Our School Talks are a key part of our work at Just Like Us. We take hundreds of bookings from schools every year, and deliver hundreds of school talks across the UK with the support of our LGBT+ volunteers aged 18-25.
This role will be key in working with schools to clarify and action their bookings with us, and supporting our volunteers to deliver those talks, working with the Volunteering Team.

Summary of the Role
Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes. This role is critical to the delivery of our mission and will support the Education Programmes and Impact Manager to deliver School Talks so that we can reach even more young people across the UK with our stories of allyship. The role will be working across the Programmes Team, working on the School Talks programme primarily. The Programmes Team delivers the Ambassador programme, Pride Groups and resources for schools. This role is an entry-level position and will provide the successful candidate with a strong foundation for a career in the voluntary sector. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, with strong organisational and administrative skills, and good communication skills to join a friendly, driven Programmes Team. About Just Like Us
Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity. Founded in 2016, we work with primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people. To do that, we run several programmes:
● Ambassador Programme: We support our ambassadors to use their voice, develop skills and find community. They also deliver our School Talks programme to schools across the UK.
● School Talks programme: We train and support our LGBT+ 18 to 25 year olds to speak in secondary schools about growing up LGBT+ and allyship.
● Pride Groups: We help secondary schools set up and run lunchtime or after school clubs for LGBT+ pupils and their allies to meet, learn and get support, creating a safe space in every setting.
● Resource Library: We provide free resources to thousands of schools, making LGBT+ inclusive education accessible to all. This includes free e-learning for teachers to increase their confidence in creating LGBT+ inclusive educational settings.
● School Diversity Week: We run the UK-wide celebration of LGBT+ equality in primary and secondary schools. We provide free educational resources to thousands of schools, making LGBT+ inclusive education accessible to all.
Job Description
This role reports directly to the Education Programmes and Impact Manager.
Programme delivery
● Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes
● Good regular communication and reporting to the Education Programmes and Impact Manager
● Manage the administration of our School Talk programme, including organising bookings with schools, organising volunteers, supporting schools and ambassadors, supporting the whole delivery
● Represent the charity at conferences, events, prides and fairs

We are seeking a proactive and professional Programme Officer to support the next phase of our Researcher Development programme. About the role
The Programme Officer (PO) will support the delivery of the Society’s Researcher Development Programme, which is already an important feature of Wales’ research landscape.
The PO will report to the Programme Manager (PM), and will work with the rest of our friendly, committed staff team to help ensure the programme continues to benefit researchers at different career stages, inside academia and across different sectors.
The PO will deliver a variety of activities. Their primary responsibility will be running the Early Career Researchers (ECRs) Network. Role purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the National Programme Team with the implementation of operational plans that deliver successful national skills competitions. · To co-ordinate activities relating to requesting, tracking and quality assuring key documents required from our Competition Organising Partners (COPs), ensuring documents are received within set deadlines.

Summary of terms and conditions

· The salary for this role is £28,000.

As the Stewardship and Events Officer, you will develop a new programme of events to engage and inspire our supporters. You will deliver proactive, personalised stewardship for those with the greatest capacity to give and support the creation of a Development Board to help secure higher‑value income for the charity. Your work will strengthen relationships and drive long‑term philanthropic growth.

Harris Hill is delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Head of International Programmes for a respected international Catholic charity supporting seafarers, fishers and their families worldwide. The organisation operates an extensive global network spanning more than 50 countries and hundreds of ports, delivering vital practical, pastoral and welfare support to those working at sea.
Reporting to the CEO, the postholder will lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s international strategy, strengthening partnerships across the global network and identifying opportunities to expand programmes. You will build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, develop a pipeline of high-impact projects, and secure funding from corporates, trusts and foundations. The role will oversee programme delivery, grant management and reporting, ensuring compliance and impact, while also contributing to business planning, budgeting and organisational leadership. You will represent the organisation externally, both in the UK and internationally, and play a key role in enhancing its reputation and influence across the sector. You will also play a key role in strengthening organisational capability across the global network, supporting training initiatives and capacity building for international colleagues. Acting as a senior adviser on international affairs, you will provide insight to the CEO and contribute to informed decision-making at leadership and board level.
We are looking for a confident and strategic leader with significant experience in international programme management within a development or humanitarian context. You will bring a strong track record in grant fundraising and stakeholder engagement, alongside experience of leading teams and delivering organisational strategy. The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware, and able to translate complex ideas into compelling cases for support. Strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse global contexts are essential, as is a proactive and resilient approach.

