About Alexandra Rose Charity 

Founded by Queen Alexandra in 1912, Alexandra Rose Charity (ARC) has a long history of supporting people experiencing poverty in the UK. Our vision is for everyone to have access to healthy and affordable food, and our mission is to give families on low incomes access to fresh fruit and vegetables in their local communities whilst advocating for systemic change to address food insecurity and health inequalities.
Since 2014, ARC has pioneered the use of financial incentives to improve access to healthy food and combat food insecurity through our Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg projects. To date, we have supported over 11,000 families, including over 20,000 children, to access £3.5 million of fresh fruit and vegetables in their local communities.
To deliver this scale, we work with 73 children and family centres and community organisations, 69 market traders and independent retailers, two fruit and vegetable vans and one fruit and vegetable delivery box scheme. About the role
ARC is a data-rich organisation, having made significant progress in our data analytics activities in recent years. Using the CRM Socialsuite , we have developed sophisticated project performance dashboards, which are critical in supporting both our delivery and reporting efforts. Our servers are soon to be hosted in MS Azure, and we are planning to maximise the use of this platform in the coming years.  We have also made considerable progress in evaluating and demonstrating the impact of our Rose Vouchers for Fruit and Veg projects. We have developed evaluation tools and theories of change to measure how our work improves the diets, health, and well-being of children, adults and families. 
As we launch our new five-year strategy, we are looking for a passionate Data and Insights Officer who is committed to social change, health equity and inclusion, and can coordinate and develop our data analysis initiatives, as well as provide research and analytical support for our research and evaluation work.
Working closely with the Head of Operations and the Impact & Evaluation Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting the assessment and enhancement of the effectiveness of our projects as well as providing essential insights to support the strengthening of our fundraising and reporting efforts and project performance monitoring.

A confident self-starter, you will be able to juggle multiple priorities, across different teams, with excellent IT and organisational skills with a need to log, manage and analyse information, using Excel, Google Workspace applications, and Asana.

The International Chief Projects Officer (ICPO) will lead and oversee the Projects Department, and reports to the International Chief Executive Officer.

At the beginning of 2025, Laura was seconded to lead a cross-departmental project to align internal systems, processes and tools, which is why she is hiring a support role at the moment to drive forward key initiatives of her original role. Laura is an experienced project manager with experience working in the humanitarian and international development sector for more than five years before joining ClientEarth.

Main Duties

• Contributing to the delivery of the global Fundraising Strategy through driving improvements of relevant policies, processes and tools along the entire funding management cycle ensuring effective and efficient internal operations
• Effectively plan and deliver priority initiatives (including policy revision, risk matrix tool development, streamlining corporate income processes) collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that relevant perspectives are incorporated and work with their line manager on effective prioritisation
• Enable effective decision-making across ClientEarth’s existing and continuously growing funding portfolio, and occasionally review new funding agreements and advise staff during the contracting process

Job Description – Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Responsibility 1: Income generation

1. Achieve an agreed annual high value grant income target to support the Trust’s strategy and business plan.
2. Write and co-ordinate high-quality high value grant applications ensuring deadlines are met and all internal contributors are clear as to their role.
3. Work with the fundraising team leads and head of fundraising to strategically plan funding needs for approved projects.
4. Ensure that match funding needs resulting from grant applications are identified, communicated early and integrated into wider fundraising planning.
5. Ensure all applications (whether successful or not) are recorded on the Trust database.
6. Use grant applications to support BAU income generation where appropriate/possible.
7. Line manage the Grants Officer.

Responsibility 2: Project Development

1. Support cross organisational bids and project development, working with colleagues and partners to develop new project concepts and support the writing of applications and reports.
2. Develop detailed and accurate budgets for projects and funding applications, and which support contributions of Core funding and aligning with the Trust’s financial processes and reporting.
3. Work with the Head of Fundraising to assess and write updates on project funding milestones and income pipelines for the Programme Management board (PMB)
4. Maintain an up-to-date overview of project funding (current and planned) and track funding opportunities and match with the Trust’s project priorities.
5. Work with fundraising managers within the team to create strategic, cross income stream, funding plans to help support organisational projects.

