We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to grow and develop new long-term partnerships with employers across the UK, focusing on Apprentices, Graduates, and Future Leaders. You’ll be helping businesses invest in the next generation of talent by connecting them with Outward Bound’s experiential learning programmes that accelerate personal growth, resilience, teamwork, and leadership in early careers cohorts. 

Your focus will be on building strong relationships, understanding workforce development needs, and positioning Outward Bound as the partner of choice for early talent development. 

Occasional evening, weekend, and overnight work will be required as part of the role, including attending client visits, taster sessions, and visits to our Outward Bound Centres.

You’ll have a proven business development background and experience in selling or promoting professional development solutions, graduate or apprenticeship training, or corporate learning programmes.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Excellent communications skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external professionals.  A strong understanding of the apprenticeship and graduate development programmes, and talent pipelines. 

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects and maintain consistent follow-up.

• Confident in presenting to clients, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences (HR, L&D, operational teams, senior leadership). 

• Good negotiation and influencing skills. 

• Experienced in LinkedIn / LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting and building connections within early careers networks. 

• Proficient in Microsoft systems and CRM tools. 

• Knowledge of or interest in experiential learning, leadership development, and outdoor education is an advantage. 

 AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Secure mainly new and some key repeat business to meet personal, and team, quarterly and annual targets. 
• Lead on developing new partnerships within key industry sectors for Apprentice, Graduate, and Emerging Leader programmes. 
• Undertake client learning needs analysis to understand early career development goals and challenges. 
• Produce compelling proposals that align Outward Bound programmes with organisational objectives. 
• Represent Outward Bound at early careers events, conferences, and employer network sessions. 
• Maintain accurate client records via our CRM system and ensure timely follow-up and reporting. 
• Liaise with internal delivery and marketing teams to ensure client needs are met and opportunities are maximised. 
• Drive new business through research, networking, referrals, and sector insights. 
• Contribute ideas to help shape Outward Bound’s early careers strategy and offer to stay relevant in a fast-changing employment landscape.

Salary: £32,000 – £40,000, salary depending on experience

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

• Develop data analysis to help L&D to understand leaners’ needs and experiences.
• Create high-quality e-learning using established development processes and working with subject matter experts from across the organisation.

• Significant experience of managing and implementing digital learning programmes for a large organisation with volunteers and employees, supporting strategic aims and cultural change

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Person Specification

HR Operations & Compliance

• 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally within a small or purpose-led organisation.

• Demonstrated experience managing sensitive employee relations issues.

• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, HR policy development, and HR best practice.

• Demonstrable awareness of emerging trends in People and HR, including the opportunities and ethical considerations presented by AI and automation

• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above), or equivalent experience.

Our head office team is based at the Uttlesford District Council offices in Saffron Walden.  We are looking for someone to work with us at least 30 hours per week; and who is flexible in how those hours are worked – most of our clubs operate outside the usual working day and whilst you will not be delivering the clubs routinely it is important you spend time with the teams on site, actively supporting and developing the services you are leading.

We are offering a salary of upto £38,000 FTE dependent on experience and qualification, and in addition we offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme and the opportunity to join a strong management team who are committed to making a difference in our local communities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business and Service Development Team at Dementia UK as a Regional Account Manager, where you’ll play a vital role in our strategy plans in managing and expanding Admiral Nursing Services across health and social care settings throughout the UK.

Whilst this role is an 18-month fixed term contract to cover an internal secondment, there are plans for future growth in the team in response to our ambitious five-year organisational strategy, where we are aiming to significantly increase the number of Admiral Nurses in our hosted services.

As a Regional Account Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of both new and established Admiral Nurse services. You will help implement, monitor, and ensure they meet quality standards and align with our Common Business Process. In addition, you will represent Dementia UK with key commissioners and stakeholders, influencing local dementia strategies and ensuring that Admiral Nursing remains central to service design, supporting the overall delivery of Dementia UK’s strategy.

We are looking for you to bring substantial experience in partnership development, account management, and project management. Having previous experience in the health and social care sector is essential, along with an understanding of government policies related to older people’s mental health, carers, and dementia.

This is a remote role, with occasional travel across the South West region, including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, to attend meetings and engage with key stakeholders. Ideally, you will be based within this area, willing and able to travel.