Bridges Outcomes Partnerships (BOP) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works alongside Government, community groups and specialist Delivery partners to design and deliver vital services that support people to improve their lives, in areas ranging from housing and employment to education and health & wellbeing.
The role of BOP spans project development (working with Government and others to design and launch the service), project management (coordinating the delivery phase, managing performance, and liaising with the various stakeholders) and project finance (funding the project until it starts to earn outcomes payments). Our own funding comes from a group of pioneering social investors, including The Office for Civil Society, Big Society Capital, Pilotlight, Trust for London, who, like us, are motivated by improving lives and changing the system for the better.
About the role
In 2018 Bridges Outcomes Partnerships co-designed the Single Homelessness Prevention service with Brent Council following the Homelessness Reduction Act (2018). The service provides early intervention to prevent or relieve homelessness for single people who previously would not have received support, aiming to prevent the mental trauma associated with homelessness and stop individuals reaching crisis point.
Our services continue to evolve into models that combine homelessness prevention, refugee support, and family stability interventions to improve life chances for vulnerable people and reduce the long-term impacts of housing instability and child poverty.
The Referral & Assessment Officer is a key role within the London Partnership, it is the first point of contact for people who have experienced trauma or are struggling to find a home.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for the following activities within this element of the service
· Receiving inbound referrals into the London central point of access, ensuing all data points are completed and case assessed to ensure referral to the right delivery partner/service.
· Reviewing and processing referrals into the online referral portal, triaging to the most appropriate service for them.
· Ensure that referrals are triaged and allocated to a specialist organisation within the agreed timeframes
· Inputting and processing self-referrals into the SHPS case management system
· Identify, record and refer any immediate safeguarding concerns through the appropriate pathways
· Ensuring the case management system is maintained through timely and accurate record keeping
· Build strong, positive and collaborative relationships with relevant agencies to enable effective referral pathways into specialist services within the partnership and to external services
· Work closely with the Programme Manager to provide details on referral activity and outline any issues or opportunities which might need intervention.
· Ensure the service is accessible to all, recognising peoples’ differences, experiences, communication/language and accessibility needs
· Provide regular reporting to programme lead and commissioners.

The funding environment has shifted fast. Alexandra Rose needs to be sharper, more strategic and more commercially literate than the traditional charity model allows. This role exists to make that happen.
We are looking for a senior funding leader who is comfortable operating as a “department of one” within a small but ambitious organisation. Trusts and Foundations prospecting and bid writing will form a core part of the role, working closely with the CEO and senior team. Beyond that, you will build and steward high-value funder relationships, develop and secure corporate partnerships aligned with our values, test new income models, and help us adapt confidently to a fast-changing landscape.
This is a senior leadership position. You will work closely with the CEO and Head of Finance to shape organisational direction and build a resilient, full-cost-recovery funding model that protects quality, depth and long-term impact.
This is a remote role, with a requirement to regularly attend meetings and events (mainly London but on occasions project areas elsewhere in the UK).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic leadership
• Deliver the current funding strategy, which includes Trusts & Foundations grant funding, corporate donations, and testing new potential ways to generate income.
• Monitor sector trends, opportunities and risks, and reposition the charity as needed.
• Work closely with the CEO and Head of Finance to align income planning with organisational priorities and financial forecasting.
• Build simple, effective systems for pipeline development, forecasting and reporting.
Trusts & Foundations
• Lead the trusts and foundations portfolio, working closely with the CEO to secure multi-year, core and expansion funding, including directly leading on the writing of funding bids. This will be a core part of the role.
• Develop compelling, well-evidenced funding proposals rooted in our mission and impact.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with funders.
Corporate Donations & Partnerships
• Manage and grow existing corporate relationships, ensuring partnerships remain values-aligned, purposeful and mutually beneficial.
• Identify and develop new appropriate corporate donors and partners, informed by research into corporate giving, ESG and CSR trends.
• Shape and evolve a clear, credible and cost-effective corporate engagement offer that supports long-term organisational sustainability.
New income streams
• Scope, test and (if viable) deliver new earned-income models, such as corporate engagement models.
• Develop proof-of-concept approaches and evaluate their feasibility.
• Support the organisation to diversify and strengthen its income base.
Collaboration & leadership culture
• Serve as a key member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to organisation-wide strategy and decision-making.
• Build a transparent, mature, collaborative culture around income generation.
• Ensure the wider team understands funding opportunities, constraints and strategic choices.
