About the role
The Head of Campaigns & Influence will lead the development and delivery of Fawcett’s campaigning strategy, ensuring our work is politically sharp, driven by women's experiences, and capable of building momentum over time.
You will work across campaigns, public affairs, digital and membership, helping ensure that our external work is joined up, strategic and effective. You will also play a key role in connecting our national influencing work with the energy, insight and experience of our members, supporters and communities.
This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Chief Executive and contributing to wider organisational planning and decision-making. You will line manage campaigning capacity, help shape a collaborative and inclusive culture, and support Fawcett to grow its public impact over the coming years.
You would be joining a small but ambitious team, with the opportunity to shape both the work itself and how we work together. At the moment, the team is small, which means this role will suit someone who is comfortable leading in a hands-on way while supporting others to grow. We expect to strengthen our campaigning capacity over time, so there is real scope to help shape the next phase of that development.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Experience of leading and delivering campaigns, advocacy or movement-building work designed to achieve social, political or cultural change.
- Experience of mobilising supporters, communities and/or people with lived experience in ways that strengthen campaigns, projects or organisational work.
- Experience of influencing political, institutional or other decision-makers, including translating evidence, policy positions or strategic objectives into clear and credible public asks.
- Previous line management experience, with evidence of supporting and developing others well through inclusive, accountable and values-led leadership.
- A strong commitment to women’s rights and tackling misogyny, with a clear understanding of intersectional feminist and anti-racist practice.
- Strong strategic judgement and the ability to work effectively in politically sensitive or fast-moving contexts.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and audiences.

Job Title: Commercial Manager

The organisation rescues high quality edible surplus food, from across the food industry and gets it to over 8,000 organisations across the UK who are working to strengthen communities and improve lives.
The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK.
Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.
Purpose of the Job
Commercial Manager will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network. For designated top food partners, you will be their day-to-day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels.
You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them. You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.
You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.
Duties and Responsibilities
Partnership Management
• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with
designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources
• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution
• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.
• Research and understand your accounts, including key ESG initiatives, waste streams, key personnel within the organisation that will help drive its success and engage the relevant internal departments through both desked based research and face to face contact.
• Proactively drive account forwards and progress these relationships with regular on-site visits and linking FareShare exec with key contacts.
• Keep up to date with industry and charity insights and ensure this is reflected back strategically across ways of working and account management.
Project and Initiative Management
• Be responsible for managing and communicating key projects and initiatives to increase food volumes and strategic value, securing support from a range of stakeholders within food partners and across the FareShare network.

The Regional Fundraising Manager is a senior role responsible for leading fundraising across the North of England, managing a team of four fundraisers and contributing to the wider regional fundraising strategy. Essential skills & experience
- Significant experience in prospect research for fundraising
- Strong knowledge of Philanthropy, Trusts & Grants, and Corporate fundraising
- Ability to lead complex research projects with strategic focus
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills
- CRM confidence (Salesforce experience a big plus)
- Experience with due diligence, connection mapping and portfolio management
- A collaborative, proactive approach to working with teams and stakeholders
- Sound understanding of GDPR, ethics, and the Fundraising Code of Practice
- Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion—and our mission
Desirable, but not essential
- Knowledge of the mental health or wider health/social care sector
- Experience with wealth screening tools or AI in prospect research

Social Media & Communications Manager
We are seeking a creative and driven communications professional to elevate The Flying Seagull Project’s brand and grow engagement across global audiences.
Position: Social Media & Creative Communications Manager
Salary: £32,000 pro rata
Location: Remote with occasional travel
Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

About the Role
This is an exciting role with real scope to shape how The Flying Seagull Project connects with supporters, communities and stakeholders worldwide.
You will play a key role in developing engaging social media content and campaigns, bringing powerful stories to life and supporting audience growth, engagement and fundraising outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
· Supporting the development and delivery of the social media and creative communications plan
· Creating compelling, high quality content across digital platforms
· Managing campaigns from concept through to delivery
· Monitoring performance, supporting KPIs and reporting on results
· Delivering email marketing campaigns to stakeholders and supporters
· Supporting digital fundraising campaigns alongside senior leadership
· Planning and scheduling content using tools such as Asana
· Collaborating with international teams across multiple locations
About You
You will be a creative storyteller with strong digital skills and the ability to turn ideas into engaging content.
You will have:
· At least 3 years’ experience in social media and communications
· Strong content creation skills including copy, video and imagery
· Experience using tools such as Adobe Suite and social media platforms
· Confidence working with analytics and performance tracking
· A proactive, self sufficient approach with strong attention to detail
· A genuine passion for storytelling and audience engagement

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Job Sumnmary for Policy Officer
We are looking for a Policy Officer to join our Policy and Influencing team. You will build on your policy experience, responding to and shaping policy to ensure it drives real change for people affected by bowel cancer. You will turn complex issues into clear, actionable insight for colleagues, partners, and decision-makers, and contribute to evidence-informed positions that support the charity in influencing health policy. You will also lead on your own policy areas and work closely with our bowel cancer community to ensure their experiences inform and shape our work.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience
- We welcome applicants from a broad range of experience and background, specifically spanning policy, science or health
- Some direct experience of working on policy issues in health, or a relevant sector, and a willingness to develop these skills further, alongside an interest in those issues affecting bowel cancer patients.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Good verbal, written communications and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and adapt style to different audiences. Including the ability to explain information clearly and encourage colleagues to understand different points of view
- Proven ability of strong analytical and research skills to identify and solve a range of problems
- Good interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills
- Understanding of the health policy and political environment
- Excellent organisational, time and project management skills with the ability to prioritise work, handle conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines on defined work areas
- Proven ability to support the day-to-day management of specified projects, proving some technical input in the project planning stage.
- Knowledge of the health service and health service policy issues. Awareness of cancer issues and bowel cancer in particular is desirable