About the role:

The post holder will be responsible for all things fundraising.

We are looking for a Head of Finance & Operations to join our growing team in this flexible, remote working role (4 days per week).

The Role

About the role  

It’s an exciting and important time for our charity as we work to help more people out of homelessness and poverty as part of an ambitious strategy. 

The newly created role of Federation Development Lead will sit within the Partnerships and Federation Development directorate, to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives, as part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty to change their lives for the better while using our voice to achieve social change. 

The principal responsibility will be to support our ambition to become a best practice national body, responsible for leading on and supporting the development of key projects within Emmaus UK and the wider federation.

This will include providing leadership to support Emmaus communities across the UK to prepare and respond to the introduction of the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act, you will require an understanding and commitment to best practice and legislative requirements related to the provision of supported housing, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into user friendly support, training, guidance and policies and procedures

The role will also provide a critical role in the implementation and delivery of Emmaus UK’s ambitious plans to seek registration as a provider of social housing. You will provide the project management and technical skills required to support the successful delivery of the application process, ensuring that risk and regulatory requirements are considered and acted upon at each stage, maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders externally and across the federation.

As the Federation Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and development of the Emmaus movement within the UK, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting the overall success of the federation. Your role will involve supporting the development and delivery of strategic plans, programme design and implementation, stakeholder management, and continuous evaluation and improvement of developed initiatives.

Working with the Director of Partnerships and Federation Development and wider Senior Leadership Team, the role will be central to the delivery of strategic objectives related to the development of the movement.

About the Role 

As Partnerships Manager: Changemakers, you’ll lead the team that supports HOST’s global community of hosted partners (HPs). You’ll oversee all Community Support activity, ensuring partners receive the clear, responsive, and values-led service that enables them to focus on making change happen. 

This role sits at the heart of the Partnership Management Circle. You’ll manage a small, high-performing team of Community Support Leads, coordinate cross-team development projects, and ensure that systems, processes, and communications evolve in step with the growing needs of our hosted partners. 

Core Responsibilities 

1. Leadership and Management 

• Line manage the Community Support Team, providing coaching, direction, and performance feedback. 

• Oversee delivery of all Community Support activities, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with HOST’s mission and tone of voice. 

• Coordinate cross-team projects that strengthen HOST’s service offer and internal collaboration. 

2. Hosted Partner Experience and Development 

• Lead the design and delivery of the Hosted Partner Journey, from onboarding to exit. 

• Oversee the production of guides, FAQs, and templates that improve hosted partner understanding and experience. 

• Manage complex partner queries and ensure appropriate resolution in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Operations. 
   

3. Systems, Processes, and SOPs 

• Develop and maintain all Community Support SOPs. 

• Support the development and testing of HOSTHub features relevant to Project Hosting. 

• Work with the Tech and Operations teams to improve efficiency and automation. 
   

4. Risk and Compliance 

• Lead risk identification, screening, and management for Hosted Partners. 

• Work closely with the Legal Circle on legal requests, contract amendments, and risk escalations. 

• Maintain accurate documentation of risk assessments and resolutions. 
   

5. Pricing, Performance and Development 

• Set and manage pricing within the approved HOST fee range. 

• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) with support from the Data Analyst. 

• Lead annual Project Hosting service reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. 
   

6. Collaboration and Communications 

• Work with Communications to deliver partner-facing materials, including the Project Hosting Bulletin. 

• Ensure all partner resources reflect HOST’s empowering, expert, and empathetic tone. 

Required Experience 

• 5+ years' experience in operations, partnerships, or programme delivery within a not-for-profit, social enterprise, or international NGO. 

• 3+ years' experience managing partner or client relationships, ideally across multiple regions or cultures. 

• 2+ years' experience leading and developing a small team, including setting goals, coaching, and performance management. 

• Confident managing systems, workflows, and digital tools (such as ClickUp, Zendesk, Jotform, or CRM platforms). 

• Proven ability to coordinate across departments and disciplines to resolve complex partner or client issues. 

• Experience designing, documenting, and improving organisational processes or SOPs to drive efficiency. 

• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into service or system improvements. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent HOST’s tone and values in partner-facing communications. 

• Demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines in fast-moving, distributed teams. 

• Confident working independently in a remote, cross-cultural environment, with strong self-management and collaboration skills.
