Main Purpose of Job

● To help InsideOut participants to maintain and develop strong, healthy relationships with those around them – friends and family, neighbours, civil society, and those able to support them or offer them opportunities to support others

● To develop and maintain good working relationships as part of the VCKC team (maximising potential to contribute to a positive culture and to achieve our shared objectives)

We split our work into three areas, Body, Mind and Spirit. Body - The practical services including showers, laundry, meals, clothing and more ensure we care for our guest's physical being. Mind - our one to one work including assisting guests with benefits forms, housing applications, CV Writing etc. Spirit - Activities around well-being including art, women's group, sports and physical activity, trips out and more.

Project Overview

The Inspiration Academy will support Years 6-8 to engage with education, strengthen attainment and wellbeing, develop leadership skills, and build a sense of belonging. It is part of a new Belonging Partnership which represents a unique opportunity over 3 years to make a difference to young people during one of the most challenging periods of their lives. The partnership will enable us to track progress and share practice, with multiple perspectives available to assess how young people have benefited, including teachers and parents/carers. We know how rare such opportunities are and we are therefore hugely excited about it.

DreamArts’ contribution to the partnership is the Inspiration Academy, designed to reach 150 pupils in 5 primary schools annually. Of these, 30 young people identified as at-risk of disengagement receive tailored group-based support as they transition to Pimlico Academy.  

Year 6 students from partner primaries will choose and explore a meaningful issue and lead a creative campaign for their school community. Those at risk of disengagement will work alongside peers, taking on positive roles that reshape their self-perception.

A week-long summer intensive will equip at-risk students with a ‘toolkit’ to navigate the academic, social, and emotional challenges of secondary school. Once at Pimlico Academy, they’ll train as Inspiration Ambassadors, delivering workshops to future cohorts.

Additionally, Family Express will provide parents/carers with a creative space to explore challenges alongside their children and other families, strengthening relationships and resilience. Through these opportunities, young people will be supported to build a sense of belonging within their schools and within their wider community.

Responsibilities

The Project Therapist will work alongside the Project Lead and provide a group-based creative therapeutic approach to the planning and co-delivery of the Inspiration Academy. You will help identify mental health and educational needs and co-develop strategies for reducing barriers to participation so that young people can:

· Explore who they are

· Build positive relationships with peers and adults

· Improve their sense of belonging within their school community

What the job involves

This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in driving impactful external communication strategies that support High Value, Philanthropy and Partnerships teams. As a key player in the Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll enable the integration of high value fundraising activities into wider organisational communications, inspiring action to fund life-saving initiatives that help men navigate prostate cancer.

Supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand and our senior Business Partner in embedding and developing our business partnering model. About the Role
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Manage the delivery of traded services relating to Quality Standards and Organisational Development.
• Manage and regularly update both existing and new online resources related to Quality Standards, ensuring consistency and standardisation across all materials.

• Work collaboratively with the Youth Investment Fund Programme Manager to inform and develop Quality Standards.

• Collaborate with Local Authorities and partner organisations to promote awareness and encourage participation in NYA programmes and Quality Standards.
• Utilise NYA tools, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Project Management systems, to generate timely and relevant performance and financial reports that support informed decision making and effective programme delivery. • Extensive experience working directly with young people across diverse settings, demonstrating a deep understanding of youth development and engagement.

We are seeking a skilled and organized community activities coordinator to manage the Afghan component of our new project covering Islington, Camden, and wider London areas. About the role:

This role's primary purpose is to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of Respect's training programmes. This involves an experienced Trainer facilitating courses, webinars, and workshops, as well as overseeing the creation of new training content and securing its CPD certification or OCN accreditation. Energy Action Redhill and Reigate (EARR) is dedicated to improving home energy efficiency across East Surrey.  We work to improve the sustainability of homes, as well as making them healthier to live in and more economical to run.

We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Project Coordinator to join our Home Energy Advice Team.  You will play a key role in co-ordinating a programme of home energy surveys, distribution of energy efficiency materials and helping to deliver a series of events.  The post is funded through an Energy Redress grant and is part of the Surrey-wide HEAT programme, working in partnership with other voluntary organisations across Surrey.

As Project Coordinator you will play a key role in

• scheduling home energy surveys and follow up support
• liaising with residents, volunteers, and local partners
• planning and promoting community events
• monitoring and reporting on project progress and impact

Location: The role is home based; however, travel across Reigate & Banstead and Tandridge will be required to support events and home surveys.

Hours: 736 hours per year (average 16 hours per week over 46 weeks - you can manage the hours worked to suit yourself and the project.  Demand for the survey service is seasonal and it is anticipated more hours will be needed over the Winter months, with fewer hours in the Summer. 

