a core group of Trust & Foundations to fund and invest in human relevant, animal free medical research and contribute to it becoming the Gold Standard for future generations to come.
Activities may include:
The successful execution of a targeted growth plan from trusts and foundations
• Deliver a comprehensive philanthropy giving plan, with targets and performance metrics
• Review and optimise current prospects pipeline to grow long-term, sustainable income (both restricted and unrestricted) generating £15,000 from Trusts and Foundations
• Excellent cultivation and stewardship with existing and new trusts and foundations to maximise income potential and build strong relationships
• Be responsible for ensuring effective and timely reporting of progress made to grant funders
Write and submit compelling bid proposals to secure funding from major trusts, working closely with colleagues to ensure content is accurate and up to date
• Work with colleagues to produce consistently outstanding, high quality, imaginative and compelling proposals, to present to both large and small trusts and foundations
• Plan and deliver a schedule of high-quality submissions that delivers on time and on targets
• Oversee the implementation of the terms and conditions of successful grants, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of projects performance against the agreed activity plan and liaise with colleagues as necessary
Record and maintain accurate records of donor communication and income through our CRM, producing reports and insights where appropriate
• Maintain efficiency in donation fulfilment, documentation of grants, acknowledgement and manage all correspondence (email, mail) through the Donorfy donor management system

Since 2003, we have been harnessing the power of skiing & snowboarding to break down barriers, broaden horizons and address the biggest social issues facing underserved young people today.
The Programme Manager will deliver a personal development journey to young people using snowsports as the hook to engage those who are less likely to engage with mainstream provision. We do this in partnership with youth projects and youth service providers across the Midlands.
This is a really exciting opportunity to play a key role in Snow Camp’s development in the Midlands. So, if you love working with young people and have solid experience delivering youth programmes, combined with a passion for snowsports – and if you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role working with a committed team of staff at Snow Camp and some amazing young people – this job could be the job for you!
Experience of working successfully with underserved young people in a range of settings will be essential to the post. Furthermore, experience within a snowsports field and passion for supporting young people generally will be a huge advantage!
Project management, logistical skills, relationship management, communication and presentation skills will all make up the job. Along with youth work experience to deliver life-skills or group workshops to motivate young people to work towards meaningful goals – these will all make up the job.
This is a key post requiring at least 2 years’ experience involving the above skills, together with proven project management and budgeting experience.

As the Training Programmes Manager you will have oversight and responsibility for the healthcare professional training projects and activities, as well as growing the M4RD network within HCP groups and training institutions.
You will be key to rolling out Rare Disease 101 training for healthcare professionals all over the UK and potentially abroad. While you are not expected to deliver training yourself you will be pivotal to creating opportunities and facilitating all aspects of the programme.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-lead M4RD’s Ambassador Programme, managing the clinical and medical student ambassadors.

Planning and delivering training events.

Deliver educational and training projects inline with M4RD’s current strategy and work programme.

Collaborate with training institutions and NHS workplaces inline with M4RD’s current strategy and work programme.

Potential to manage up to two members of the M4RD Team.

Support the CEO and Operations & Finance Manager with recruitment duties, operational strategy and development and coaching any relevant staff.