Responsibility 3: Develop Relationships with Grant Giving Bodies

1. Research and identify new grant giving bodies that could help support projects and core work .
2. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with potential and existing major funders to deepen their involvement with and support for the Trust, in co-ordination with the Grants Officer.
3. Keep abreast of grant fundraising trends in the UK conservation and fundraising sector and follow new funding developments such as innovative finance mechanisms that can be applied to the Trust’s work, including through networking and researching funding opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and Health Boards and NHS Trust you will work as part of a team using data and analysis to influence local commissioners, providing the support and tools local clinical leaders need to secure agreement for implementing FLS in their area. This role will optimise and actively promote use of resources that support the development, implementation and quality improvement of Fracture Liaison and Vertebral fracture services e.g., FLS Implementation Toolkit, FLS benefits calculator, UK FLS Clinical Standards.

You will lead the development and delivery of influencing activities to achieve equitable provision of quality fracture liaison services and pathways across the UK including local and regional workshops and events.

• Have you got experience of working with ICBs and/or Health Boards to develop, implement or improve health services?
• Have you got experience of using data collection and analysis for health service improvement?
• Do you have proven experience of influencing external healthcare stakeholders to deliver services that meet national best practice guidance?

Acorns Children's Hospice are now seeking a passionate and results-driven Partnership Fundraising Manager - Trusts & Foundations to development a programme of Trust and Foundation grant applications and deliver agreed income.  This role is offered on a fixed term until May 2026, with a possible extension (maternity cover)

About the Role

Acorns is currently the UK’s largest children’s hospice charity, in terms of both numbers of children and families supported and annual expenditure on our care work.  We need to raise more than £13 million each year to run and support our care services and we rely heavily on the goodwill and generosity of our local community. 

As Partnership Fundraising Manager, you will:

• be responsible for the creation and submission of bespoke applications to trusts and foundations, including high value and multi-year funding organisations.
• maintain, develop and support existing relationships with grant making trusts and foundations
• deliver engagement events to motivate and inspire trusts and foundations
• develop and use a bank of Acorns stories and case studies
• build good relationships and work closely with the wider Acorns teams including Care Teams, Finance, Data Team and Marcomms

About You

• Experience of trust and foundation work in the voluntary sector
• Evidence of success in putting together funding bids to trusts/foundations
• Fundraising experience
• Evidence of achieving significant income budgets
• Experience of conducting research, analysis of data and developing prospects lists

About the role 

As our Health & Safety Manager, you will handle the development, implementation, and ongoing management of our Health & Safety systems. You will act as the organisation’s competent person, providing expert advice and guidance, ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and related legislation. 

You will monitor changes in legislation and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement. This includes regularly reviewing and updating Health & Safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments. You will offer practical, accessible advice to colleagues and support them in embedding safe working practices into their day-to-day activities. 

In addition, you will develop and deliver mandatory training programmes, as well as tailored sessions to meet emerging needs. You will manage all incident reporting processes, including RIDDOR notifications to the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), and ensure thorough follow-up. You will also produce regular reports and briefings for senior leadership and Trustees to keep them informed of key issues, trends, and compliance levels. 

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary on behalf of Sustrans. 

About you 

You should hold a NEBOSH qualification or another recognised Health & Safety certification, with proven experience in managing a system for Health & Safety within an organisation. A strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and supporting regulations is essential, along with specific knowledge of Health & Safety considerations within the construction sector. 

You will be confident in managing Health & Safety incidents, responding calmly and effectively to ensure appropriate actions are taken, and escalating to senior colleagues when necessary. Strong decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. 

Excellent analytical and report writing abilities are required, as well as the confidence to present information clearly and effectively to a range of audiences, both in person and virtually.