Dates: Start from 23 September 2025 or earliest available date following this. This is a fixed-term contract until 30 April 2027

About the Role

Working closely with the Senior Product Innovation Manager, you’ll support the end-to-end process of developing new, insight-led products, from research and concepting through to launch and evaluation.

This is a hands-on delivery role where you’ll champion innovation frameworks, collaborate across teams, and help embed a culture of creativity, testing, and improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the day-to-day delivery of innovation projects from concept to launch.
• Conducting research and competitor reviews to inform product design.
• Facilitating ideation workshops and supporting sprint-based development cycles.
• Working across teams to ensure product-market fit and compelling audience propositions.
• Supporting business case development and evaluating product performance.
• Championing collaborative, insight-driven innovation practices across the team.

About You

You’re an experienced product, innovation, or service design professional with a passion for audience-centred thinking and delivering meaningful supporter experiences. You may come from a charity, commercial, or hybrid background.

Essential skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience supporting product or service innovation projects.
• Ability to translate insight into actionable ideas and compelling propositions.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Homeless Link are seeking a Senior Policy Manager to join our Social Change directorate which leads the policy influencing and thought leadership activities within the homelessness sector and beyond.

Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homeless agencies in England. With more than 750 members, we work to improve services and campaign for policy change that will help end homelessness and ensure that everyone has a place to call home and the support they need to keep it.

The policy team works to ensure we represent the voice of our members across all our strategic influencing. This is a dynamic role in which you’ll oversee policy activity, build relationships with our members, service providers, local authorities, civil servants, parliamentarians, and other key strategic stakeholders, and drive forward the visibility and impact of our policy work. You will be responsible for line managing the Policy Managers alongside the development and advancing of our policy positions. You will work across the team and with colleagues across the organisation to support the delivery of influencing campaigns and activity. This role is pivotal to achieving our vision of ending homelessness.

Director of Research

The Henry Jackson Society (HJS) is the UK’s boldest think tank and policy-shaping force, constantly ahead of the curve on the big issues of international and domestic importance. We are currently looking for a Director of Research to help lead us permanently on the next stage of our organisational journey, which has already taken us to the status of a household name in the international political and media constellation. 

When HJS was founded back in 2005, the global environment was very different to what it has become today. Over that time, the threats to the free world internationally and to free societies domestically have multiplied, but there has been one constant: HJS’s willingness and ability to fight for the principles and alliances which keep societies free – working across borders and party lines to combat extremism, advance democracy and fundamental human rights, and make a stand in an increasingly uncertain world. 

Reflecting this, our work is focused into two main streams: “Securing our Societies” and “Advancing the Free World”. “Securing our Societies” focuses on threats to free societies within the West, while “Advancing the Free World” examines how the enemies of the free world are operating internationally. Obviously there is interplay between the two streams as the challenges we face are often not as obliging as to lend themselves to easy classification!

What We Are Looking For

In order to meet our ambitious agenda and to augment our existing capabilities, we need a Director of Research to provide strategic oversight for all HJS research and to act as an integral part of the senior management team. You will also be responsible for your own research programme like any other Research Fellow, in order to produce output in your area of expertise.

With colleagues in the research, communications and policy departments to assist, you will be playing the lead role in managing and directing our research output and strategy, as well as developing and delivering profile-raising material of your own.

Main Duties

• To conceptualise, plan, lead and execute the research programme and special projects;
• To develop existing projects and create new ones in order to boost the written, oral and programmatic output of HJS, and to ensure that there is a steady pipeline of work being published in internet and physical form; 
• To structure the department in order to manage research staff, increase their productivity, develop their skills and ensure that they meet agreed deadlines; 
• To peer review, proof and edit research output; 
• To provide reports on progress, delays and changes to the research programme; 
• To identify and develop revenue streams from research content, and to provide an overview of research funding secured and research expenditures through the budgeting and reporting process; 
• To help develop a collegial, united and inspiring atmosphere for all staff across the organisation; 
• To conceptualise, plan and execute a series of exciting research projects over the course of each year, complete with deliverables, ensuring compliance with good practice in relation to the conduct of research; 
• To conduct your own high quality research and writing, including contributing to drafting funding bids and proposals; 
• To engage in public speaking and media commentating; 
• To ensure media placement of the Society written output in association with colleagues and monitor the frequency and quality of this output, in addition to third party references to research; 
• To develop a network of professional, political and media contacts within your field of expertise; 
• To fundraise/secure grants to support your work; 
• To promote your work and represent your discipline and the work of HJS internally and externally, and to act as part of the HJS family in supporting colleagues doing the same.
